Hey guys, this is a different episode than I was going to put out, but that episode still needs work and I want it to be right. This was a kind of fall back episode. Either way, I hope you enjoy it. New episode in a few days, and it's a long one too!

@@fleafree8048 Because Tectoy(a brazillian toy and electronics manufacturer) still officially distributes some SEGA products.
Tectoy has had this partnership with SEGA for a long time now, which made SEGA consoles much more accessible and cheaper in Brazil than Nintendo or any other.

If you pause the game during the end cutscene with Eggman flying away in his Egg-O-Matic, and then unpause, the music from Sky Base Zone 3 will continue playing from where it left off before the cutscene began.

Good memories, this game has a special charm that no other 2D Sonic games have. I enjoyed it a lot more than it's 16-bit counterpart ^^
I actually discovered the ramp speed glitch by accident since rolling down hills in this game so so fast especially doing it on Labyrinth Zone

1:10 That's the similar glitch in Sonic Mania Plus that happens using Mighty in Angel Island when you spindash through the rocks but you jump before you hit the small rock.

I first saw it at my friends house on there arcade
It’s really interesting to see this game. It’s amazing how such an amazing 16-bit game could be ported so well to the 8-bit hardware. Seriously. It’s really good for it’s limitations. Makes you wonder why they didn’t make the 8-bit game’s first like Mario did.
Sonic was made explicitly to show off the more formidable power of the Genesis, so the MS/GG games were made to provide those who couldn't upgrade some Sonic games to play.
FYI. Use closed captions. It’s hilarious at the beginning 😂
ahw man so many memories of this game, and amazingly I knew all the glitches my self when I was a kid. This video was very nostalgic and seeing all those glitches just put me back 25 years. "Damn you onion chopping ninjas"

This version of the game was really unique. I liked how you had to find the Chaos Emeralds, it was a spin on things that none of the other games had.

This was a nice little surprise! I've always thought this game was much better than the original Sonic 1 and the music is just spot on. I'm surprised at how little glitches there was though, still a nice episode.

Played this game growing up as a kid, played the first few levels so many hundreds of times that I remember finding a couple of these myself. Using the ramps to go faster than the screen I remember doing all the time. Good times!

Camera mechanics were tweaked which made the level a lot fairer.
5. Labyrinth Zone Wall Clip Upward - 2:29
Works in V1.0 Game Gear but not V1.1 which is used in every official re-release.
7. Scrap Brain Zone Random Platform Clip - 3:40
Does not work.
