I love watching you guys wish I could live this way. My husband and I are getting an RV on Tuesday the 22nd and already planning some camping trips not like you guys but it’s a start. I will be 60 in May so now it’s time to enjoy life and relax. Thank you for all you guys do and sharing 😃
Yeah it’s nice to see the open views with vistas and buttes, but I’m a tree guy as well. You just feel cozy and secluded. Y’all are living the dream guys! Enjoy
nailed that feeling .... cuddled ... which is why i love camping in the deep mountains the rocks & trees cradle you when you're all tucked up way back in the mountains
Love you guys! Thanks for bringing this to us twice a week. My wife asked how you have that heater in the tent without the carbon monoxide. Shed some light, brother.
Great state park. I also like a lot of trees when camping. Makes it cozy & provides privacy. The meals looked tasty & fishing in the stream was so peaceful & relaxing. Your pressure cooker does a great job. Here in Wisconsin, we had 40 mph winds & temps below zero with wind chill. My back door was frozen shut this morning. But fear not! Spring is just around the corner! I always look forward to your next adventure. Take care & stay safe.
I am so glad y'all got warm again... I am with you Kellie. I love trees and prefer campsites surrounded by them. I dedicate a lot of time to searching out and booking wooded campsites whenever possible.
I'm just loving this part of Texas again!! Love you two being real and genuine. Glad your safely out of those winds!!! ✌ The breakfast looked amazing too!! The breakfast pizza. Kelly is a great cook!! Cody is a funny guy! His Angel Princess name for you is so dang sweet!! The Armidillo!!! OMG!!! Darling. I like the name Jimmy. But Andy works. He seems to like you both too! 💛 Happy Trails. I love your channel.
Love watching you guys all the time! Different places to camp throughout the year! I think Kelly ought to publish a cookbook for outdoor camping. She makes all the food look so appetizing. I'll bet Andy wishes he could go with you when you leave. He didn't want to leave! See you on the next adventure!
That breakfast pizza looked SO delish! Of course, I'd have to have that Kelly style as I do not like runny eggs at all! And what an amazing dinner! You are so blessed Cody to have a cook like Kelly! That potato soup looked so delish! And Andy the armadillo is actually the mascot for the Texas Roadhouse chain! 🤠 For some reason, I knew you were gonna name that armadillo Andy! How perfect is that!
We loved camping at Guadalupe River SP. We were in site 73. The rocks and trees around the river are amazing. Summer heat is bearable floating in the cool water. Oh the white rock is called Austin stone. We had some on our last house. Now you need to head to Garner State park and Canyon lake, which is really close to you - the river feeds into Canyon lake.
I love the trees too. Pine trees are so great. But I have gotten a little claustrophobic before in the deep woods. I hate being claustro but can't help it.
The cold weather from before made you crave comfort food, didn't it? 😁 Funny how weather can give you cravings. I need some biscuits and gravy now! Holly from Maine
Love your videos! And love it that you are in my neck of the woods. Grew up going to Padre and Guadalupe State Park for past 45years! Enjoy the Texas Hill Country!
Oh my, you are in my backyard. I live in San Antonio so I love the 30 minute drive to Guadalupe state park it’s beautiful. Glad you are loving the Texas parks. Be safe on your next adventure. We have had a Rv for 25 plus years so we look forward to getting to travel longer than just a couple of days at a time. Love this park.
Gotta have the trees. That's one thing I love about Arkansas. And Arkansas is where I saw my first armadillo, otter and we'll as my first venemous snake bite.
Great video. After living in Central Texas for over 20 years we've done quite a bit of camping in the area. A park you would love is Inks Lake State Park. The park can be crowded in summer and spring, but early spring is one of the most beautiful times at the park. Bluebonnets and other wildflowers usually bloom profusely toward the end of March. Park Road 4 from Hwy 29 to the park entrance is absolutely one of the most beautiful drives you will take during the end of March to April. The landscape is beautiful as well with the Schist rock formations with the quartz veins running through them. You'll love the hiking and biking trails. Take your kayaks out on the lake and paddle to Devils Watering hole. You can swim and jump from the rocks for more fun. White bass fishing is great there too with no fishing license required. Make reservations very early since they sometimes are booked for almost a year. You never know tho since there are cancellations.
Wow you guys were so close to where we live. I’m glad you enjoyed GSP. We go there a lot. We’ve been watching your channel for awhile. Really enjoy watching it.
I thought you guys were crazy for going to the mountains during the winter, but glad your back were its warmer! The hill country is always 10/15 degress coolder than San Antonio. Dont miss out on canyon lake when it warms up a bit more. One more tip, take in New Braunsfels and all it has to offer including Gruene Hall. Its all magical in my books. Have fun ya'll.
There for a minute I thought you were going to cook Andy. I have actually had armadillo many years ago. Properly cooked they taste good, like chicken. They are probably now protected.
It's like your on a different planet from your experience in your last video. How far is from your last stop. Definitely a keeper for a breakfast. A can see some khaking & fishing happening here. Wow that is some desert. I dont I've ever seen you eat such a fully loaded sugar high. A definite celebration from getting away from the cold & ice. Some serious exercising tomorrow. Lol lucky you dont have close by neighbors as they would be knocking on your tent flap to share it with them. What birds to you have around as a time to get up alarm. I have magpies, kookaburras Cheers Victoria Australia 🇦🇺🐨💙😁💙😁
Hey Cody and Kellie....nice video as usual.....you have been all around us in your latest videos....And that spot when you first arrived at the Guadelupe River is the same spot where our Nephew and his now Wife got married...Love the huge roots on those trees!!!Amazing to see that spot again!!! Hank and Pam from South Texas...
You have to see this area in the spring, be careful of the rain as the floods down there have got a lot of people. Marble Falls is close there and I highly recommed going there too.
This reminded me a lot of the Upper Buffalo and the Ouachita River! Beautiful place! We’ve never been, but you’ve convinced us (you also made me hungry!). I just love watching your videos! Thanks for sharing again!!
You guys are rock’n it again. I’m glad Kelly stopped you from naming the armadillo after me 😂😂. How crazy, you named him after my brother 😂. I think Kelly should do a recipe book. Happy trails my friends.
Andy the Armadillo: How dangerous is an armadillo? But when posed with a serious threat, an armadillo will claw and bite. Through clawing and biting, these armored critters can transmit leprosy, rabies, and other harmful diseases. Humans aren't likely to pick a fight with an armadillo, but household pets such as dogs, cats, and rabbits might engage with them. They are cool! They enjoy Lone Star Beer also! 😂
I use my normal pressure cooker at least once a week for our dinner meals. I make soups and stews and my chili in it. It’s so quick when you work all day
Cody, amazing stretches!!! And thanks for the pressure cooker explanation. I appreciated the insight. Blessings to you amazing humans! ❣️ Grace in Sri Lanka
I was watching John Nonny on FB...He did a French Toast Eggo...I thought of you...I've seen you doing Eggo's for breakfast and thought you may want to try that...Just make the batter (3 eggs, 1 tsp cinnamon, and milk) dip Eggo's in it and pan fry... I love watching the cooking part of the videos. .Everything looks so good...I would love to get the pressure cooker, but I'm not sure I would use it enough...
I hope you had a nice time in San Antonio. I have a great 3-day itinerary for visitors. (No, it's probably not too different from other people's 3-day itineraries, but it is still fun.
I'm sorta new to the channel, but have I missed the "Kellie's Cookbook" episode? Every time I watch I find myself nearly droolin' all over myself! Great content!
I came in after the premier started so I waited till it was over to watch it. I hate missing the beginning. Watching it now. What a beautiful spot you're at. Happy to see you both again. 😊👍‼️💖 WOW we got the wind now... I'm just east of Pittsburgh by about 45 minutes and the wind is gusting at 50 to 55 mph right now and the garbage cans are flying around the neighborhood. Going to be a rough night here. The beef bourguignon looked heavenly. I really hope you try the chicken recipe sometime in your pressure cooker or you can do it in a crock pot or whatever just chicken breasts but first you put in one block of cream cheese one dry packet of Italian salad dressing and one can of cream of chicken soup and one can of cream of mushroom soup and two cans of water. And the slow cooker 3 hours on high and the pressure cooker probably 5 to 10 minutes. It is absolutely delicious and makes an awesome sauce for either mashed potatoes or rice or biscuits whatever. You guys got to try it sometime just make sure you thaw out the cream cheese first and whisk in the soup and water. It is amazing.
Yup... it's official Cody is not allowed to cook.. You almost got hurt twice in one video brother... lol love the content yall..I just go ahead and hit the like button before the video even starts .. lol catch yall on the flip ... 🙂 be safe out there ..
That was a great video y'all! Thanks for showing a bit of everything about life at the camp! I'll have to visit Guadalupe park, I live in Central TX about 2 hrs from there, and have only tubed on the Guadalupe River. Kellie - Texas Granite is awesome! Or was that limestone, anyhow :) BTW - I have never seen an armadillo while it's still light out! Enjoy your Texas visit!
Kelly's meals just keep getting better as the months go by.
I love watching you guys wish I could live this way. My husband and I are getting an RV on Tuesday the 22nd and already planning some camping trips not like you guys but it’s a start. I will be 60 in May so now it’s time to enjoy life and relax. Thank you for all you guys do and sharing 😃

Beautiful huge Cypress Trees along the River Bank
The meat stew got me drooling. 🤤 And that armadillo was hilarious. 😂😂

Kelly yes! We love that rock too!
"possum on the half shell" Andy will make a unique meal for Kellie to prepare
Yeah it’s nice to see the open views with vistas and buttes, but I’m a tree guy as well. You just feel cozy and secluded. Y’all are living the dream guys! Enjoy
nailed that feeling .... cuddled ... which is why i love camping in the deep mountains the rocks & trees cradle you when you're all tucked up way back in the mountains

Andy was soo cute! Loved how he made himself at home with y’all. All the meals looked delicious!
Love you guys! Thanks for bringing this to us twice a week. My wife asked how you have that heater in the tent without the carbon monoxide. Shed some light, brother.
I have been wanting to ask as well!
The heater has a built-in carbon monoxide detector. :)
There are awesome reviews/test videos on the buddy heater on youtube.
Great state park. I also like a lot of trees when camping. Makes it cozy & provides privacy. The meals looked tasty & fishing in the stream was so peaceful & relaxing. That spot is just perfect for you guys after all the wind and severe weather. Enjoyed the peace and quiet of this area.
You made me smile this morning … God Bless You … safe travels, be well !
I am so glad y'all got warm again... I am with you Kellie. I love trees and prefer campsites surrounded by them. I dedicate a lot of time to searching out and booking wooded campsites whenever possible.

Welcome to SATX!! I Live just down the road from GSP. glad you guys enjoyed it and Great episode!
That beef stew looked phenomenal. I could almost taste it.
Glad you visited the Texas hill country
Looked like fun there. I like the trees being there too. Food looks yummy.
Ya'll look a lot happier out of that cold wind on your last video. Great video, thanks. I prefer camping around trees also.
We loved camping at Guadalupe River SP. We were in site 73. The rocks and trees around the river are amazing. Summer heat is bearable floating in the cool water.

Andy the armadillo is a cute 'lil feller!
Awesome campground y’all
Welcome to central Texas! If y’all get a chance, try some apco chorizo. Cut up some onion and cook together. Add some eggs to scramble…yum.
I was raised down south and lived in San Marcos, TX and love that area. Glad yall made it.
Gotta have the trees. That's one thing I love about Arkansas. And Arkansas is where I saw my first armadillo, otter and we'll as my first venemous snake bite.
Oh my you guys are camping in our backyard. If I knew you guys were here my wife and I could have met up with you al and show you around.
This was an amazing video! Glad you guys enjoy Texas so much
So glad you found the sun, warm and calm! That dessert you guys…you’re killing me!😉. I was thinking Archie Armadillo.
Very nice spot you found to camp at. Your "Pet" Andy is a good name, I thought of the name Arlo.

I’ve always said an armadillo walking in the dark sounds exactly like 3 men walking, dragging an axe.
Wow you guys were so close to where we live. I’m glad you enjoyed GSP. We go there a lot. We’ve been watching your channel for awhile. Really enjoy watching it.

Glad y’all made it out of the wind 💨. Wise move to head to hill country and it is a beautiful place. We vote for “Jimmy” the armadillo 🤙👍🤣

That's limestone isn't it? Love the insight to y'all's life. 🤗s!!
Wow - very impressed with Cody's flexibility doing that Yoga wheel - I started Yoga 3 years ago so I can appreciate how hard it is to do that.
I love cooking a roast in the pot. (We have an insta pot.) Got one ready in the fridge, in fact. Looks like its gonna be a stew instead ;)
You have to see this area in the spring, be careful of the rain as the floods down there have got a lot of people. Marble Falls is close there and I highly recommed going there too.

Received our cutting board and pints yesterday. Your shipping department is REALLY fast.
We like our pints! Enjoy your channel.
Texas has good travel areas

Thanks for the video stay warm out there
I use the garlic Naan bread to make air fryer pizza - delicious. BTW, you guys have the cleanest campsite I have EVER seen.
Nice video i hope to continue

Hello from Michigan
I hope you had a nice time in San Antonio. I have a great 3-day itinerary for visitors. (No, it's probably not too different from other people's 3-day itineraries, but it is still fun.
I understand about cold. Went camping on four wheelers. 57 degrees, got up it was 18degrees.
Guadalupe State Park is on the southern edge of the Hill country.......
Nice park, last time I was there water level was super low but made for some nice little cascades you wouldn't normally see on river.
I'm sorta new to the channel, but have I missed the "Kellie's Cookbook" episode? Every time I watch I find myself nearly droolin' all over myself! Great content!

Hope you get to visit San Antonio. We have a great biking greenway that eventually will surround the city. Great video.
Awesome video 🤙
You must see the frio river while there. Also Garner state park climb up Old Baldy while at the park.
You guys should look into getting a Blackstone to cook on.
Yup... it's official Cody is not allowed to cook.. You almost got hurt twice in one video brother... lol love the content yall..I just go ahead and hit the like button before the video even starts .. lol catch yall on the flip ... 🙂 be safe out there ..

Absolutely beautiful area of Texas! Unfortunately, the cedars keep me from enjoying it like I want to.
