  • The 2021 #LincolnCorsair is a premium compact #crossover built to compete against the BMW X3, Audi Q5 and the Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class. Although based on the same platform that Ford uses for the Escape, the Corsair has different engines available and starkly different interior and exterior design to help it stand above its mainstream sibling.
Using all of the Lincoln’s latest features and technology, the Corsair represents the entry-level vehicle for the brand and may actually be the best product they sell.
Watch our full, in-depth video to see what we think of the 2021 Lincoln Corsair.

Looking at this segment, there are two value providers. Lincoln and Genesis. Genesis provides you m/amg level driving Dynamics thousands under an M or amg car. And although Lincoln can't be equipped quite as opulently as a Mercedes at the highest trim levels, but when similarly equipped it comes in itself over $5,000 cheaper then a glc. And Lincoln throws in tangible features for that price, unlike Audi who seems content with just smothering you with further technological gadgetry, Lincoln will give you things like the Hybrid engine, the 24 way seats, the Adaptive suspension

Very very nice. I don't ever remember seeing a Lincoln on the road. But Lexus NX/RX everywhere. I'll take the Lincoln. _;/)

Does it have interior mood lighting?

Great review! However, I'm grateful it doesn't have a 3rd row. They seem to only work for small children. If they were included (the seats, NOT the kids!), then I would be paying for a feature I wouldn't use. Thank you for talking about the 2.0 vs 2.3 as well!

Not all of them, try the navigator i have one and the 3rd line of seats can fit my husband perfectly and have a little extra room for his legs and he is 6ft tall!!

Max....would this shop against a Volvo? We have a 2016 V60. Looking towards next vehicle. Thanks!

Probably cheaper to own. A trip to a Volvo dealers service dept will get your wallet serviced too.

@@observant98 No doubt! We've loved our 2016 V60, and it's been bullet proof so far, but is out of warranty. Definitely concerned about visits to the shop! With only 25k miles on our Volvo....when to trade? Hard to know.

@@orrengWith today’s cars being so reliable dealer service departments, particularly in the city’s, get creative about getting people to bring their cars in. They throw in anywhere from 4 to 8 free oil changes as the bait. One of the latest I heard was a lady being advised to have all the fluids changed including the transfer case ( owns a RAV4) or a Honda owner needing brake service on an Accord at 7500 miles….dust accumulation she was told. We take our Ford SUV’s in when the light comes on. One we’ve had 8 years and the other going on 2 years. No problems and out of city dealers service dept is not out to service a person’s wallet.

I drive Volvo, the wife drives Corsair. I think the Corsair is better...by miles. The Corsair interior is more quiet, the seats are more luxurious and plush, less road noise and feeling bumps on the road as the the Volvo. In my opinion, the Corsair is a much better SUV for long distance trips.

I haven't tried that generation of V60. Comparing this Lincoln to a current XC60 or V60, the Volvo's definitely have the Lincoln beat. Their build quality and seat design is a class above still. That being said, the reasons why I like the Lincoln are very similar to the reasons why I have loved most of the modern Volvo's I reviewed

The standard trim level does not. I just got one. You may can get one with the Co Pilot 360+ package. Not sure if that’s included on the Reserve trim level or not.

I have to disagree. The response is pleasing and compares to my former X3.
