@@IdeasInspiration I just realized something about this topic. Idk if you’ve ever heard of mewing, but it’s based on proper tongue posture. Dr. Mew is a man that coined the term after he discovered the connection to the tongue and facial bone structure, and developed a technique to gain proper tongue posture. Part of the way it affects our face is by causing our breathing to change and it can also cause a change in jaw size and shape, along with even shifting our teeth. It’s crazy, but he has visual evidence to back up his claims. Anyways, the reason I bring this up is because I think tongue posture may play a role here in someone’s facial features. Along with other things like where they hold tension in their face. I think a persons mental and emotional states could influence the amount of tension in different parts of the tongue and face, and that alone would be enough to make their face change, if held consistently over time. That could explain why some people who are more aggressive tend to have a wider jaw, because they could be putting pressure on certain areas that are causing it to expand like that. Maybe the adrenaline causes them to change how they breathe and makes them clench their jaws, causing their jaws to expand like that. It’s really interesting to me, because it seems there could be a crossover between orthotropics and face reading. Let me know what your thoughts are about this, and if you’ve even known about this stuff already. Thank you for the opportunity to reply to this . The question on plastic surgery is actually the most common question during my lectures. Firstly, plastic surgery does not alter the entire face; etc very few people meddle in the shape of the ears and skull. Secondly, plastic surgery actually helps us to read people better because, just like the way they choose their clothes, their clothes express more of themselves. Similarly, how they decided to restructure their face speeds up what their face should eventually be. Some people like it to look kinder, and in the case of Michael Jackson, he wanted to look more mysterious.
This reminds me of one of the early criminologists, Lombroso, who thought he could identify criminals and non-criminals by their faces. Criminals were believed to have close- knit eyebrows, big noses, etc. All nonsense, of course. If you could really judge a person's character by their face, the world wouldn't be in such the mess it is today. Ted Bundy is a good example of this, he was handsome, charming, educated, etc. yet a sadistic psychopath underneath it all.
I agree that most of it isn’t based in any reality , peoples features like eyes shape and lip shape etc mostly come from pure genetics. That said, sometimes you can get an idea of someone’s personality by looking at their face-it’s not the features themselves tho, it’s more like where they keep muscle tension , and certain lines of their face due to constant repetition of expressions. Like I have noticed that people that store a lot of tension in their jaw seem to be more tense, passionate (maybe aggressive sometimes). People that store a lot of tension between their brows/forehead area tend to worry a lot or be sad often. People w crows feet tend to be more jovial etc etc. So it’s not the features themselves that tell the story, it’s more like you’re able to read the emotion stored in their face (if that makes sense).
Being handsome doesn’t mean you can’t have the facial features that are related to criminals. This isn’t about attractive versus ugly. It’s just pointing out the differences in facial features. He added images of the twins with different faces and the girl whose face changed as she got older, and as her personality changed. So it seems there is some merit to this. Ted Bundy actually did have some “telling” features, despite being considered attractive. He had a larger jaw, round eyes, low eyebrows, and tight lips. Not saying you can know for certain who someone is by the features, but I think there is some truth to people who are similar having similar facial qualities.
Exactly.this all bs. Someone can change their face through the years just by exercise or losing weight. Having a certain type of teeth indicate just your hygiene and if you could afford a dentist and maybe braces.
The secret is to take care of your happiness. Limit your time in negative emotions each day, and jump out of them immediately when you're in the area of anger, rage, and unforgiveness.

We elected to act under a birth certificate title by taking our fathers name in vain. We were given a name. The state joined it to our family name to create an assumed name called legal. 18:20 wow this was powerful. I never thought about the impact of a person's character, values, and philosophy on their physical appearance esp their face, but this makes so much sense! Indeed there are people who look the same after years and there are those who change a lot. It's so cool to know that the physical change we notice is indicative of inner changes! Wow 🤯 thank you, wonderful video and good sense of humor

I love how he uses profiling with a good connotation. He’s absolutely right people are afraid to “judge a book by its cover”. But humans maximize our easy, fast-thinking intuition by cultivating pattern recognition- might as well start from what’s simple and easy first, and then become skeptical after that.

I feel like I’ve always noticed stuff like this, but didn’t have a way to explain it. You just gave that to me. I wonder how this revelation will change my face 😂
does that means if you change your personality to talk more and let people inside more easily then your facial lips will become fuller hence no need for lip filler botox ?
I won't say all, but at least some of this is a bunch of bs. For example i'm very much a right-brain kind of person but my eyebrows are low with the intense look.
I can see what effect this is going to have on people now they are going to be going around judging people by their faces lol yet having no idea what the heck they are on about but thinking and believing they are right
Division for the left and the right part of the brain is not the most accurate interpretation. While certain parts of the brain are responsible for certain functions when we are emotionally and intellectually active, neurons are activated in many different parts of our brain.
Thank you, Grace. You are spot on. None of these signs should be read on their own; that would be too simplistic. So, I reiterate a similar point in my workshops: You need to consider many other factors and viewpoints, including the first countenance.
I'm about half way through the video at the time I'm writing this, but I'd like to suggest that you leave the pictures up while you're sharing your observations, it'll be easier for us to follow what you're saying better. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Fascinating however my concern is that human primary features are highly influenced by their race. I'm full blood Asian with almond shaped eyes. Based on this video, are Asians primarily left brain? Though stereotypes say Asians are book smart, I'm not book smart. I suck in math and science but have slanty small lids. 😆 If fuller lips represent being more talkative and social, are African Americans more social than Caucasians who primarily have thin lips? The video mentions high nose bridges to have traits similar to being determined and courageous. Are Middle Eastern more determined and courageous versus Asians who primarily have flat noses? 🤔 One woman I used to work with had full lips, high eyebrows, and big eye lids. She was extremely arrogant, had bad attitude, bossy, power tripping, less patient with me versus with others, and standoffish to me. I'm extremely out going, willing to befriend anyone, and took initiative to help anyone in need. She never gave me the benefit of doubt to open up to me nor treat me with respect yet she did with her buddies and supervisors. I wasn't in her work "clique". She got away with her bad behaviors towards me due to being favored by her supervisors. She had poor work ethics and always got the good work assignments versus myself who put 200% into the job yet always got the undesired assignments. 😡 I know this reflects poor leadership and a toxic work environment (I quit thankfully) but she has the facial features of someone who's open, communicative, and nice. 🤔
very good observation. At the expert level, we do teach you to compensate, for African lips, east Asian eyelids (i.e. korean), thin upper American lips, and use other features to do an overall reading.
You’re genuinely racist to assume races have big features or certain features cuz they are not your beauty standards lol what is considered big lips to you won’t be the same in our black community and vice versa
Thank you. This is a fantastic question because, at the point of doing this video, I am still learning and gathering knowledge, and right now I have a stand that there are some default modes on some ethnicities for example, East Asians, like Koreans, have smaller beady eyes, and by default most Africans will have thicker lips and Indians have thicker eyebrows so I typically do not read this as a sign when I see them however I will read when it's the reverse for example if I see an African with thin lips that would make it an exciting read.
Thank you for the encouragement. I have uploaded many other similar videos on this subject on TH-cam, if you are interested. Search Christian Chua Face reading.
I am not very agreeing about eyebrows : I am very friendly and empathic while I have lower eyebrows. ( also I am a little bit shy and reserve, but I am very empathic and friendly with people ). I also meet manny people with high eyebrows who aren’t empathic at all and who are not very friendly.
That's definitely possible. Normally, we do see the whole face rather than in fragments. But impossible to teach this in 9mins. However, the full course is available on the link
Because this is fun but not accurate. He gives examples for eyelids….what about ethnicity?! Asiatics have in great percentage no eyelids visible compare to caucasians. Plus a whole lot of other stuff 😮
Calling out somebody lost someone they care is very shady. Think about a person 40-50 years, what are the chances they lost someone they care, that's extremely likely. Because older people will experience losses, that's generally how human work. Can you name anyone on this planet, 40-50 year old person never experience losses???

I don't agree the left side is your personal side and the right side professional side. I have scoliosis and I believe that idiopathic scoliosis is due to the suppression of one's emotions which is a right-brain thing. The medulla oblongata in the brainstem contains a region called the pyramids, where most of the body's movement-related nerves cross over. Emotions in the brain affect the right side of the face more than the left. Repressing my painful emotions due to childhood trauma froze the right facial muscles into an asymmetrical distortion. My entire right side beginning with the right eye is not as alive as the left. It is only since I've been working on releasing my emotions has my right side of the face become more expressive.
The facial features you have influence how people interact and expect you to be. Which impacts on how you are. You become how you look. Logical but odd…So if you can hack your epigenetics and body language early on who you want to be, you can maybe help optimise who you are / want to be…But so much is how people read you. Think about those who are unfortunate looking in some way. They have often become what others think over time. Think about those who have scars or accidents or illnesses. It’s a feedback loop of biases and experiences…also much of this is not accurate on a cold read. It can get a bit into astrology. It’s not an exact science. You can be surprised by people’s temperament despite how they look.

I can see what effect this is going to have on people now they are going to be going around judging people by their faces lol yet having no idea what the heck they are on about but thinking and believing they are right
You wouldn’t like what I can read from your face. Just sayin’
He's very friendly i love watching him so interesting.
I watch how FBI 🕵read people i find boring but this is interesting
🤗☺☺☺🤗
Division for the left and the right part of the brain is not the most accurate interpretation. While certain parts of the brain are responsible for certain functions when we are emotionally and intellectually active, neurons are activated in many different parts of our brain.
Thank you, Grace. You are spot on. None of these signs should be read on their own; that would be too simplistic. So, I reiterate a similar point in my workshops: You need to consider many other factors and viewpoints, including the first countenance.
Is this real or just made up? There's no way to confirm.
I'm about half way through the video at the time I'm writing this, but I'd like to suggest that you leave the pictures up while you're sharing your observations, it'll be easier for us to follow what you're saying better. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Thank you, i will inform the video editor
Excellent! Who also took out their phone and went selfie mode and looked at your face midway through the video?
😂😂

You gotta be kidding.
You don't look your age at all!
I thought you are at early 30's.
Thank you. YOur mood affects our looks. Lines appear when you are sad and depressed. Take care of your emotions, stay happy
Fascinating we want more ! Thank you so much!
Thank you for the encouragement. I have uploaded many other similar videos on this subject on TH-cam, if you are interested. Search Christian Chua Face reading.
It's be so interesting if we could see all the different possible versions of ourselves based on different gene expressions.
Love your profile pic
I didn’t cringe listening to you! Singaporean accent still, but the type worth listening to!
🤭🇸🇬❤️
What’s the matter with Singaporean accent? Also, his accent isn’t that strong for me almost neutral
I thought he was going to say scotts ears are sticking out more because he listens better...
How about a square face like spongebob has? Haha.. just joking!! I just Hit the like button! 👍
If the person wears makeup, or did plastic surgery, would it matter?
Christian, this is so interesting. Love this video, am taking away great ideas for practical use. Thanks
I am glad!
How old am I 54😂😂😂😂😂
Ladies, massive jaw can be sign of overly aggressive man.
"Face is the index of the mind."
Calling out somebody lost someone they care is very shady. Think about a person 40-50 years, what are the chances they lost someone they care, that's extremely likely. Because older people will experience losses, that's generally how human work. Can you name anyone on this planet, 40-50 year old person never experience losses???
It balances close to racism. You know, blue eyes blond hair. But on the other hand we have make up of the make up artists...
You're very amazing. Everything you say is so true and so right. Basically : miserable face = miserable mind. Happy face = cheerful personality. X
PPS… my YT profile pic is the only pic of me out there in the world… I do not even have baby / school pictures of me.. uh huh it’s almost as if I wasn’t born but instead landed on this here weird planet Earth !!
Make of that what you will bubba

Peace Out !!
i am from the philippines, i was full of curiousity and was wondering if u have filipino blood while watching this until u mentioned & described Corazon aquino who was the former lady president of the phil, i realized this is so much of a crap😂
Face is dependent on genetics and race........ Cannot generalized that people from east Asian are pragmatic than with people who have double eyelid......
Need scientific proof for this otherwise its just like the Nazi's deciding traits. And what about cultural differences in faces?
Psychobable to me.
E.g Some lovely people can look hard.
Helen
PS.. I dunno you know cos you kinda have that wizardy look about you… mostly on your right side though mind hahah yeh I’m a quick learner bro hahah Just so you know !!
Ciao ;)’
Haven't listened, but if I judge only from your face, I would say Tony Robbins wannabe. Now, do you really want that?
I love this guy. He’s funny and direct. He makes this video enjoyable whereas other videos out there with the same topic makes me sleepy! It’s awesome to learn this and entertaining. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
😱😳 54! No way!!!! Wow, wow, amazing, 34 yes, 54..Wow 😃✨️✨️✨️🏆🎉🎉🎉.
Lost me when he said Netanyahu was a good husband….. currently carrying out a genocide…. Face of evil
I love his personality
I have double eyelid and yet I am pragmatic...obviously is not perfect science
He lost me at his analysis of bb. Calling a psychopath pragmatic/affectionate 🤦♀️
How can a child be imprisoned? This is illegal, inhumane and wrong.
All will have some features of. Monkey 🐒 based. On Darwin s theory 😂😂😂
