It was the same with the last gen Vauxhall/Opel insignia estate (sold in the US as the Buick Regal) EDIT just remembered the station wagon Regal Never became a thing
I used to think Lincolns were old men cars. So much so that I would never consider looking at one. And then I was shopping for a new SUV and my husband suggested the Corsair. He’s from England, so he doesn’t get the “old man” thing. I eventually agreed to go see it just so he’d stop nagging me. I compared it to the Mercedes GLC and the Land Rover Discovery Sport. Once I saw it in person and drove it, I was in love! Lincoln have really changed their style! I’m enjoying my new sparkly white Corsair. 🥰
Doug, I think more cars do the keyfob-window trick than you think. My brother learned about it on his Honda. For the heck of it, I tried it on my 2011 Chrysler and it too lowered the windows. I use this a ton in the summer, great feature. Not sure what other cars do this, but the fact that I'd been driving the car for years without knowing makes me think there may be a lot more out there.
I have to say, my mom has this car. I’ve driven it many times and I do not like it. The gas pedal is very sensitive and it feels like the car lurches forward with the slightest pressure on the pedal. The brakes are also finicky. We leased the car brand new no mileage and it would slip out of gear when stopped. We sent it back and they replaced the entire transmission. Don’t let my bad experience sway you, but I figured I’d share my experience. Very luxurious interior and quality materials.
Jason Buis Nooo, a twin scroll has 2 exhaust inlets so it gives boost faster in the low range. Every twin scroll is a Turbo but not every turbo is a twin scroll
Great review as always - Cadillac XT5 pales in comparison to this - really all of Cadillac in comparison to Lincoln on every level these days. Also surprised no one remembers Ford having the push-button keypad system on most all their vehicles 20 years ago ... my Taurus & Mercury Mountaineer both had them in the past, loved the innovation & convenience.
My 2008 Rabbit (Golf) has some of these amazing features. Put the key in the door, turn and hold...all the windows go down or up. All 4 windows also have auto up and down. Click the window button and the window goes all the way down. Also if you get your body part in the window it will sense this and stop closing. Also my wipers have a courtesy wipe, front and back. About 15 seconds after you turn off the wipers, it wipes once. Also, the radio has a preset on-volume you can set. The side mirrors are heated and the glove compartment has AC, or heat, if you want. I can also open all windows without using the key if the car is unlocked by pressing and holding the drivers window switch. If I press auto up while I'm parking and take out the key, the window will continue to close until I open the door. I paid $14,000 brand new.
Verrückter Schakal I’m just saying your claims are confusing and don’t make sense. How can you call the c8 cramped and like the c7? How big are you?? As a 6’1 dude I fit just fine. Wondering if you could even fit in any other sports car.
Great video. Just so you know Doug, Lincoln’s don’t read the street signs to know how fast to go. It knows the speed limit using the navigation system. It’s a great feature that my wife and I love. We can have our vehicle tell us we are going 10 MPH over the speed limit.
4:20 My 2005 Acura TL has this same feature, just hold the unlock to open and turn the key to lock to close all windows... It's amazing how such a simple thing that is so easy for manufacturers to do is still set as a 'luxury feature' on modern cars. My buddy's Mk4 golf GTI did the same thing.
Yep. Honda CRV has the rear seat drop feature. Most Fords in the last several years have configurable courtesy wipe. The list goes on. That doesn't make this a non-luxury vehicle. It's very nice and should compete well. It just makes Doug's note of quirks a little quirky.
VAG had this function 4 over 30 years the 1988 Audi 90 i had had it, that this function even worked on that car was sick, it had full roll Cage and 2.2 turbo engine pushing around 800 whp still that function was working
It’s great that they are using the Corsair name again. For those not in the know, the Corsair was a European Ford four door saloon launched in the early 60’s. Think of it as the Mondeo from the 60’s
I have a 2020 Lincoln Aviator and ALL the controls are the same as the Corsair. You didn't mention the monochrome exterior paint scheme. Thank You! Another GREAT review as ALWAYS!!

4:00 I have this built into my Volvo V70 R through aftermarket CFE+! Really nifty feature, opening the windows with the key. Can't wait for summer :)
You could do that on Mercedes cars in the 90s.
4:10 my 23 years old Audi A3 has comfort opening and closing of all windows...
Its an audi thing
@@hanro7430 not only Audi, all VAG vehicles have this option
I was going to say I could do this 10 years ago with my VW CC
Wanna cookie?
BootlegScarce :0 Yeah it’s a Euro thing. Have a 98 S class and a early 2000s Mini both have this feature.
17:57 This is how the audi Q5 and Q7 have worked since they were first introduced
Yea so?
Doug, Crazy Ford "Aspire" t-shirt! You are truly one in a million my friend! 😂😂🤣
The “THIS” gets more and more aggressive 😂😂
It's started to sound like a hiss.
Your comment is beginning to be almost as persistent as Doug's "THISSS"
I checked your past comments: you commented this exact comment twice before. Don't be a lazy turd.
Zephyrus do something about it
Delius Lyndon 🤣
That thing doesn’t look that little.
Right? It looks like 2 times bigger than most small SUVs and 3 times bigger than most crossovers 😂
Looks like a q7
@@_LEONKING_ Its the replacement for the MKC. It's pretty small.
That's what she said 😆
The key thing with the windows is on all VAG vehicles or almost all of them
My 2002 Focus has it 🤣 I was suprised he even mentioned that as feature
My Honda has that too. I had no idea I could do that until a cashier at a gas station I went to told me about it, and he blew my mind
Most european, EU and UK cars have the same. As well as most Japanese and Korean luxury cars.
Mercedes cars do it too!
VAG vehicles, huh?
Doug, I think more cars do the keyfob-window trick than you think. My brother learned about it on his Honda. For the heck of it, I tried it on my 2011 Chrysler and it too lowered the windows. I use this a ton in the summer, great feature. Not sure what other cars do this, but the fact that I'd been driving the car for years without knowing makes me think there may be a lot more out there.
I just bought a Corsair...

who is excited for doug to review the C8?
Me! Me!
Never will happen

Simrat Preet he somehow doc it
Simrat Preet someone got their dose of drug’s, eh Mark!
I'm not even watching his stupid score, "this is best interior I've ever been in and it gets a 6 out of 10."
I believe the "little donut thing" was the image of the first recorded black hole
“THISSSSSSSS” vibrated my phone at the lowest volume
Me when Doug mentioned the Turbocharged engines:
"Those are Ecoboost Twin Scroll Engines, Doug..."
Isn't the 2.3L the same engine as in the ecoboost Mustang?
Ecobust
Twin scroll is a superficial feature. Its just a single turbo with a exhaust propeller and intake propeller.
In fact EVERY TURBO IS A TWIN SCROLL!
@@zk96 Yes and it should be able to get boosted to 310 or 330 with Mustang performance pack.
Now that's an old school 60's name. Good job!
"THIS" is not a C8 Corvette.
@@__The_Real_V__ watchu got against the C8 mate?
@@__The_Real_V__ Spoken like someone who has not sat in, nor driven it, unlike your claims.
Verrückter Schakal I’m just saying your claims are confusing and don’t make sense. How can you call the c8 cramped and like the c7? How big are you?? As a 6’1 dude I fit just fine.
Wondering if you could even fit in any other sports car.
Verrückter Schakal “(edited)” wow.
Verrückter Schakal Yeah you edited it after I called you out on it, it’s hilarious. What a snowflake.
impressive interior i must admit.
By the end of 2022: "Thisssssssssssss"

10020 Doug Demuro: Thisssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
Is there any RGB lighting?
Yes
Xd
19:11 I was thinking just that when I saw the picture of the Lexus previously in the video
I like it
Ohhhh my entry level Volkswagen Polo has the remote window control, VW call it Summer Mode. At least I have a luxury brand feature in my cheap car 😂
Yep. Honda CRV has the rear seat drop feature. Most Fords in the last several years have configurable courtesy wipe. The list goes on.
That doesn't make this a non-luxury vehicle. It's very nice and should compete well. It just makes Doug's note of quirks a little quirky.
VAG had this function 4 over 30 years the 1988 Audi 90 i had had it, that this function even worked on that car was sick, it had full roll Cage and 2.2 turbo engine pushing around 800 whp
still that function was working
It’s great that they are using the Corsair name again. For those not in the know, the Corsair was a European Ford four door saloon launched in the early 60’s. Think of it as the Mondeo from the 60’s
It was also a Chevy here in America
My 2000 Lincoln LS did this and it was THE BIGGEST party trick in Highschool.
I'm looking into one of these for my grandma, she really likes it.
CrimsonStang that’s over kill
@@dark7443 she has a Lexus and wants another midsize luxury crossover

@ good thing it isn't sarcasm.
Dude, good for you!
Buick is starting to add the keyless keypad on some models however you have to pay extra for the feature.
Hmm 3:49 our 2012 Focus does this and its such a simple thing that i tought every other car would also have it!
My 2016 Audi A3 does that too, but only to open. I can stick the key into a keyhole to close them though.
My 2002 Focus has that...
Most cars do.
I have a 2020 Lincoln Aviator and ALL the controls are the same as the Corsair. You didn't mention the monochrome exterior paint scheme. Thank You! Another GREAT review as ALWAYS!!
I am genuinely impressed by Lincolns new models. Their interiors have very small luxurious touches that seperate a normal brand from a true premium brand. As a German, I wish Lincoln in Europe! They would sell like hot cakes if they offered it as a Diesel or Hybrid
