I have flat feet and a short Achilles tendon so it's usually difficult to just randomly go into the shoe store and pick a heel, I have to really think about it, I try to go for low heels, block heels and wedges. I'm the most comfortable in those and when I wear sneakers I wear sneakers with a bit of height and I look for support in those sneakers. I cannot wear stilettos. Honestly, just standing in them is painful and unstable and it makes me feel like I'm walking like a giraffe. For context, I'm 5"1
Also, my left foot rolls inward. Stilettos are a no-go.
Narrow with high arc...I learned that super flat shoes can cause pains years ago when I wore some sandals that was extremely flat and did a lot of walking. I think I felt pain in my knees the day after. I only thought heels alone could cause foot pain. But lolz girl those clips you add in are hilarious.

This is great, the struggle is real! Explains why I (high-arch, narrow and hammer toes but with no fashion sense) am finding it impossible to agree on bridesmaids shoes with very fashion-forward girls with avg and flat feet.
In fact, thin chunky heels with a height of 7.5cm are very comfortable to wear. In this way, shoes with heels are much more stable than stilettos and have good protection for the ankles. It looks more elegant than chunky heels. A lot of sandals have heels of that shape. Pumps can sometimes find heels of that shape too.
The girls want the heels from public desire and ego but when reality strikes in 😭

Thank you for making this! I used to think I just hated heels but I really wasn’t finding heels that were comfortable. I think I’m going to stop trying to order heels online and start going into the store for them so that I can actually feel them. We only get these 2 feet in life and we have to treat them right!

Thank you!! I stopped wearing heels a while back thinking flats where the best option but they also caused me a bit of pain I don't think I have wide feet but I do have bungion and I did not know that some rules of wide feet would apply. I think I might try to find some heels 😊

hahaha, it's all you can do. I had that happen one time too but in front of my date while wearing those crazy stiletto platform heels in the early 2010s. I looked crazy and felt silly but acted like I was cool. My knees suffered for a couple of weeks due to that fall 😂

Great information, I have big ugly bunions lol i hate them. I've been trying to look for best heels to dance in for nightclubbing with my friend next weekend, The front of my feet was on fire I had to go home after only a few hours.
I actually started looking at what professional dancers wear, Then shoe/boots style came up a lot. And when i think back I really always being more comfortable with ankle support.

Any tips for narrow feet? Shoe shopping is a nightmare because narrow is almost non existent.
Should I be embarrassed to wear strap heels if my feet are very long and skinny?
I do have a good tip what I've just remembered, I used to put sure roll on deodorant on the bottom or my feet. Coat your feet well, Let it dry and it stops them burning as much when you've got big heels on,
I also put it under my hair on my neck and all around my hairline to stop the humidity sweating my hair frizzy when i was in Thailand it was so hot it worked a treat.
All the Thai lady's hair looks poker straight and glossy 😍

Actually you dont get bunions from tight shoes unless you are already genetically predisposed.
