Build trusses onsite with a pattern on the subfloor. Use plywood gussets cut onsite too.
Such enthusiasm in your personality!
🤣
You can absolutely design vaulted ceilings and attic living spaces with trusses.
Thank you for the detailed explanation.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
Thank you 😊
Dude could be a ventriloquist. 😂
LMAO! 😂
Do you think speaking about walking on trusses vs rafters would have been an important piece of information or storage of items on trusses vs rafters? Or am I wrong in assuming that you should never walk on trusses or store any items?
Truss uplift is a big disadvantage and I see tons of uplift causing drywall issues in North Texas. If you go truss, you have to allow for movement. Truss promoters never talk about this.
Not true that trusses give you less space. Scissor trusses, parallel chord gable trusses, etc, give you cathedral ceilings without heavy timbers and if you want attic space, attic trusses.
Can you get attic trusses in place of rafters, or vaulted ceiling or scissor trusses there? I used to work at a truss plant and built plenty of them. How are rafters better than attic trusses?
Ask the code inspector and the fire department about lightweight construction as it applies to building fires. Some codes now require some buildings to have a sign indicating that the building has lightweight/truss construction.

He's just looking at his script off camera! 😆
Nobody ever talks about the need for a crane and that additional cost.
I feel like you were holding a giggle while explaining this for some reason
Which system gives you a more flat roof?
Neither, its not the system that provides a flat roof its the construction process
Rafters are way better. Why would you not want to use attic space for storage or more?
This guy is AI
Need more illustration. Not just talking.
How about ol dude with the chainsaw wearing booty shorts?
