19 kids, you can not tell me that all those kids feel loved and cared for. They just become a number, and parents make the older ones raise the younger ones.
@CorrectionUnknown Babysitting your one little sibling occasionally isn't the same as having to clothe, feed, and care for 18 other kids. That's child neglect at that point. The only way those size families function is that the parents delegate their own daily responsibilities down to the older children, which robs those children of the experience of being kids themselves. The Duggars were that kind of family, and they were so neglectful and so unable to parent all of the children they irresponsibly produced that they continued to leave their younger children under the care of an older brother who molested them allegedly even after they knew about it. Because free domestic labor/babysitting for the parents is more important than their kids well being at that point.

That's comedy in a nutshell. I know people that have been raped, beaten by their partners e.t.c. yet fully understand what a comedy show is. And what it might (probably) will entail. And they can still have a good laugh. Also, nothing wrong with getting offended. Just as long as you are able to control yourself and wipe it away from your mind. Not start a fight with a comedian because he didn't ask everyone in the audience to write down their life stories so he could go through each and every person to allow him to rule out all the jokes that might offend people.
this guy really let her off easy. she completely ignored the point/context of the joke, insulted him in front of everyone because one of the jokes personally applied to her, and still Karen'd out when she demonstrated she still didn't get it. most other comedians would have ripped her to shreds at that point but he decided to just end it completely with her thinking her opinion was still valid.
I think she assumed the joke was about welfare queens. To me, it looks like she got really defensive because it sounds a little similar to the rhetoric conservatives use to justify not supporting any kind of welfare. She completely missed the point in her defensiveness
@@thedudeamongmengs2051 , I don't think you understand what constitutes a "conservative". In theory everyone can't pay for all these welfare children, and the ones not having children so the welfare mothers can have more should be respected. I went to a comedy club about 20 years ago and one of the guy's in our group tried to heckle the comedian and I saw first hand don't ever do that. Remember that comedians are professionals and most of them love to make you look like a fool when you fuck with them.
And most people who go to a comedy show featuring a single comedian go to that show because they are fans of that comedian and like their humor. So when a heckler goes after the comedian thinking the audience will be on their side, they are sadly mistaken.
SRank Outcast Well now you’re stupid by saying that logic is stupid because that logic is not all wrong, what’s the case with peoples out there having 7 8 9 or 10 kids and not be able to feed and raise them all, i can accept that they might have 1 or 2 unplanned pregnancy but if someone say that that they’re having 9 kids and it’s all unplanned, would you believe them ????
In past millennia, when maternal mortality approached 50%, polygamy made sense. When infant mortality was 50% and more children meant more farm hands, many of whom would die from trauma or infections, "be fruitful and multiply" made sense. Today, what makes sense is either effective birth control, or visiting a sperm bank then sterilization. Or sterilization, then adoption. We have an enormous surplus of people, and shortages of resources.

@@dagnabbit6187 As a Mormon, I disagree completely with you. While we do tend to raise large families we are also taught to live within our means on a regular basis during church meeting. When we do struggle with money, we are taught to first rely on family for assistance. If we do receive welfare from the church, it comes at a cost, typically a member has to sacrifice luxuries like cable or internet, cut their own excessive expenditures, before welfare from the church is received. Just because a religion is focused on families and raising large ones, does not mean their being negligent of the responsibilities that come with it. Good strong families is the backbone of creating strong and productive communities. We would be far better off as a society if everyone came from large responsible families than the current single parent households.
The point was whether or not the comedian would win. Odds aren't in their favor. It's quick thinking versus preparedness, and comedians normally have everything worked out before they get on stage. Actually, since most comedians can't handle hecklers then if people start thinking hecklers should get owned by comedians this expectation will harm comedians. It will both stop the show as the comedian is expected to deal with them and lose them cred when they can't.

19 kids, you can not tell me that all those kids feel loved and cared for. They just become a number, and parents make the older ones raise the younger ones.
Dude people with 2 kids delegate the older to babysit.
And then there's the show 19 kids and counting. Why it has to become a reality show? No idea.
Literally the max number of kids a couple can have before they literally can’t provide for the kids is 2. At 3 there are literally not enough hours in the day to meet the needs of kids.

In theory everyone can't pay for all these welfare children, and the ones not having children so the welfare mothers can have more should be respected. True
And every pro comedian has at least 3 bits to take care of people like that.
Heckling a stand up comedian used to be done just to hear the comeback and laugh along with them. Now hecklers are little too personal and aggressive.
And most people who go to a comedy show featuring a single comedian go to that show because they are fans of that comedian and like their humor. So when a heckler goes after the comedian thinking the audience will be on their side, they are sadly mistaken.
He's right. If you can't afford children, stop having them until you can.
That logic is stupid as not all pregnancies are planned.
It's just not fair to have kids you can't afford, whether that be 2 or 20.
Question- which of your siblings do you wish were never born?
@@scottydu81 Me and everyone after. My mother was 15 when she started and she didn't know what she was doing. she says she was born to be a mother but only really liked the first two years of a babies life. Didn't help my father was the absolute worst. In saying that, I find it rare to come across an elder child of a very large family not to feel the same as me
@@mamakitty6549 Awful convenient for you to set the cutoff right after you were born… do your younger siblings know you feel this way about them?
@@scottydu81 No. I said I wish I wasn't born because my parents were and are terrible people who shouldn't have had children. And my siblings and I all feel the same way because we were all had different levels of trauma related to being born into a terrible situation. Why do these miserable people go to comedy clubs. Just stay home and stew about life. This dude is funny, never heard of him

Well Ma'am, it's a good thing my tickets are non refundable.
this shitt was the bomb ^^ !! My great grandfather and grandmother had 16 kids and they all where fishing, foraging, hunting and worked so they never needed any help but I swear they would totally laugh at all these jokes and actually agree that its weird and crazy to have that many 🤣
Having a lot of kids probably works really well if you live out in the countryside. Nature provides what the dirty city cannot!
@@UhtredOfBamburghtrue. I'd honestly believe a person used to living in the country is a lot more experienced and well equipped for the chaos
@@gothicpixelchick people in the middle of the city are honestly just beaten down and tolerate a lot more bad behaviour because its futile to try to fix anything. “Comedy doesn’t work unless someone is getting offended”
-George Carlin
Rhett Dilley this is false you can still laugh and not be offended.
Chris Smith I think you misunderstand. What that quote means is that comedy ALWAYS pokes fun at someone or something. Every form of comedy, in one way or another, challenges someone, or something’s pride. Slapstick shows someone getting hurt, puns make fun of the language you’re speaking, exaggeration jokes poke fun at realism and practicality, etc. When you tell a joke of ANY kind, you’re mocking someone or something. That’s just how comedy works; it helps us deal with the less pleasant aspects of life by acknowledging them, and then making fun of them
Oh man he was the king.

Your opinion doesn't matter now, you've already paid at the door.
@@Daftboy89 You're getting thumbsed up because most of the viewership of politically incorrect comedians tends to consist of more males than females and because the crossover of SJWs and feminists makes people more willing to scapegoat this as being solely women who take offence to comedy.

I don't understand why people like her go to comedy shows... she clearly has no sense of humor.
BucketsAMF I find that the people with the worst sense of humor usually think that they have a wonderful sense of humor. It’s similar to how a dumb person can be extremely sure that they are right
The Dunning-Kruger effect, only for humor. You could call it the Dunning-Kruger-Hofstetter effect.
Everything is offensive to somebody. And she was more than likely laughing her ass off... until this particular joke hit too close to home. But, she forgot that one of the most important qualities you can have, is the ability to laugh at yourself. If you can do that... you life will be a lot more fun (for you, and everyone around you).
BucketsAMF You nailed it right there. She herself probably has at least 15 kids and is humiliated by what he said, and she should be.
Too be fair... if she has 15 kids and the means to care for them, good for her. She has nothing to be ashamed of and we all need to shut the fuck up. It's only if she has that many and has to beg the state for welfare relief (and the internet for donations)... THAT'S when we get to have an opinion about asking her to sew up her cootch or snip her husbands balls.
That was so entertaining. I wish I could think that quickly and that wittily in response to people when they say dumb things.
19 kids he's absolutely right. They are living off the community and the sad part is the older children are raising the younger ones. You're not emotionally equipped to raise 19. They cover a lot of this in super nanny. One of the older kids was having severe anxiety attacks because he had to do so much.
how many baby daddies are we talking about !
The one kid was raping his sisters
@@GORILLABREATH1 I know the show he was talking about and there was only one baby daddy. It was a married couple who thought it was a good idea to have 19 kids. Just look up the Duggers.
they weren't though. They had money. you may be thinking of the octomom-
Like, I would get it if these parents lived in a farm or something, because when you're living in a farm, you need arms. But in capitalism it really isn't a good idea to have 19 kids. 21 mouths to feed, and only two of them at most can get the money. Like, it's one thing to say "poor people shouldn't breed" (which is a pretty horrible thing to say imo), but it's another to say "if you're broke because you had 19 kids, you probably fucked up"
