Would You Wear Heels Designed By A Doctor?

- These high heels are designed by a doctor for all-day wear. According to Dr Liza, these heels offer unparalleled support and relief for tired feet. Read my latest review to see if Dr Liza heels are the ultimate comfy heels you've been searching for!
I will. They remind me of heels of the '40s and '50s which I've been told by older women. They wore heels everyday but they were just short and comfortable
@2727.L I have inherited a pair of five inch snakeskin stilettos from the 1950s.
The thing about 50s heels is the way they were well balanced these are not like them. The form used for shoes is so bad these days ..im a huge fan of vintage shoes. And shoe making in general so im a little offended that you relate these as they lack many of the features which make older shoes amazing.
I still see elderly women wear those type of heels to go to the store and I LOVE them! True goals
(I live in europe)
@@Padraigpimagine being offended over shoes grow the fuck up
Yup now they have bunions!
I looked up some reviews online that weren't directly on the website... everyone was giving them 1 star saying that they didn't fit right and/or fell apart within a few months of wear (with photos). I was really hoping these would be good quality since they're so expensive but I guess not.
With photos 😆😆.
And I just said yes too. ssss never mind
dammit, are we sure they weren't knockoffs?
Bummer
Hilarious, because she pulled out of the dragons den deal as they wouldn't market them as 'investment pieces'
I’m a little concerned about how far back the heel base is, for best stability and durability it really needs to be directly under the center of the heel to directly transfer weight to the ground instead of being offset
I think that's why it's a chuncky heel
I was concerned by that too. The chunky heel doesn't help much when it's in the wrong place
Personally for my center of gravity is at the back of the heels. Thts why I couldn't even be stable using fendi's sport heels. Since its too forward.
They still need a wider and taller (less flat) toebox
I noticed this too, it should be closer to the center of the foot
THESE WERE NOT DESIGNED BY A DOCTOR. Neither chiropractors or osteopaths are considered medical doctors. Their work is not recognised to have proven medical benefits.
John Hopkins' research says otherwise about "unrecognized proven medical benefits"
They and many other big institutions have claimed these practices do have major benefits. I suggest you look up chiropractic treatment before and after videos. I've seen ones where a hunchback man with spinal issues was able to readjust his spine slowly over months. To the point of no hunch back nor chronic pain.
that false for osteopaths!
@@Katherine-gq9fm that's cool and all but it's still not a doctor. I'm sure there's benefits to chiropracty (at least in some cases, because there's also cases where people were left with permanent nerve damage and paralyzed) but that still doesn't really mean they are more qualified than the average person to make shoes that are good for your health and comfort
You do realize there are other types of Doctors other than medical Doctors
How about before posting such an ignorant comment you actually look up what a chiropractor is. While the don't hold a medical doctor degree they do have to study alot of the same things a medical Doctor does. Chiropractor are Doctors of Chiropractor care.
Where I'm from, chiropractors are not doctors and im pretty sure its the same in the states
They may be a chiropractor with a doctorate- in that way, technically they are a doctor- if not a medical doctor.
That's a stretch lol @@HRwoeking
Yes.. Not a doctor! I was looking for this comment from someone other than me lol. I'm in California... Not a Dr.
You can be a doctor without a medical degree. Having a phd and being a MD are two different things but both are often shortened into doctor.
@@mandi3891 you still can't have a phd in anything related to being an Osteopath or chiropractor, which was her reply to what kind of doctor are you...
Chiropractors aren’t Drs/MDs
My spine is f’d up and I’m in a wheelchair cause of it. They do far more damage trying to “achieve” that crack when in reality they may just break something like what I experienced
I'm sorry you were hurt by a bad chiro. I've had 20 years of being able to manage debilitating pain because I have a good chiro. It's not the field, it's the individual.
@@techgirl1337 Medical student here-
Sorry the field is literally pseudoscience. Here in Australia we had a recent scandal bc chiros were doing spinal manipulation on babies that were less than 1yr old..
At the end of the day a good chiro who practices evidence based medicine is great but I'd much rather take a physio any day (even a physio who is trained in massage/manipulation/dry needling which would be awesome. We have large scale studies and meta-analysis/systematic reviews with strong evidence that shows absolutely no benefit to spinal manipulation and in fact shows harm associated with spinal manipulation - the worst of which being spinal cord injuries/artery dissections and death. the entire premise of chiro is based on no substantial evidence at all
@animenome308 so, youre saying it's not necessarily the field, it's the individual. Also noted that you are a student and chose to completely ignore my life experience so you could interject your opinion. I hope that over the next 20 years you learn to listen to your patients about their pain as a form of the basic respect that you chose not to show me.
@@techgirl1337 it''s not about listening to a patient since you're not my patient! If you were then I'd respond much differently, however since you're equating chiros to MDs as if they can be compared at all is just harmful imo
If anything me being a student has nothing to do with this since everything I've said is purely factual and based on consensus medical recommendations...
I'm happy to cite some wonderful sources for you but at the end of the day if you're not willing to hear me when I say that large scale meta-analyses have found no benefit for chiro;s - in fact they've found harms... That's not discounting your anecdotal experience. It is however shitting on chiropractors bc at the end of the day pseudoscience deserves to be called out for what it is and you're not gonna shame me for doing that lmfao
also as someone who suffers from chronic pain as well, I would never refer to a chiro. I'm glad that worked for you and my heart goes out to you bc chronic pain is life-ruining... but I multidisciplinary team of pain specialist, physio, GP and psychologist can do wonders - that's what worked for me (kinda lol) and it's what I would recommends for patients and comfortable doing that since that's what the consensus is for treating chronic pain according to the experts.
"What kind of doctor are you ?
- I'm a chiropractor and an osteopath"
So the "not a doctor" kind
Osteopaths are doctors, Ive been to several over the past 8 years since I got injured
if she is a DO then she is a doctor, but if she meant something else by osteopath then she definitely is not a doctor
@@Sarah-nc3itNot necessarily, they might as well be a physical therapist. Medical doctors might get a COURSE in it but there is still no evidence for chiropractors and osteopaths actually doing.. something.
@@Sarah-nc3it They are not medical doctors.
@@Sarah-nc3it "Osteopathy, unlike osteopathic medicine, which is a branch of the medical profession in the United States, is a pseudoscientific[1] system of alternative medicine that emphasizes physical manipulation of the body's muscle tissue and bones.[2] In most countries, practitioners of osteopathy are not medically trained and are referred to as osteopaths.[3][4][5]"
Bullshit. An osteopath is not a doctor. Just like a chiropractor or a naturopath.
I definitely would specially if our sisters made them..I love shoes but I’m at the point of my life comfortable wear is a must 👠👠
What kind of doctor are you?
"um a chiropractor and an osteopath!"
Oh. So no kind of doctor, I see.
But letting that slide I'd wear those heels definitely. they already look like the kind of heels that I visually like anyway, just shorter. to. me they look great and plus they seem really comfortable and anatomically viable. I'd buy.
An osteopath is a D.O., which is a DOCTOR. Like an M.D.
@@LivingInChrysalisyeah, thats the joke, it's not like an MD
@LivingInChrysalis Do is dr of osteopathy. Much more reliable than an osteopath (non dr version) and dont even think about chiro.
Her response was a lesson on how to trick ppl into believing you are a Dr without lying
@@LivingInChrysalisDOs are doctors, but this woman isn't a DO.
I'd have to try them.
I had tried "shoes made by crew staff for crew staff" and that sure as heck was just scammy advertising
So is this tbf
They're not "pretty" heels, but in terms of practicality? Sure. Being in pain for work isn't worth it.
@2727.L Plenty of heels can be comfortable and pretty, these are just a lil wonky for me.
@2727.Lthese are perfect for wide leg palazzo pants. I need the extra leg length but the shoes aren’t really visible…
@2727.Lplenty of workplaces where you need heels.
I work as a croupier but am somewhat short. Without heels I'm destroying my back trying to reach over the tables.
I've found one pair of pumps that work, basically same concept as the shoes shown here
(Or like someone commented, similar to heels from the 40s/50s)
@@M.Nortonwtf where the hell do you live where you’d ever “need” heels??
@@alexbennet4195 literally stated in my comment that I need it for work.
They are for sure comfortable, but I don't know if I like the shape of them...
Ps: love your videos🤍🤍
I definitely would wear those
I would wear them. It's simple and would go with plenty of outfit styles
Id wear them to work with dress pants. Im all about being confy while still looking good!
Yes i would. The loafers are cute❤
Those black heels are cuuuute
Good for your posture yes❤
Yes I would wear them.
Yes! I always wanted to be a heel girl, but I've got things to do! If she has a pointed-toe, I might actually buy.
There's already Dr Tara shoes in usa for years.
Depending on price and comfort, I might buy.
Thank GOD for our creative black women.
I have always found DOs the best as a patient and to learn from as an assistant. They look at the whole person in general so it’s very refreshing. I’m just surprised she mentioned chiropractor first which and I can’t keep thinking about that 😂
That would be because she is not a DO, but rather has a 'Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Practice'. It's incredibly deceiving for her to represent herself as a doctor when she is very much not one.
It would be much better if the heel were more directly below the heel of the foot. (Some shoes already have that) and a wider toebox to prevent hallux valgus. They may be better than others but don't come up to the standards I'd expect from a doctor chiropractor.
Chiropractors aren't doctors
I definitely will, they look so comfortable ❤❤❤
Girl, the spin!!!
Yes I would! I'm flat footed and have very narrow feet my feet hurt all the time .
I'd buy a load pair ... This is Beautiful, useful and looks great for my style❤
Yes, as a person who gets blisters easily i would buy these
I would however the comfort would mean I am forgoing style they are cool
Bless her. We have been in pain for too long!❤
I actually own black suede shoes almost identical to the red ones. I can walk in them all day and actually do. I searched for years for shoes with bottom like this, because I had shoes like this as a kid in 1996-97. They fell apart, but were the most comfortable shoes ever. Heals or no heals.🎉❤❤❤🎉
Those red shoes are adorable!
I would loooove these!
Walking in pain aint fun. They arent the most gorgeous but practical yes
They look beautiful and I wish I'd had those 20, 30 years ago when I had to wear heels and suits for work. My feet are sooo painful now in my mid 60's!!
Oooh, I'm sure air hostesses would love these. I once saw one in 6 inch platforms... I couldn't fathom how she was just walking around like that
Yes I would, I think they are gorgeous.
I would definitely wear heels designed by her!!!
Yes where can I buy them
Omg unrelated but your lipgloss looks amazing
btw they start in the $2-300 range
Yes
I would! I have a pair of (Dr.) Taryn Rose heels. I wasn’t aware of this doctor! Thanks for the introduction.
The red ones look amazing
Omg ninja turtles profile picture!
Yes I would
Thank you for sharing
Yes i would!
Tamaris has a great line with very similar high heals, my most comfortable high heals ever ❤❤❤
They are really nice
I want to wear that lip combo! And hell yes!
The fact the toes still are so squished I would not
Ideal for Flight attendants!!!!❤
I have to have support on the ankle or somehwere on the foot to help them stay on.
Definitely i would wear them they looked extremly comfortable were can i order them.
Revolutionary. 😊❤
Built-in insoles?! Yes, please!
Id buy a few pairs!❤
I would wear both! I loved the black pair.
Yes!
Finally... I think they are a classier modest look!🎉
I would get them right away! Love heels but they often kills my feet.
Oooo I didn’t know that was a thing! I’d wear it
Are they affordable...I love love love them
Beautiful
Yes, I would, and I quite like the look of those... I'm usually in sneakers or the "barefoot" shoes, but I can manage those heels...
Yes.
The first pair No Ma’am but the red pair definitely has me sold 🥰

I'd love it!
yes
Very attractive shoes@
We had orthopedic shops which sold sandals, slippers and high hills. The medical ones (who make shoes adjustments to your feet) are closed, but you can see a few if u are sharp eyed).
I think it is a lot of colors fit you will than that color for the lipstick ❤
The red ones are adorablee
Love those red ones- I'd wear them, especially if they are comfortable 🎉
I have one of those type of heels like almost exactly the black one im a college student and i actually don't like wearing heels much and my best friends got them for me in my birthday and at first i actually didn't like it because i cant really walks in heels and its a pain to walk with it and i guest im greatful for them having to buy it since they were been practically telling me to get atleast one pair of heels to use even for school purposes only.
Not sure if they are doctors but if they can make a heel comfortable and not bad for your feet then I think she deserves having some big brands reach out for a collab to add in the fashionable aspect more. Feet health deserves a moment. My grandma who passed alway always wore heels for her work and had painful bunions cause of it in later years and she couldnt walk as much. It would be nice if this offered a solution to that for current heel wearers.
I thought the knee pain and foot pain comes from bunches are toes together?
The red ones are so cute !
Yes I wud ❤❤
Yes I would wear heels by doctor most definitely they probably really are comfortable
Yes!!
I want the red ones, they're so cute !
Ya i’d wear them, especially with my bad back, but thats one steep price tag when on a fixed income
girl i would totally do .. cause i know if it's made by a doctor they are meant for comfort
I don't care for the heels but I am admiring your lipstick girl😍it's beautiful
I actually really want a pair
I like the red ones!
YES.
Yep
Ofc
The red one is so pretty
Honestly I appreciate that she is trying to make shoes that are comfortable specially heels but they are not pretty at all if she works on the design this could be a great product, you have to think that people spend grands on expensive red bottoms and they are the most uncomfortable shoes ever
I wouldn't trust a doctor that was recommending heels tbh, let alone designing them
