10 Designer shoes that are ACTUALLY COMFORTABLE! I cover everything from flats to heels to boots. I own multiples in many of these styles and IMO I think they are totally worth it! Tell me what is your most comfortable pair of designer shoes? Hope you find this video helpful! Xx Mel P.S I didn’t cover sneakers as generally sneakers are pretty comfortable and I wanted to cover more heels :)
Hello Mel I wonder if there are any Amina Muddi shop in Melbourne or Australia. If yes, please please let me know. I really want to buy them but I want to try them on first. Or any recommendations if I have to buy without trying it on. Thank you
My most comfortable heels are a pair of older suede Miu Miu heeled sandals and my most comfortable flats are the Charlotte Olympia Kitty flats and Tabitha Simmons Hermione. I'm still on the hunt for a comfortable pump though, most pairs I have tried slip off my heels when I walk any amount.
Thanks Mel. Interesting about the JC, I always went for the Romy. Shoe shopping can just be so difficult to judge! I find you either tend to strike gold and find shoes that end up being so comfortable, or you fall in love with shoes that for some reason just don't seem to quite wear in, despite feeling fine in the store. I have a pair of velvet Ferragamo pumps (could not resist) and suede Aquazzura's that have the same wearing in issue on one heel for a while now. No amount of shoe stretching spray seems to be helping, but I have faith as my Romy's had a similar issue at first :') I think my most comfortable pairs are my Marmont mid-heel pump in suede, Louboutin nappa 100 simple pumps, and Prada's 85 in suede.
My problem with designer shoes is most of them run narrow. So they just don't fit or are a killer for my feet. The Manolos are definitely one of those.
Can you tell me how you deal with the Chanel slingbacks straps constantly coming down? I have that problem and since you mentioned it I’m hoping you have some type of a solution or tip to help me. Please share 🙏
I find simple pumps in nappa leather (100) to be the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. They also make them in 70 and 85 heights and patent leather. However, within the first year (2016), one of the heels on my first 100s literally popped out. I took them to Harrods and where they tried to get out of the warranty repair, blaming me. Last week... it happened again with the same shoe. I've not had this with any other designer shoes and I'm always careful to take good care of them. So I think it's just bad luck with the build of that shoe, but it's really not what you expect from such a brand.
Hello Mel! Could you make a video on light weight bags?? i have problems finding good bags that are not heavy from a different brand than Longchamp... (Back issues) Thank you :)
Great content! May I ask if your feet is normal width or narrow or wider. My feet is on the normal to wide and I only find YSL heel to hold my width well. I like the Hermès sandal but don’t know if it’s comfortable
For me YSL opyum pumps 85mm is the most comfortable shoes, so unique and elegant as well. I can walk, dance on them for 6hrs straight. also love the Gucci sandals, everyone said it's so comfortable, I'm saving for it now. 😍
Oh yes I own them too but in the higher 105mm I wished i went with the 85mm instead. They are quite comfy but I would imagine the 85mm would be soooo much more comfortable. I agree the heel detail is just stunning! xx
Yes those Jimmy's are classics for a reason :) Yes the Hermes Oz mule is super comfy I agree but for some they don't suit me. I wish they worked, I do love them especially since it has the kelly clasp xx
Love your recommendations Mel! Do you have any thoughts on the comfort of dior slingbacks (65mmm)? I'm looking for designer heels for my wedding and trying to choose between dior slingbacks and classic Jimmy choos!
When people say there are such thing as actually comfortable heels, does it really mean pain-free or that just means less pain? Because pain is what makes heels uncomfortable in the first place.
It’s less painful. This is coming from someone who lives in 100mm to 110mm, anything below makes me feel awkward even though I’m 5’10”. A comfortable heel of this height is less painful and doesn’t make you want to rip them off immediately (think Louboutin) however 65mm is very comfortable with barely any pain/painless while 85mm is a bit less comfy but definitely not painful, in my opinion. Hope this helps :)
I don't have any pain, at all, in shoes around 6.5/7cm. I only wear those. But, I get pain and needles on a 8.5cm. I don't own any shoes above that. The shoe has to fit well in length and in the toe box. And shoes that strap to the foot are even better as it prevents the foot getting tense trying to hold the shoes in place.
i recently knew this: it depends on your feet length. so everyone is different. measure your feet in cm then divide by 7, the result is the perfect/most comfortable heel height for you
Hello Mel! A very informative video, very nice! How about the Rene Caovilla? Are they comfortable? I am after the crystal-embellished mesh pumps. Can you give some advice, please? Many thanks : )
You are sooo right about Gucci Jordaan loafers. I am on the hunt to get another color because they are the only designer shoes I’ve worn enough to get my money’s worth. Jimmy Choo’s are also usually more comfortable than other designer heels especially if you get them in sling backs. 💐
The oran flats in pink shearling are absolutely amazing!! My favourite shoes! I haven't find any comfortable shoes, I have always problems with my feet, especially during the summer. Have you ever tried Balmain shoes? I have seen a pair of ankle boots that I like, but I don't know if they are comfortable...
Thanks you Veronica! They are super fun and so comfy! :) I think you should look at designer that offer different widths. Most shoes are a C fitting but brands like Ferragamo offer a D fitting which makes them much more comfy. I do own a couple of pairs of Balmain but they are from many years ago so can't comment on the quality of them now. If you love them, get them from Mytheresa or a luxury site that has free returns, that way you can try them and see if they suit xx

Hi Mel! This is a comprehensive video full of great info. Thanks darling! Your selection is right on target. I have most of them and love them all! My top fave is the classic Valentino rock-stud caged pumps, in patent leather. Gorgeous pumps & a show stopper!
I have the Jimmy Choo and Love and Romy, Valentino Rock studs, Gucci loafers, Stuart Weitzman and the Manolo’s. Of all my most comfortable are the Manolo’s and then the Rock studs.
Hi Mel, I came across your channel recently and I enjoy your pleasant, Happy and honest personality! I love shoes and blings and liked the Jimmy Cho’s “Bling” shoes. It’s beautiful and has the bling, just the right height. I checked out the price and had no idea it cost almost a thousand dollars🥺😄. Maybe, I can afford it in my next life😂🤣 God is Good and I can’t complain! I’ll keep watching your channel and be Happy for you! God Bless You & Your Family. Stay Safe & Take Care🙏
I’ve wanted to buy the Chanel sling back (block) heel forever, but now I hear you say the heel strap falls? I guess I will need to rethink my purchase. Glad I caught your video. My favorite pairs are the Hermés block heel sandal and the Gucci block heel sandal. A block heel can make a huge difference when it comes to comfort. Would you recommend going down a size with Hermés since its leather and will break in after a few wears?
Agree on the comfort level of Manalo’s, Ferras and JIimmy”s. My faves are my Jimmy’s so easy to wear even in the office. I would want to try the Gucci sandals 😊
I find jimmy choo loves are comfier than romy because the love toe box is longer And agree on the valentino rockstud flats, i sold mine cuz they just kept cinching in on the sides of my big and pinky toe. And if u hav thin feet, it creates alot of gap above the front of the shoe which is going to be fairly unstable
I bought JC Bing 65, overall it's great. But do you find the top strap slightly too tight? Do they stretch a bit? I also love Love, I have a couple of the 65, and it is great, better than Romy 60. I would add Aquazzura.
Such beautiful shoes. Unfortunately I can't wear heels anymore due to a spinal injury and it breaks my heart as I am such a shoe lover also. I will just dream about you beautiful Mel wearing your gorgeous shoes. :) Much love . Jenni from Adelaide. XX
Hey Mel, watching this vid late but would be really interested in a shoe care vid like how you keep them nice... if you sole them, spay them or polish them and what products would you use
I've been looking for a round toe pair of stilettos, closed toe. I would've went with CL's dolly pump, but I already have two pairs of his. I couldn't find any designer round toe pumps so I just got some from nine west.
Love those pink Oran flats!!! I would splurge on designer shoes if I had more occasions to wear them. I live in a casual beach town and nobody dresses up around here. Need to head into NYC again soon now that everything is opening up and wear cute shoes!!
Thank you! So glad you do Diane! :) The orans also come in beautiful neutrals as well and totally can be dressed down. Hermes also has jelly flats which are great for the beach just in case you were interested xx
Shoes, shoes, shoes!!! AHHHHHHH. Love them all. Next on my list.... Manolo, in YELLOW. I noticed that you did not mention Roger Vivier? I have a pair of tan leather sandals, with a low heel. One of the most beautiful, comfortable shoes. They go with everything!.
Yes we love shoes!! lol So funny you mention Roger Vivier I just placed an order for a pump i've been eying for ages. I hear their shoes are super comfy too. Which style do you own? xx
I always enjoy looking at shoes. Unfortunately I have very difficult feet and have yet to find a pair of luxury designer shoes that fit. This is not a big problem, however. I buy most of my shoes from Ziera as they come in wide sizes and have arch supports. Recently they have done some designer dupes which are so much more comfortable for me than the originals and I have been really enjoying them. I am like you in that when I find a pair that are very comfortable I buy them in multiple colours because I want them to last a very long time.
I bought my 1st pair of Stuart Weizmann ballet flats a week ago from my Theresa can’t wait for them to arrive. I do like your Gucci loafers. I’m going to save up and by some flats from aquazzura. New watcher from London uk 🇬🇧🙋🏾♀️
Agnes I do own a pair! I totally forgot about them because by sister "borrowed" it and she's had them so long. Time to chase her up! lol But yes I agree, the colibri's are so comfy too and would have totally made my list xx
@@MelinMelbourne I adore their thick belt that hangs a bit Have 5 purses, and went with a men's Monster wallet, as I am tired of the bulk of anything else! I would love and purchase, your picks for sure
I can walk in my Hangisi’s all night no issues whatsoever, even run from the police! Love them! My second most comfortable are the rockstuds, super easy to walk in but my issue with them is they get scratched quite easily. My CL Kate 85’s are like an everyday go to but I find myself wanting to sit down, they are not for standing still. Unfortunately YSL and Gianvito Rossi just hurt, truly car to curb.
how about Dior's heels? I am looking at them all.the time. However they are having few chic design from Jadior. The heels design is special and I love how the Jadior edge on the 👠.
Thank you so much! I think eventually I will do a shoe closet tour but at the moment they are kinda everywhere lol so hopefully in the near future I can convert one of my spare rooms into my new bag and shoe closet xx
Hi Mel, which brand is best for wide feet size C fittings? I have a bunion and can’t wear the standard B fittings anymore, but most lux shoes are standard B fittings 😩
i heard from hermes SA that their leather sandal aren't waterproof bc its untreated leather. She says people would go to a cobbler and add a rubber sole on it. Did you have rubber soles added to any of your shoes. Does your shoes get ruined in the rain?
Oh you remember those :) I still love them and picked them up for such a great price at the Gucci outlet years ago. I can walk in them but wouldn't say they are that comfy lol but I can last a couple of hours in them at least x
@@MelinMelbourne yeah they looked really high, anyways beautiful shoes are always uncomfortable. lol. Do you usually slap on grippy outsoles on heels? Most of them are so slippery, especially the loubs, slippery floors are an accident waiting to happen!
So Happy to be this early... I see the Stunning Green Love pump now... one of my FAVs of yours Mel... let me get back to the video.😉😁.....brb I'm back....STUNNING collection! I do own a pair of Stewart Weitzman boots like yours Mel...in a Dark Gray...Mega Markdown Sale at Saks OFF 5th. They are the only Luxury shoes I own. Oh wait, I own a Burberry Sneaker - so Both Lux shoes are Comfy.🌼🌸🌼 Ohhh, I LOVE your Diir Blouse so much!🥰
Wish the Amina shoes came in a shorter heel height. Not everyone can walk in 4.5 inch heels. Also, your link for the sole protector, is broken, can u relink it. Thanks!
I was surprised that Prada didn't come up in this list at all because my only two pairs of "own multiple colors of the same shoes" are the 85mm Prada Pointed Toe Pumps, and the Prada riding boots. I think those are about 25mm? and they are both fantastic. But I agree with you about the Gucci loafers and Manolo Blahniks just in general, so I've added a few more from your list to my list :). Need some Vera Flats because I have the same issue where a completely flat shoe isn't really comfortable to me. I have a pair of the Orans and I love them, but I think the Oasis would suit better. I also can't wear slingbacks because they slip down my foot, so I think we have similar foot shapes.
Totally agree with you Mel with some shoes which I also owned l🥰👍🏻.For me , Valentino is the most comfortable next to Hermès and Gucci Jordan and Marmont sandals 🥰 .. Love to have Jimmy Choo mules , Manolo Blahnik Hangisi , Amina Muaddi and Oasis soon 💗💗💗 They are on my bucket list .. YSL tribute also is a comfy one in lower heel not in patent ..😉 Thanks much for sharing Mel 🥰💗💖
In own Manolo’s Hangisi and love them. 10.5 heel and they are amazing. So far I have two pairs and of course first one was the blue you showed! I love love them! Definitely my fav brand of all times when it comes to shoes and they just look amazing plus comfy! 🙌🏼💙💙💙
The Ferragamo’s look stunning, I have been eyeing them for some time but I didn’t know if they are comfortable. Thank you for doing this detailed video ☺️ One other pair of shoes that I find very comfortable are the Bottega stretch mules. Nothing compares to the Hangisi though
Ferragamo founder invented back in the days the "perfect shoe" using math and physics, so the shoes are perfectly balanced to sustain your feet, using a hard foil inside the sole

I find simple pumps in nappa leather (100) to be the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. They also make them in 70 and 85 heights and patent leather. Def worth the splurge Veronika, they are sooo pretty not to mention iconic too! With the Gianvito Rossi do you mean plain leather pumps? xx
@@MelinMelbourne exactly, plain leather pumps❤👠!
Love all of these shoes!! Can’t pick a favourite!! Thanks for showing us!!💕💕💕💕
Hi Mel, which brand is best for wide feet size C fittings? I have a bunion and can’t wear the standard B fittings anymore, but most lux shoes are standard B fittings 😩
Ferragamo has C and D, suuuuper comfortable!!!
@@patrice7p thank you, I’ll check out Ferragamo! 🙏
Thank you for this informative video Mel 💚💚💚
You should check out the Fendi Colibri.
i heard from hermes SA that their leather sandal aren't waterproof bc its untreated leather. She says people would go to a cobbler and add a rubber sole on it. Did you have rubber soles added to any of your shoes. Does your shoes get ruined in the rain?
I really loved that silver Gucci sandals of yours with bamboo heels! Are they hard to walk in? They look killer!
Most of them are so slippery, especially the loubs, slippery floors are an accident waiting to happen!
great sharing Mel! inspired
So Happy to be this early... I see the Stunning Green Love pump now... one of my FAVs of yours Mel... let me get back to the video.😉😁.....brb
I'm back....STUNNING collection! I do own a pair of Stewart Weitzman boots like yours Mel...in a Dark Gray...Mega Markdown Sale at Saks OFF 5th. They are the only Luxury shoes I own. Oh wait, I own a Burberry Sneaker - so Both Lux shoes are Comfy.🌼🌸🌼
Ohhh, I LOVE your Diir Blouse so much!🥰
Wish the Amina shoes came in a shorter heel height.
Oh my Lord above those are the cutest shoes…
what a perfect collection
Great selection! The Oran didn't work for me, but I have to try the Oasis. I have Ferragamo Vara in so many colors, to me it is the perfect shoe!
Are the Gianvito Rossi heels true to size?
When I first saw this on my notifications I clicked as fast as I could
hehe thank you for being so early x
@@MelinMelbourne Yeah I really try and wait for your update and watch it as soon as I'm available 💕
Love all of your Vids from Philippines 💜
I guessed right that you got the shearling oran sandals! They look so comfy and cozy :)
I am not shoe lover :) but I liked 2 models and tomorrow is a shopping day obviously:) thank you for great video!♡
My pleasure! Have fun and let me know what you get xx
Those Gucci sandals are so cute
Can you share the brand of your beautiful earrings?
Breathtaking!
Such a great video, thank you so much!
Feragamo shoes were used in the movie The Tourist, worn by Angelina Jolie.
first!!! omg love you
You're the best! Much love right back xo
Ahh I would love to get a pair of the Manolo Blanik Hangisis for my wedding shoes! They are stunning and look so comfortable! 🥰
They are! They would make the perfect wedding shoes! xx
Hi Mel
Love the Hermès pink sandal
Yay glad you love them too Tracey xo
The oran sandals you got is adorable 🤭😍
In own Manolo’s Hangisi and love them. 10.5 heel and they are amazing. So far I have two pairs and of course first one was the blue you showed! I love love them! Definitely my fav brand of all times when it comes to shoes and they just look amazing plus comfy! 🙌🏼💙💙💙
i love the Jimmy Choo bings so so so much, but i think i bought half a size too big so the don't stay on my feet :(
The Ferragamo’s look stunning, I have been eyeing them for some time but I didn’t know if they are comfortable. Thank you for doing this detailed video ☺️ One other pair of shoes that I find very comfortable are the Bottega stretch mules. Nothing compares to the Hangisi though
Ferragamo designs have always been focused on beauty but never forgetting comfort
Ferragamo founder invented back in the days the "perfect shoe" using math and physics, so the shoes are perfectly balanced to sustain your feet, using a hard foil inside the sole
can u do something like most comfortable 8.5cm/10cm heels next time~~
