Increasing voltage will also decreases current thus making having the same power input but a little lower in power output.. if the input battery is 9v 500ma = 4.5 power and using booster the voltage may increase to 40v but current decreases to 0.1125 so the output power is the same in input power 4.5 or less since in booster there is 30% loss... P= V x I

Don't you have an extra copper winding on your Toroid that you didn't show? Also, why didn't you just make it variable instead of fixed? You could have used it to charge batteries. Right?

the amp output would be a minimum off 1 amp if the led is 12 v/10 w and is not fake it works used npn or pnp transistors or mosfets. on pnp you reverse bat polarity and diode
