    Are you struggling with sleep in the middle of the night? Do you find yourself wide awake and unable to fall asleep? In this video, we discuss the prototypical recommendation for those who are struggling with sleep. After about 30 minutes of being awake, it is recommended that you get out of your bed and go to a different room. Doing something like reading a book or listening to a podcast can help you relax and fall asleep faster. Avoid eating as it trains your brain to wake up. The reason for this is because if you start to spend a lot of time awake in your bed, your brain is an incredibly associative device and very quickly it will start to learn that this thing called your bed is this place where I’m always awake.     Fascinating - I am watching this in the middle of the night, now awake for 2 1/4 hours and worrying about being tired for work later.

    I always put on a sleep story on the calm app. It almost always works. Before I found that I would go sleep on the couch. Changing locations could work very well also

    I listen to Michael Sealey on YT. He has helped me greatly. From staying awake for four hours to going to sleep within 30 minutes.

    I live on my bed pretty much. Eat, play computer, do work, be on my phone. I very very rarely struggle to fall asleep on it either 😅 I sleep like a log and can switch off in 10 minutes straight 😂

    Make sense, that is what I do but only in bed as going to another room is a breaker of a night sleep against your goal to go back to sleep again.

    When i go to sleep where ever when ever its not gonna take longer then 5 minutes.
    I usually chill in my bed for the most bc theres where the big nice tv is😂.
    Still no problems waking up.
    Going to work next day is the problem😂

    Use the Military sleeping method. Lay straight and relax your muscles.
    To know they’re relaxed, you can tense them all then relax, that’s how you know.. lay still and fall asleep quick

    So you don’t want to eat a whole meal but sometimes just a little snack and some water, my carbonated, bubbly water, and some chips and guacamole or pico de gallo or just some kind of tasty treat. As long as it’s a treat and not a meal I can go back and knock out.

    Its amazing in the army you could fall asleep on a rock in 15 seconds and when you get out sleep becomes a thing of the past

    If you are a Christian,ask the Lord for his sweet sleep and protect your mind from the enemy. In your own words. And I wake up the next morning,has been working for 30years. Don’t know if it will work if you don’t know Christ Jesus as Savior.

    this is silly. If you wake up in the middle of the night, this is natures way to teach you the importance of meditation. Meditate, if you wake in the night. Enjoy Peace Of Mind :)

    Don't eat?... It's starchy carbohydrates that raises serotonin which is responsible for deep sleep so my mentor recommended to eat starchy carbohydrates and don't immediately sleep after you eat.. Give it time to dijust..
    Do things like the man recommended you to do in this video.. Read books..
