Unbelievable that the state parks of Arkansas are just barely 100 years old!
It's not a huge state but has so many various regions-flat lands woods hills mountains streams and lakes, it's truly a hidden gem-don't get on the wrong side of the locals they like it the way it is-dont move there to make it just like where you came from

I love all of your videos but this one is "repeater" to be watched again and again. There were so many wonderful elements including Jonathan...uh, I think his shyness(?) is gone. You have sold me hook, line and sinker on Arkansas...been through it via I-40 dozens of times but always with a destination elsewhere. However, on one of my trips I bought a bag of fried catfish drove west about twenty miles, did a u-turn, drove back to the gas station and bought two more bags of catfish. Anyway, this video presented the incredible beauty of Arkansas, you presented its wonderful history and as always Kelly presented her magical culinary skills. I loved the beautiful Damascus chef knife and the Dome Life utensils. My knife is a Japanese made tool without any design...it is sharp! My favorite scene was the one Jonathan called the "grotto" and it brought back memories of a similar setting in Nikko Park on the Japanese island called Honshu. Awesome video and loved hearing the history.

My family camped and hiked Petit Jean many times back on the late 50’s and 60’s. It’s really cool to see it again. As I watch you learn and discover new things, and your interest in and respect for the natural world makes me very glad that you are the future of humanity. ❤️

💗💗💗 This is bringing back memories. This was my first time hiking ever in 2015. My husband and I rented a cabin at Mather Lodge. We had so much fun and got our butts kicked by two of those trails. I felt like i was gonna pass out going up the switchbacks. 🥴 Love you guys and i always look forward to your next adventure.
We were up in that area about 9 months ago. Went to visit one of my daughters. Well we liked the area so much we bought 3 acres in Conway Arkansas will be moving in June. lived in New Orleans all my life I'm 71. Arkansas is one beautiful state. Thanks guys. sure did enjoy this video. Stay Safe.
Love the history about this place! And that overhead view of the waterfall was spectacular! I bet even better in person. I remember jaw breakers Cody....it was THE thing to get at the candy store back in the, late 70's/early 80's for me and my sister. They were super hard, multi color layered spheres. Super fun to finally get to each layer and see what color it was. You had to lick them....you couldn't really bite them (hence the name jaw breaker) until they were small enough, even then...you had to be careful. Came in all different sizes. Forgot about those until you mentioned it. K&J cookoff!!! Yay!!

Loved this vlog! Kelly I tried scones in the oven and used a 6" pizza square on the bottom of the oven to help prevent bottom burning, It did help! I'm going to try once again and raise the height to the highest position and use the pizza square next. I'll let you know if I improve on my idea.

Beautiful park. We only visited briefly but hiked some of these same trails. Can I make a suggestion.....Head to Heber Springs and kayak out and hike Sugar Loaf Mountain. There are 2 - Sugar Loafs....one by land....then one you have to access by boat. But it is very doable by kayak (done it twice actually). Love ya'll.
