Ladies, go out, date, meet people!!!!! Read the scriptures, build a business, but don't stand still behind closed doors waiting for it to happen, that's self assasination .
I think some people in the comments are confused, so let me get this straight about what I understood, she isn’t saying to go sleep with your boyfriend, she is saying you CAN be attracted TO each other sexually, because in marriage you will obviously have sexual relations, she realizes that many Christian women marry Christian men because of ONLY his spirituality and then what happens is the marriage is just broken because it’s not gonna be intimate, also what I understood is that during the dating stage, you will be tested and there will be hard times and you should talk about boundaries about abstinence, just enjoy the process of dating and get to know the person. What she *didn’t* say: -Have sex before marriage - don’t look for good Christian men - Only think about abstinence What she *is* saying: - look for good Christian men (that you ARE attracted to (mutually)) - be abstinent during dating period BUT get to know the person - it will be hard but it’s a test
It's sad that only FEW if us REALLT got the message. One reason I left the CHURCH because of alllllllllllllll the judgemental women....they run in groups and packs and clicks.
Thank you..because I'm like it can't be this hard to comprehend. "He that have an ear" but people want to be mad at nothing lol. Only the hit dogs will holler lmbo.
YES!!!! I have always said this about how the church does things. We do not teach our youth HOW to date, consequently, we grow up not knowing how to date. The church focuses on "fornication" , telling youth to abstain, at least that is how it was when I was growing up. As a result, I saw hundreds of couples in my church get married so that they could be intimate, only to find that they did not have the tools to sustain a healthy, loving relationship. The Bible Belt has the highest rate of divorce in the country. No wonder!!! We do not know how to cultivate our own minds first, understanding who we are, BEFORE we start dating and so our brokenness attracts more brokenness. And, we wonder why Christians often have the worse marriages. As for over-spiritualizing dating....you hit the nail on the head. Okay. I will end my comments now. Thank you so much for being so authentic.
Marriage isn't assigned by God in the Bible anyway. Read starting from Genesis. You will not see the instutution of marriage defined anywhere. God did not Marry Adam and Eve. Neither did Jesus marry anyone when he was on earth. In fact, he advised people can not marry if it doesn't suit them. It's a MAN MADE system. And what's man made is prone to collapse at one point in time.
You are saying everything I’ve been thinking for the past 2 years! I stopped going to single conferences and started focusing on MYSELF! And I have experienced so much growth since then.
Waiting is good. In the middle, you can focus on your goal & purpose. I am a man, I stayed single and virgin until the age of 35. I focused on my purpose and now I am married to my beautiful wife. It is possible to wait with purity (both men and women). We go by faith, not by sight.
Church. And. Tabernacle. 😩😩 This video has me in my feelings because long term abstinence has often been a struggle for me and church culture has me feeling like an alien, especially as a woman!
Danita get you some pipe if need be. Do it respectfully and with someone who respects you. Giving up the goodies won't make him lose respect for you. Don't let your preacher with his third wife tell you 'YOU CAN NOT'. Know God for yourself. Study your bible. Stop letting them scam you with their books. Most importantly give it to someone with a good heart.
But, that's funny how the woman has to remain abstinent for such a lengthy period of time while church men do whatever comes natural and no one is preaching on that double standard. It's so sad how much pressure the church and society places on women in order for them to be 'qualified' as wife material. smh
It took one book and one conference to show me that the main elements of American Christianity is all about manipulation, fluff, and facades. No one talks about healing, deliverance, hidden sin/struggles, etc. I let go of my list years ago and started to look at my history of relationships, childhood, my views, and recognized I need healing as a single. And yes, we have to know who we are first(likes, dislikes, craziness) before linking up with someone. That's what we need. One of the few realest videos out here.
The realest comment ever. Christianity especially for me was very focused on relationships and dating, marriage etc. Ffs, learn your mistakes from your past relationships that's why I decided to just go celibate and learn. Just learn from my past. A video I appreciate
FINALLYYYYYY SOMEONE TELLING THE TRUTH. unfortunately I made the mistake of completely repressing my sexuality during dating and engagement to my husband because we felt pressured by the church to behave in a certain way as leaders. After we got married we were unable... UNABLE to be intimate. Now we are divorced because of the lack of intimacy. This needs to be talked about. 🙏🏼 THANK YOU
EssTee of course! I hope this helps someone. We met, I believe we fell in love and were passionate at first even though we weren’t sleeping together. His family accused us of premarital sex (which was none of their business in the first place) but they were very controlling and used The bible as a form of control. They even went as far as to say I had A Jezabel spirit 🤦🏻♀️ it was hurtful things like this that made me fear rejection so much so that i just wanted to prove myself to them to gain acceptance. But in doing that i suppressed ALL of my sexual feelings and would barely even kiss my fiancé. Soon my attraction faded almost completely. And when we got married I could not turn it back on . I associated sex with him with being “wrong” . And i was conditioned to say no. It absolutely destroyed our marriage. I was in Youth Ministry at the time and I didn’t feel that the messages about sex were very helpful. All the pastors ever say is that sex is sin and make you feel guilty for even having a sex drive. They don’t equip young people with tools to control their urges but at the same time see sex or their own sexuality in a healthy manner. This is a HUGE problem in the church.
EssTee no my husband did not struggle with reviving his affections however...I believe his struggle was the opposite... he became a sex addict and actually began cheating on me with both men and women. Yes you read that right. He blamed me for not being able to be intimate with him very often. So many different topics to address here but I will stick to answering your specific questions. What I think the church should aim to do is exactly what Rebecca is doing: stop fronting. Stop over spiritualizing. Be HONEST about sexual attraction. All my Pastor’s wife (who was a virgin when she got married) told me was that if I waited until marriage, the sex would be much better. HOW WOULD SHE KNOW?? There’s more to it than just waiting until marriage for intimacy to be fostered. that’s like saying, “go East, and you’ll end up in New York City.” 🤷🏻♀️ i was not a virgin when I got married btw. I simply wanted to to what was right as told to me by the church this time. The church must stop using shaming as a form of controlling sexual urges. It WILL backfire. Yes i think a good idea would be encouraging innocent affection but also employing common sense boundaries like hey maybe it’s not a good idea to be in a hot tub with a bottle of wine alone together. I LOVE what Rebecca said about couples should almost not be able to keep their hands off if each other. This gives people the sense that attraction is a great thing not something to be put away all the way up to the wedding day. People are not robots you can just turn switches on and off. We are creatures habit and highly able to be conditioned. We just need to form positive associations around sex and KEEP IT REAL with the younger generation. And also don’t make sex a bigger sin than anything else.. omg don’t even get me started. But christians have a way of minimizing certain sins (let’s say gossiping for example) and overly shaming other sins like premarital sex. The same pastor who told me to “honor my body and keep it Holy” was like 200 pounds overweight 😑 every church is different but in the one i grew up in, there was little to no guidance on how to foster intimacy or navigate through dating and engagement. Instead of being soooo paranoid about falling into lust i think we should be equally diligent about protecting the gift God gave us which is the ability to experience and enjoy physically intimacy.
EssTee thank you sis, it’s my pleasure to share my experience especially if it can help anyone. I have really wanted to start a blog or something so thank you so much for the encouragement. God will use the brokenness and bring beauty out of ashes! What I know for sure is that God’s plan accounts for our mistakes and choices. Be blessed by the peace that knowing he is in control brings. I don’t have it figured out but he does. I trust him. I know you do too. We will be at the right place at the right time to cross paths with the right person!
What do you do while you’re waiting?? FOCUS ON JESUS!!! ❤️ But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. ❤️
So what does that *actually means* - the scripture YOU wrote❓❓❓❓ I can recite scriptures too, BUT if YOU have no define UNDERSTANDING that "knowing" what You are reading vs. Doing\Living that LIFE .... Is a totally, different thing! #Discernment #Self-Improvement "Words are words, I have LIFE!!"
One of the realest videos I’ve ever seen from a pastor’s wife at that! Thank you for keeping it REAL!!!!! It is OK to be a sexual woman and Christian. There’s a way to control it without losing it. Love this so much!
I was told several times by women that God told me I was their husband, yet God never revealed it to me when I sought the Lord in prayer. I had to smoke tires in the parking lot and never look back.
If she had sense would she be walking around ashamed to look her afro race ?put an afro wig on and tell me how you feel ?foolish right!? Lmao common sense is destroyed by delusion
117k views and only 5k likes. Nobody wants to hear the truth. It's SUCH a shame women lost your voice in the dating space. You are SUCH an amazing gem. I've only recently found you and have been binging your videos. Will be buying your book as well on my own journey to becoming a wife. THIS is the content women need to hear. Thank you!
If men are suppose to approach, what is the woman doing to be found?.... women wanted equality but don't want the difficulties and responsibilities that come with that... but it also means that men are not obligated to approach women, they are not obligated to pay for the dates, nor to ask a woman on a date, to hold the door for a woman, to remove their jacket and place in on a puddle for a woman to walk... to even give their seat to a pregnant woman, men are not obligated to do those things anymore because women wanted equality...
@@JohnSmith-pl4sf you definitely need to go educate yourself on what they’re actually talking about when they say “equality”! They don’t mean that men are to abscond from their roles as protector and provider. It’s about empowering women and giving them the rights and opportunities that they have long been denied! Think of the teenage girl in Africa who is forced to marry instead of being educated like her brothers are simply because she’s a woman. Think of the numerous women who can’t travel, drive or even breathe without the permission of a man! The world is bigger than “dates” or “closing doors”. You may not understand how much women are being deprived of basic human rights because I’m guessing you live in a 1st world country but you need to do more research. Open your eyes
@@JohnSmith-pl4sfequality meaning treated as human beings NOT second class citizens or objects. The fact that you don't seem to know that and instead think that it's because we want to take y'all place/role as men is elementary and sad. 🙄
Truth!!! I am a woman of faith and I was lead by the spirit and ran into my"Boaz". I believed that my husband would be where I would be so that's still God allowing us to align ourselves. My husband told me I was his wife within a week. Guess where we met, the laundry mat... Not the church. I also took time to filter out voices from the world! Be blessed 💞
Whoa! I never thought of it this way. I'm a single woman who is in her early thirties and I desire to be married myself. Admittedly, I've "read" (i.e. listened via Audible) to Devon Franklin's book "The Wait," listened to sermon after sermon about being single and "preparing" yourself for marriage...and I can honestly say and agree that I'm all burned out when it comes to this type of information. It can be very frustrating as a single Christian woman to constantly hear and be told to wait for your Boaz. It's embarrassing but at times I feel as though I'm still a "greenhorn" when it comes to dating. Too often in church, we are told to "flee fornication" and to not have sex outside of marriage. I do believe that practicing abstinence and celibacy has benefits, but since we (the church) focus so much on preventing pre-marital sex we forget to focus on teaching both men and women on how to interact with one another and actually cultivate meaningful relationships (either platonic or romantic) with the opposite sex.
And they waited but still caught a divorce issue. It just proves hiw over spiritualizing relationships/marriage can actually be harmful in the long run
I agree. But I think that it's possible for a man to have a heart for God and a yearn for who He is without being called to ministry lol. It's completely possible for a woman to want a man that is in love with God and not want a pastor. The two aren't synonymous. And being a regular man about your family isn't the opposite of being a man chasing after God.
hope sparks yep, I think the really religious women should be able to meet these holy men in church. There must be many of them there. I’ll personally pass on really religious women because I’m not so holy as they are and have no desire to date that type. They wouldn’t like me anyway because I wouldn’t fit the holy standards they expect.
Latosha Curley the men are here. Few and far between. What you see now is the result of approximately 25 years of the effeminization of our youths.(do you remember Teletubbies peewee Herman and things of such a nature). All of the immorality so prevelent on television, in the music industry, the castration of the black church by accepting that 501c3 exempt status ... what did you expect?
If you gotta ask, then they are avoiding you. You got the golden ticket. So why no man want to cash that ticket? The guys you ignored moved on thats where they went. They got over rejection and moved on. After you've been scorned now you want thier attention back. Now they either married or mgtow lol. The chains that bound woman have broken, success is almost garenteed to woman nowadays but what was once so easy has become damn near impossible. The question was, "Where all the good men gone"? The answer is female equality. What women want isn't part of our nature anymore, just like what we want isn't important anymore. So now woman have to pay for drinks, pay for dates, pay for time. Roles have reversed and yall are literally complaining lol. You big dog now but only ones listen to you are kids. A million men can tell you why and with the exact same answer and yall will still ask?
@@dominicjones3908 So if women were subordinate again everything would be fixed? why is it that men hate to see women shine? what's the point of a marriage where a man does not uplift his wife and want the absolute best for her(and before you say anything, yes, a woman should uplift her spouse as well)? i can never seem to get an answer to this question.
" But if you keep ignoring your pain, your issues, your bad attitude, your controlling nature then you're not going to be attracting love" SPEAK ON ITTTTTTTT! The cultivation of any happily ever after starts with YOU!
You need to pray and ask GOD to show you where you need to work on yourself . Ask GOD to make you the person the other person needs and ask GOD to show you that person . That person will love GOD as much or more than you. Accept nothing less. This is the path lead me on and I am a man loving GOD and my wife.
As a young Christian woman this video gave me a sense of relief because I always thought that I had to find a man or be the woman who was super spiritual. Now I realize that if I’m not super spiritual, my husband probably won’t be either and that really opens up a lot more options.
Girl, this is FIRE! I so so so needed this!! I just got into a dating relationship a few months ago with an amazing man (good friend before)! However I got way too deep in the Christian dating movement if you will, and felt so defeated. I absolutely love my sisters doing the dating movement but I do agree I got overloaded and overspiritualized about it all!! I felt God quicken my soul to stop watching them so much because of this. Not to say they are bad, because they still help people but I agree it was too much for me personally. Thank you for this truth!!
I think alot of people aren't that sexual in their relationships is because alot of people aren't attracted to each other. Some aren't confident with themselves and they use God and Christianity as their shield or crutch.
Anthony Lew there are articles and ppl (I know some) who talk about how they weren’t attracted to their spouses, at 1st. It’s the weirdest thing. They’re all women. All of them.
Hey she was busy getting food for her mother in law and her... Once he expressed the slightest interest in her (he invited her to stay with his workers and not go to another field), she went ahead, made herself beautiful and let him know she was interested. He then did all the culturally appropriate things to have her hand in marriage...
@Jessica LeeAnn I meant she was busy working in the field picking up grains with his workers. That was what poor people did at the time. You had the right to go to someone's field to pick up grains during harvest. Because Naomi and Euth did not have a man to "protect" them, they were poor and depended on that to eat. That's what I meant. When she entered the field her only goal was to work hard so she could eat and bring something to her mom in law. She didn't go to see Boaz. He noticed her and asked about her to his workers then called her and invited her to stay in his field and not go work in other people's field. He said I told my people not to ennoy you and to let you work in peace. He is the one who showed interest first. When Ruth told Naomi about what happened, she instructed her to go and respond to that interest by making herself beautiful and laying at his feet. My point is Boaz showed interest first so I believe we as women must put ourselves out there, work in the field of the Lord and mind our own business until a man show interest. But when the man does show interest, if we are interested too, there is no point in playing hard to get, show interest back and be open to the opportunity. That still doesn't mean you have to pursue the man. Notice when Ruth showed interest, Boaz was the one who met with the elders, called the guy who had marital rights on Ruth, negociated his way thru it and married Ruth. During this time, Ruth stayed calm and let the man do what needed to be done to marry her. This is the balance I hope women in church will understand in practice. Let men pursue, but show interest and encourage them to do so if you're interested too...
I appreciate Rebecca for having a real heart for women, not just showcasing herself to gain groupies for an ego stroke . And also for following the biblical model of instruction (older women teach younger women, etc.). This trend where men chastise women and women chastise men for profit is out of order and ineffective.
Thank you Thank you Thank you! I left my boyfriend because I thought he was not so called spiritual enough, after that, I felt so alone and lost and pretending I was fine and knowing it was breaking my heart, later we reconnected and I have to be real, I feel so happy to be able to reconnect to him! I got tired of hanging around women all the time that did not have a man either, trying to convince myself it was okay, it is time to be real, women was made for the man! It is not good for man or woman to be alone!
Ive had the women I can't keep my hands off of and slept with them only to find out they were vapid and had nothing to offer. Ive had one woman in my life that I couldn't keep my heart off of, and me and her never slept together. Even when she asked me, I said no to it because she was so special to me. It's not that I'm not attracted to her or anything like that, I wanted her so badly. Sometimes, when you really love someone, you see beyond the sex no matter how bad you want them.
Thank You so much for this message. My goodness I told God recently this is it! I have enough information on being single, dating, how to find a spouse etc.from so many different resources until I am overweight mentally. I cannot take another message on this topic. All I can do at this point is apply the knowledge, make myself available and put my trust totally in God. I promised myself that I am no longer purchasing anymore relationship books about being single. I am going to finish the ones I have bought already and that's it. Thank You for your realness here and I so appreciate you hitting all the areas less often discussed in relation to this topic. God Bless you for it. Keep this type of teaching coming!!!
Getta Wright Amen, the most important thing is to trust God and get more confirmation from God not people. Jesus Christ knows who is the best fit for you and things will come together. God got mutiple ways to bring someone together not one way.The best way to get confirmation is prayer and reading the word. Never was into running to a singles ministry for confirmation it can be used, but its not for everyone to be clinging to. Its best to listen to a all around Christian who is preaching the real gospel not focused on relationships only. Jesus and his disciples did not dedicate their whole entire ministries to finding a spouse they breifly talked about singles, marriages, and widows. Their main goal was to save souls. Thats what I do I'm tired of watching ppl post more relationship messages and photos more than the gospel. I do agree with some of what Rebecca is saying not all; however, dating around can lead to developing soul ties especially if thats not your husband. Catching feeling for someone God is not leading you to will cause problems. I dated before as well and it never worked out.
As a Christian women myself I was also sucker into buying thoses TD Jakes books on women issues. I stop buying those books and started going to church more and started reading the Holy Bible on a consistent basis. When you read the holy scriptures from the holy bible God gives you understanding on how to conduct your life. When I got saved and water baptized in the name of Jesus Christ I became more spiritual and I began to discern a lot of men spirits. I thank God!!!! everyday for showing me how to discern people spirits that are good and evil. I am the type of Christian women that doesn't play with men. I don't go to church to find a husband I go to church to worship God and find peace of mind. Beside the church I go to doesn't have any good men anyway. I never been a dating type of women because their aren't many good quality of men where I come from. I am very selective to who I talk with. If I feel the man has bad energy I will not!!!!!!! talk to him. If his energy spirit is good I will talk to him. Women need to get a relationship with God first before they can think about dating or marriage. In the meantime while you are waiting for God best enjoy!!! your singlehood if you are single. Go on vacations, go to the movies, go to dinner with friends etc. I'm single and I ain't waiting for Mr. Right to take me out to dinner, or a movie I am going to take my vacations, my spa trips, buy my own home etc. Life is meant to be enjoyed with or without a man.
Exactly!!! We have learned to idolize the idea of marriage when we need to just focus on our relationship with God ,healing ,and projecting that out. No rushing it no classes just let yourself be guided by the spirit. Doesn't mean don't talk to any men either ,but with that relationship with God being strengthen you will learn to pick the bad weeds out. I agree with most of the things she said but i felt she was promoting sex before marriage which is clear as day in the scriptures that its a sin. I'm not talking down on the books because I did learn more about myself, and healing. The journey is about finding out our purpose and if God sets the desire of marriage in your heart that you trust he will provide someone to fit your plan. Think we as women focus to much on the type of man we want instead of the type of man we need and when we need it and want it. We obsess over a self given timeline. Also think the information in these books is miss read or miss understood because i kno a lot of ministry couples that give great advice on topics between singleness and marriage.. check out REDIFINEDTV AND NIKI WINSTON! Niki has a good video on healing from child hood trauma too divorce and just being happy on your own. :)
My dear Sister if you read the scriptures and interpret correctly then you know you can’t be a natural woman without properly relating to a man. God created woman to create life (physically, emotionally, spiritually, and economically). The term “Waiting on God” is used as a cop out to excuse poor non-existent wife qualities in women who do not want to self-correct deficiencies.
This was everything! I had not dated in forever and as soon as I did the church threw me away. I decided that I was the church and I would be lead exclusively by God and operate in love! That freed me! I still go to church but I realized can't no one at the church tell me whether I'm living my life Right or Not. Only my God can do that! That's why we have conviction. But that's how I feel! Thank you for sharing!!!
I love this video so much cause it's needed! This "purity movement" ideology has some many of us messed up. Thank you for this. I'm so glad to have found your channel.
Yep, and a majority of churches push for people to get married so soon, that they're not able to truly learn about their potential partner. In turn becoming their cell-mate instead soul mate. One pastor I remember told the women to seek the lord and wait to hear from Him before going out to lunch with a man, are you serious. Courtship-Marriage is so damaged.
Be careful what you preach to people.. many will call out the name of the Lord but will not make it into the Gates of Heaven... there are false prophets everywhere... best bet is to search for truth according to His word and His word alone
God spoke of women and men together as one. More women has been leaning towards becoming more spiritual. However, most of the women think they have to do those things alone. It is shameful to see so many relationships, marriages, and families get broken apart due to false prophets.
Tasha Mai okay thank you for this comment! And let me add... folks be careful who you listen to who is preaching to you something that isn’t scriptural. People will preach and they aren’t even a preacher. Shouldn’t even use God’s name if you’re not teaching the word of God. Implying something is just as bad as coming out saying it.
Theres a lot more to it with the statement you just made. Are you suggesting that women should be sexy and cute for men that they have no intentions on being with? One of the biggest problems with young females today is the belief that you ahve to be sexy everywhere that you go in order to "feel confident". In the old days, when divorce was way rare and families stuck together, women would only be sexy for their husbands. Is there something wrong with behavior that keeps the family together?
It’s me Sherry Sexy? How about Godly and separate and Serving Jesus? That is what his word tells us to act. Jesus said not to conform to the ways of the world. But to be renewed by our minds! You’re talking sexy?? That’s what the world teaches women to do! Wake up!!!
There many valid points here but some points where she is wrong. Yes, God made us sexual and lust is the ONLY desire where the Word tells us to FLEE. If it’s not in the right setting, which is in marriage, then you should FLEE. You will date and will have moments where you can’t keep your hands off of each other but someone needs to set the boundary of “no sex”. Period. Attraction is normal and good, but boundaries need to be set. And good men are everywhere; travel and find them. Date and pray on it. Always pray about it and have God guide all your decisions. Also when you are married, you both are ONE. You both discuss the ideas you have for your lives, but the man is head of the household and should lead the vision that you BOTH have for the house, while you as the wife advises him. There truly is a lot of confusion out there but there is no confusion in the Word.
So... the middle two paragraphs of what you wrote are the same as what she said... She didn't advocate having sex before marriage. She just said that the desire should be there. The issue is that some people have little to no attraction or shut down their sexuality altogether, which is unhealthy.
I also think that it's important to make a distinction between healthy sexual desire and lust. Sexual desire both inside or outside of marriage is not sinful... from what I listened to here, this was her point. We label healthy sexual desire as "lust" and say that the only place for sexual desire is in marriage. But if the desire is not there before marriage, it will not just magically appear after marriage. Healthy sexual desires require boundaries. However, a simple desire for sex, which is a God given desire, is not the same as lust. But since the difference between the two is not taught in churches, we often label God given desires as wrong - and therefore shut them down completely.
@@Life.Love.Locs. I'm going to listen to the message again because I didn't hear her promote not having sex before marriage either....all I heard was that we are sexual beings and we shouldn't repress our sexuality so much. But I'll listen again. Thanks.
I have so much that I want to say that I'm speechless. Words can't express how on point and amazing and powerful this video is. Thank you Rebecca. This is everything
You lost me at the celibacy part. It's definitely possible to be in a long term relationship and wait without throwing your sexuality out the window. Not everyone should get married within a year. Wait as long as you can. Know the person etc. Self control so important.
@Ms Phasha, the truth is that many of you women lie about celibacy. Most of you women that keep talking about celibacy secretly masturbate. If you masturbate, that's not celibacy, that's sex with your own self and mind. Its the same thing. I met someone that was saying celibacy, then when I asked if she does masturbate...she started chewing her words and then she admitted. So, women should be realistic...Just say that you wont give the sex until you are sure about him. Stop saying celibacy when you masturbate in the secret...Its hard to do celibacy especially if you are no longer a virgin.
Wonderful. So refreshing to see another woman using the critical thinking skills that God gave her...in the name of Jesus. The business of jumping on every bandwagon actually sets ladies up for depression and confusion. Wonderful observations in your video. Keep up the excellent work!
This video was DEFINITELY something I needed to hear!!!!! I LOVE how you keep it real & how you didn’t sugar coat anything .. I only wish that more females would listen to this type of advice instead of obsessing when their Prince Charming is going to come!!!!! God Bless you
I hate MGTOW, I've read a lot of their posts and it teaches men how to hate women and use/abuse them. Sweetie two wrongs NEVER will make a right and mishandling women and classifying them all alike is what keeps you guys frustrated. B/c as upsetting as it may be, you guys really can't live without a woman b/c God designed it that way. Your problem is you keep dating the wrong ones who b/c they're game and they're bodies are on pt, ya'll keep IGNORING the red flags and date the anyway only to get burnt and then begin to get into these kinds of devilish movements. Just maybe, it's not the women, but the guide you're following to choose your women (going by media selections, your boys and what they think, society....instead of being led by God and your hearts).
Sweet Sugar 101 not all mgtow are what you describe.. I personally practice abstinence/celibacy because I disagree with the abusive ideas such as 'pump and dump'. However modern women are not marryable. Rebecca pope goes on and on explaining the unrealistic expectations of modern women. And btw... I'm not a thug. I don't have 'boys' cuz I'm busy living a productive life instead of being out at the club... and I tend to not pay attention to women's looks nearly as much because beaut is skin deep but ugly is to the bone. Just because many mgtow hate women doesn't mean all do. Some just decide they're over it
FESTER - the MGTOW I applaud you in your decision of abstinence! Nutshell advice: if we want better WE have to do and live better! Don't you agree? #ichoosecelibacy
Why are you still single?.....I got your answer to your why. Proverbs 31: clearly stated that a ....."good woman is hard to find " are you really a good woman ? However, the Bible never started that a man is hard to find.....hello ??

Well, she only made this video through discussions with her clients. If she moves to a TV show, she no longer has time for clients and no longer gathers experience and ideas for more dating advice videos. I think she’s fine with what she’s doing now.
Good videos...however somethings you said are just not so...just because a man is interested in you dosnt mean that he "will" pursue you- some men don't act on their lust; and people can refrain from sex for years. We were made to have control over out innate urges...that's we were made in His image
She never said we cannot abstain from sex for years,...dear. She said its so hard and tempting to date and be in love with someone and date for years.which is absolutely true.

nkutsi anny Well we know it’s hard of course. That goes without saying. I think she implied more whether it was intentional or not. Read the comments. We have to be careful that we’re not encouraging sin. That’s all I’m saying. Some agree with me. Some won’t. It’s okay.
My eyes been opened on all this. I gave all my "single while waiting" material away a long time ago. I have stopped drinking the koolaid and thinking about all of these things in a different perspective. Thanks for the video!
I know what she means... my girl wanted me to pray 3 times a day and get a bible study in daily. Then whenever I wanted to do what she called single stuff - dancing - I sinning, or when I say no - I’m working.
I belong to another religion and many people of my commuity think like you but I don't share that belief for one reason: your burden is yours. We're not here to see who's a good christian (or any other religion) and who's not, etc. If he's a decent guy and shares a MINIMUM, then maybe you shouldn't bother with his daily practice.
This message is everything and I really feel like it set me free of preconceived ideas that religion has put in my head. I came across a Instagram post the other day, that was asking Christian women how long they have been abstinent. The answers shook me! I saw 15 years, 25 years,36 year 40 years!! They claimed they were waiting for their Boaz, and that god will send them their husband. I was like how?! If you never go out the house or you think that every place except church is the devil’s playground. Unfortunately, there is a lot of Christian women who is single and it’s not normal. This video is a life changer! Thank you so much xox
But how do you know if these women are legitimately living their lives, dating, ect but genuinely haven’t found the right one? Not everyone is staying home IJS.... There’s so much to be said for reasons why it just hasn’t happened yet 🤷🏾♀️
The common denominator is men with peter pan syndrome spending their energy entertaining thots or playing video games in their moma basement instead of building up their own homes.
I'm at the "I give up" stage. I'm over all of these conferences and books. I have also felt that this whole movement is for profit. Profiting off of single Christian women.
Same! Been single and celibate doing the whole waiting thing for 10 years! Left me wiser and stronger but also having sexual repression problems. God has been opening my eyes, this year i gave up on that whole thing and I feel SO FREE!!!
You're so right... I met my husband outside of the church. I just couldn't connect with the way the church was pushing things. I was a broken woman and I couldn't pretend to be perfect to find a perfect man. When I met my husband he and I were both broken and seeking God. He was actually atheist before we met but he was carrying good fruits of kindness, patience, and humbleness. I truly believe God brought us both together because we were so much alike. We both got saved together and got married. We've grown so much and it's only through Jesus Christ. The relationship we have is true and real because of God but churches would never allow us to give our story because it's not the Fairytale Christian story.
Correct. I've learned that some Atheists aren't truly atheist. Some have been hurt in church and/or by people who claim to be "godly". That pain causes them to believe God is not real. We have to take the time to listen to people and be slow to judge.
Date around, live life and have fun! I promise you, it’s really not that complicated. Dating does not equate to sex. Unfortunately, people are not smart enough to understand that part!
My problem with this video is she's going on this passionate rant and all I've heard is what the women are doing wrong but nothing about how they can do things the right way. She also is giving mized messages mocking ppl who "wait" but at the same time saying be abstinent and step back and ask the Lord to bring you the right man. Wouldn't that require waiting? Also she talks about of course a man is going to try you and I had to be sexy for my man and we want to have sex bc we're attracted to each other...OK. But she doesn't indicate what the boundaries ought to be or which crossed boundaries are dangerous. It's dangerous message. Im sure she didn't mean it (but I have enough sense to know her communication is lacking and she needs to clarify) but a younger less wise person might think she's implying that it's ok to be more sexually free bc "we attracted to each other".
Right her words are contradicting. this tells me she doesn't really read her Bible because she's trying to find loopholes in God's words about being sexual.
OMG this is exactly what i was thinking. She did not address the issue directly. Should young women have sex before marriage or not? (which is essentially WAITING)
Summer Rain you typed out the exact words I had in my thoughts while listening to this. At some point i became disturbed as to what this message may do to some younger girls that are still babies in Christ. Unfortunately I read some of the comments and I am not surprised. One thing I know is that in the heart of most of the commenters they know the truth. The Bible is clear about these things. Numbers 25:1-9, 24,000 Israelite men perished because they committed sexual immorality, the world’s obsession with sex reflects that of the ancient Moabites but on a larger scale. Moreover, each year thousands of Christians fall prey to immorality-the same basic lure that caught the Israelites. A lot of the so called Christians are some of the commenters who struggle with and participate in these sins. Flee from sexual immorality!”-1 Corinthians 6:18. When the most high gives a command He gives the grace, that does not mean you are not attracted to whom you are dating, but it simply means you choose righteousness. Would it be easy? No! Will you struggle sometimes or most? Yes but again there is a reward for righteousness both here on earth and afterwards. Grace and Peace to all sisters and brothers that chooses righteousness.
Summer Rain I think it’s more like, stop waiting and investing time in men who aren’t genuinely interested in you. Sex is what drives men. When they really want you, they will do whatever they need to get it. As Christian women, it’s being clear about that. Notice how quickly they got married. He had a burning passion for her. Many Christian women will emotionally over commit to someone they think is “their husband” and it’s not... she saying someone women will wait til this supposed boaz just shows up, get overly attached because they are reading into stuff too much as like a sign from God and end up Not married to this man are are just wasting their youth
I just found your video on TH-cam by happenstance and my God , you laid it out so well. Some women over spiritualize love and marriage…to a point that it doesn’t even make sense. Thanks for sharing this truth.
This is the realest thing i heard from a Christian female. Some really good points. Just like working out. Most Christians not ready to endure the process that it takes to achieve succcess. I like your style. Stay Blessed by the BEST. #FLIPPINITUP
This was a very good and pragmatic video for Christian women who live in the clouds! Most don’t understand the context of the scripture. Kudos for keeping it real that Black Women are everyone’s cash cows. Peace!
You made so many valid points!!! My husband and I dated for 4 years and I was abstinent, and he never once tried to make a move on me EVER while dating. Never caught him even looking. And guess what, I’ve been married for 6 years and we’ve only had sex the first year in our marriage. Now I’m going through a divorce and that played a major part in it!! We never even talked about sex because we thought it was a sin. I’m so happy to say I’ve grown and matured!
@@smiles9599I've heard a lot Christians say that a man doesn't love you if he leads you to breaking your abstinence. But people need to have a clear line between intentionally breaking abstinence or is he just attracted as a he should be. Don't break abstinence but there should be attraction and it should be difficult
Just a question love, but how can he lead his family to Christ if God isn’t a priority in his life? He doesn’t have to be a pastor for God to be a priority. I’m not over-spiritualizing it but if God made marriage and man first and woman as his helper, there’s a specific order for things to work and go smoothly and where Christ can be honored. I loved some of your points made in this video, I just don’t want women to settle for less than a God centered relationship because they’re hurting. Yes most men aren’t in church, but that in itself needs to be addressed (which I know wasn’t the point of your video). But geez not pointing fingers but I pray for a generation where men will be men and lead. Occasional God and not always God isn’t gonna work. I get what you’re saying about women should date at their level. Like, if they’re not a pastor they can’t expect a man to be one. But honestly, by men being designed to lead, if there is anyone to lead anyone in the relationship to church it should be him, not her. After all, this is the way men are designed by God 🤷🏽♀️. God gave Adam the assignment of cultivating the garden before Eve ever came along. Adam was being purposeful with what God had given him. If a man can’t cultivate what God has given him or can’t even hear God because he speaks to him occasionally, what in the world is he gonna do with me? I need my soul nurtured and lead because I need a more eternal view when I’m with him. This is what marriage is supposed to do along with other things. I will be single forever before I make a life out of dragging a man to church. I like MASCULINITY. That’s attractive. Not sexist, but masculine. That is why we must take everything from the Word of God and not lean on our own understanding. There is a way that seems right to us, but it leads to death. Everything we speak or share has to line up with God’s word. What can be more real or “realer” than God’s Word? Not bible beating, but revelation. We need revelation from The Holy Spirit when talking about such things. The road is narrow. All love ❤️ hope this isn’t self righteous. 🙏🏽
your post was better than the entire video....its just outrageous how people would think that to love God and mlm make him a priority means you have to be a pastor....wow
VOLUME UP ON THIS POST! God bless you sis I agree. and you are simply speaking the truth don't be sorry for that. I'm not submitting to a man that isn't fully 24/7 submitted to God. There is this mentally in the church that if you are a man/woman of prayer, if you read the Bible everyday and live by it, and act like Jesus then you must be called to be a minister. Where is that in the Bible? Where in the Bible does it say that this kind of behavior is exclusive to men of God? The Bible actually encourages us all to be like that! All Christians! Today's church has created this false narrative that only pastors and church leaders are to behave like that in order to normalize lukewarm Christianity and make lukewarm Christians feel comfortable in their state. But remember what Jesus said about lukewarmness (Revelation 3:15-16 )? Because of this false narrative the modern church has forced so many Christians into church leadership, whom God did not call for leadership, all for acting like what the Bible describes as regular Christian. Christian woman I urge you to make the Bible your biggest source of "relationship advice". I do agree that we are too obsessed with books, movements, and conferences (which are not bad if they are fully Christ centered) but don't give these things more authority than the Bible. Trust in God for a partner and work on your relationship with Him. So many women have zero to no relationship with Jesus and expect God to bring them a God fearing husband. Sis for what? You haven't even learned to follow God on your own, what spiritual benefit will you bring to this man? Because fun fact: God marries us off for our own spiritual growth. Man there is sooooo much to say on this, I could make a whole video fam. But God bless you all.
Dont misinterpret what she's saying. Simply put: be led by the Spirit and not by a bunch of unmarried, profit driven individuals and ideologies that isn't grounded in reality. She mentioned specific people to show examples of the exceptions to the rule, the people who have lots to say based on their limited experience and sell those ideas to desperate people. Don't take that as saying don't be Spiritual or don't have a desire for a spiritual man. The point is to let God do the work on YOU first and let him lead you to the right one.
Well sis, I appreciate the fact that you made this video ....however we are to be content in Christ and have a sound mind first ... I appreciate all the advice I've received from watching Derek jaxon ... he really does tell the truth same as Heather Lindsey she teaches about different things ... and her story is just that ( hers) it's all learning from different points of view ... It's up to each one of us to ask for wisdom and discernment and be aware of self ... As far as the church well that's the funny part lol .. some churches only prosperity preach , some only talk about sewing seeds Ect... the Devil goes to church too ... The typical " Christian" man ain't necessarily a Godly man and the same for women ... some of us have one foot in the church and one foot in the world ... I can say from my own personal experience if you want to be changed and submit yourself to God he will deliver you from what your weakness is . Am I perfect absolutely not, do I now know my worth yes ma'am ... Living my life, discovering who I am likes, dislikes ... actually meeting and getting to know ppl for the purpose of knowing them....learning you have to be what you expect ... Once I became free from bondage I know the why .. celibacy isn't easy but it is worth it ... I know when a guy is trying me ... it ain't happening . The lord makes a way of escape.. and I have had to remove thineself from situations and conversations ... So when a man says to me I want to come over and cuddle the answer is NO. Do you know why ? Because a man will not respect what he can easily obtain and if he leaves .. well he leaves that was his intention . I used to fall for that it got me nowhere . Progress requires change and if you're not willing to change then everything you entertain will be for profit books, conferences , t shirts one on ones' ..... Most don't want to hear it , but SELF is the issue and we attract what we are at the time of brokenness ... wake up ppl , this is spiritual warfare manifesting in the natural ...
So well said! I don't know why she's banging people for their online advice, books, conferences, or one on ones when she's selling HER book, giving her advice and doing her own one on ones???? At the end of the day you can hear the same great message from different people but you only RECEIVE it from certain types. There are plenty of people to bang for bad messaging but the ones she alluded to aren't it. IMO
Derrick contradicts everything he says. I used to watch him but stopped. He says whatever he thinks women want to hear at the time. There is a youtube channel "Aba and Preach" made a whole video showing how Derrick contradicts himself. I think the moral of the story is, don't get caught up following all these relationship gurus instead of paying attention to what God is telling you. Some people are taking her words out of context.
I believe this woman is telling the truth very clearly but most brainwashed women won't hear it. They will end up like me In the forties, single and depressed waiting for Boaz while their eggs have already expired. They are pimping us christian women all the way to the bank especially Heather Lindsey and her pinky promise. Lindsey annoyed me from the moment l saw her. Her platform is that she had a good time with all kinds of guys but got serious and waited for about three years then "God" brought her husband. So now all women should wait. Being abstinent is good. But don't expect a reward from it. Also be aware that you might have to wait indefinitely. That's very, very rough. While you're doing the waiting other women will be enjoying themselves taking a short spiritual break. Many of them will be getting married real quick while you're collecting grey hairs. True life experience.
Rebecca, I love this video! Amazing! Praise GOD! You have preached the TRUTH! I am a man & I wish Christian women I meet would stop expecting every Christian man to be Moses or Elijah.
I am actually a woman who doesn't want a Pastor for a mate.I desire a man just like me in spiritual thinking. I have not ever said God told me he's my husband. I deal in reality. Period.
Daayuum i can't beleive this video was uploaded in 2017!!!! and we are in May 2019 and I'm just seeing this! wow! God i feel like i needed this video 2years ago. I needed this freedom. Why now? But i've seen in my life that you are never late. I've been that closed woman on the wait for so long, i feel now i've missed my best years to find a husband. I'm 31 and just now you're telling me to let go??! Why?When now i feel like i might still have some 2-3 years before being completely out of the scene of the marriage game. Why now God? When i'm so scared i'll finish alone! Why now? I suppose it's your job to know why and my job to trust. So i'm gonna trust you and beleive that true love is in your plans for me and for this 31st year of my life. I prophesy it for myself in the name of Jesus. I'm writing this in the middle of the night. I Don't know what form this true love is gonna have. But you spoke to me in 2017 throug this woman and i'm finally open to listen in 2019. I'm going to be open to LOVE. and dating. and just meeting guys, people. Not Always be in my own little world waiting to start living when i'll be married. Married or not you created me for some Reason and my single life matter as much as my future wifey life or mommy life. I matter. Your sacrifice for my personnal life matter! So i'm gonna live this life to the fullest. Bring it on God! Bring me more love for you, more love for myself more love for my family and my friends, more love for my job, and bring me my love. He's out there, let us meet each other or open my eyes and my heart to the one i might already know. That's it i'm open to your plans! Let's do this! In the beautifull name of Jesus Christ! AMEN! (Thank you so much for this woman, her honesty, and her voice, may you bless her and meet her in whatever need or desire she's got at this moment. Amen.) (Love from France).
Rom Wills real talk? Her message is not biblical. People- read the Bible!! It’s God’s word. I actually expect men to follow God and read their bibles and stop idolizing football ! I’d rather a man that PLAYS football as a hobby than one that sits around watching football wasting his time!!! I need a leader! Not a whimp.
@@gabrielamartinyuk6438 And he needs someone whose gonna give him his room to breath and not suffocate him simply because you probably wanna be showered with money and worship that you don't need nor deserve. She is coming straight from the throne, She the new wine and that's why she's not recieved. I'm just hearing her today and she is the truth.Prophetess keyica approves her message 😘🌷
Thanks for your 100% honesty black church life can be a Special education class meaning everything is in slow motion and not much emphasis on practical living, personal autonomy, and true adulthood just romantic fairy tales
I'm sorry, you lost me at some point. The way this woman spoke about certain things did not sound scriptural to me. She sounded like many of the speakers she critiqued in the beginning - saying what people want to hear. I'm glad I study the Word for MYSELF, know God for MYSELF and consider His teachings carefully. Not everyone out her is truly a servant of God.
Swat Kasham she’s encouraging women to seek man who are not in church or in relationships with God...also saying women are wrong for seeking ministers/pastors. Sounds like a lukewarm relationship to me
@@kevincharlesaint8936 She makes it sound like seeking a man after God's heart is wanting to be married to a pastor or minister. Why the stereotypical labeling? Why do we have to be in ministry to be after God's heart? I think she needs to spend a wee bit more time with Jesus and come back to this topic!
Thos is as real as it gets ladies. To be a Christian woman and the church tip toes around so many issues is problematic within itself. Love this Rebecca.
mine neither this women is preaching something that doesn't even align with the word of god leading so many people to confusion smh look at the comments of how many are confused now !
So true and relevant, I've been married for 30 yrars. In short, most women today have NO idea what they want or NEED. You need your own television show. Move over Dr. PHIL!
The Bible foretold there would be wolves in sheep's clothing that would mislead many. When merchants are blinded by greed, and take a buffet style approach to Bible principles, laws, and commands under the guise of progressivism, and Christianity things become convoluted and stop working for the true greater good of the people.
Strong message! Like a splash of cold water to some people. Stay encouraged. ...Oh, you've been going off lately. There's a lot of stuff you've been holding in, that is obvious.
I’m married now 💍 but when I was single I had to learn to “Be still” and listen to God. So that I agree with 💯 I don’t know where the “God told me you were my husband” that is insane and if you really know God that’s not how He operates.
Judgement is coming !!! The Lord has made a way out, for those who will accept the “Full Word of God.” The Lord Jesus Christ stated: John 13:20. Verily, verily, I say unto you, HE THAT RECEIVETH WHOMSOEVER I SEND RECEIVETH ME, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. Therefore, if a man wants to receive Jesus, the man MUST receive the “Messenger” who Jesus sends, in this day the Lord has kept His word, and has sent His prophet. The, “Elijah anointing,” (Concerning the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ) is used “TWICE.” The first time 2,000 years ago, when God sent John the Baptist, then again in this day. At each, “Coming of the Lord,” there is an Elijah prophet who precedes that, “Coming.” Jesus said concerning John the Baptist. Matthew 3:3. For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Elijah, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. John, “Prepared the way for the Lord,” John did NOT “Restore anything,” as that which would need to be restored, (The full understanding of the whole Bible,) had not yet been given. This scripture concerns the Elijah prophet for, “THIS DAY.” Matthew 17:11. And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elijah truly shall FIRST COME, and RESTORE all things. God has fulfilled the above scripture in THIS DAY. This scripture also predicts the Elijah prophet for “This day”..... Malachi 4:5. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. This Elijah prophet comes just before, “The coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord,” which happens in this day. We are now living in the last days, God has kept His word and sent that prophet, thereby “Restoring” His word to His Bride. One Sunday morning in June, 1933, God gave seven major continuous visions to His prophet William Marrion Branham (Fulfilling Malachi 4:5 + Matthew 17:11 + Revelation 10:7 and other scriptures) Five of the seven continuous visions, have already come to pass. THE SEVENTH VISION. “The last and seventh vision was wherein I heard a most terrible explosion. As I turned to look I saw nothing but debris, craters, and smoke all over the land of America.” God has raised the dead on FIVE occasions through His chosen vessel. God was photographed SIX times, (Veiled in the form of the Pillar of Fire) with His prophet. God`s chosen vessel was William Marrion Branham. Check out William Branham, God`s “Vindicated Prophet” for the End Time. These and other “Prophetical scriptures” fulfilled: Malachi 4:5. Matthew 17:11. Revelation 10:7. Revelation 3:14. Revelation 1:16 - 20. Revelation 2:1. Revelation 3:1. Watch this amazing testimony on TH-cam: Ed Byskal - I am a witness (Testimony on William Branham) th-cam.com/video/0Ax-wN1lpn4/w-d-xo.html Russia now has a missile which can destroy a nation the size of France or a state the size of Texas, destruction is one button push away. th-cam.com/video/DNfn17y7iNo/w-d-xo.html The Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of “FORNICATION” and Homosexuality..... Jude 7. Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to FORNICATION, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of everlasting fire. Do you see any fornication and or homosexuality in this day ???
It would be okay if ya'll had established a relationship first and he invested a lot of time into getting to know you (showing a genuine interest in you being in his future). But, if it was after an initial meeting....naw!!
I know you posted this video 2 years ago, but I really needed to hear this today! You made this dating thing so clear to me. I was the one with the long list; I’ve read almost every book on dating and relationships; I’ve prayed and prayed but not opening my heart to real love. Thank you so much for keeping it real! It was meant for me to see this video! God bless you, Sis!
Ladies, go out, date, meet people!!!!! Read the scriptures, build a business, but don't stand still behind closed doors waiting for it to happen, that's self assasination .
I agree. Haven't ever been committed but I like to go to nice places and mingle
I’m just now seeing this. Love your comment.
Amen sister
I think some people in the comments are confused, so let me get this straight about what I understood, she isn’t saying to go sleep with your boyfriend, she is saying you CAN be attracted TO each other sexually, because in marriage you will obviously have sexual relations, she realizes that many Christian women marry Christian men because of ONLY his spirituality and then what happens is the marriage is just broken because it’s not gonna be intimate, also what I understood is that during the dating stage, you will be tested and there will be hard times and you should talk about boundaries about abstinence, just enjoy the process of dating and get to know the person.
What she *didn’t* say:
-Have sex before marriage
- don’t look for good Christian men
- Only think about abstinence
What she *is* saying:
- look for good Christian men (that you ARE attracted to (mutually))
- be abstinent during dating period BUT get to know the person
- it will be hard but it’s a test
It's sad that only FEW if us REALLT got the message. One reason I left the CHURCH because of alllllllllllllll the judgemental women....they run in groups and packs and clicks.
Thank you..because I'm like it can't be this hard to comprehend. "He that have an ear" but people want to be mad at nothing lol. Only the hit dogs will holler lmbo.
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 FINALLY SOMEONE WHO HAS SOME COMMON SENSE!!!!!! These extra zealous women in the comments have me like WTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Christie Horan interesting😎

Girrrrrl, YOU hit the nail on the head too when about dating and marriages in the church!!! Yes Maam!!
Kellie Alston perfectly said ur thoughts and views on this subject should be highly appreciated.
Kellie Alston Very well said, Ma'am.
CellGames2006 What?!!!
Good for you I would not want to wait that long. Some men don’t have a choice.
Amen!
"It's easy to be abstinent when you don't like nobody!"😂😂😂you betta tell it!
Jaimie Jackson 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Church. And. Tabernacle. 😩😩 This video has me in my feelings because long term abstinence has often been a struggle for me and church culture has me feeling like an alien, especially as a woman!
Jaimie Jackson 😂😂
One of the few realest videos out here.
ladylequvia7 dse
Just follow the money and you'll understand the business model of American Christianity.
The realest comment ever. Christianity especially for me was very focused on relationships and dating, marriage etc. Ffs, learn your mistakes from your past relationships that's why I decided to just go celibate and learn. Just learn from my past. A video I appreciate
Yes I agree 1000% we are programmed from birth on who we should be in the world. You have to find yourself first, bump what others think

AMEN!!! Yes.
And fast forward years later Devon Franklin and his wife gets divorced
And they waited but still caught a divorce issue. It just proves hiw over spiritualizing relationships/marriage can actually be harmful in the long run
I agree. But I think that it's possible for a man to have a heart for God and a yearn for who He is without being called to ministry lol. It's completely possible for a woman to want a man that is in love with God and not want a pastor. The two aren't synonymous. And being a regular man about your family isn't the opposite of being a man chasing after God.
That’s true, I normally pray around 3x a day and keep up with daily bible readings but don’t feel the pastor call.
My brain leans more to prophecy
Too many of us are stuck on titles. There are men out here who do have a heart after God.

They want that "First Lady " status and $$$...
hope sparks yep, I think the really religious women should be able to meet these holy men in church. There must be many of them there. I’ll personally pass on really religious women because I’m not so holy as they are and have no desire to date that type. They wouldn’t like me anyway because I wouldn’t fit the holy standards they expect.
OMG...this is one of the best videos of yours yet. Finally, someone said it.."Where are the men?" This is the truth.
"Where are the men?" Plenty of Christian men are going MGTOW instead of going to church on Sundays!
They are allround you but you can't see them because most of our women are overintellualizing or spiritualizing.
Even though I’m called to ministry I’m so glad I married my wife before I knew that. It’s plenty of men that love God that’s not a pastor

My g realist comment on here...Christian hoespeak at large this is some funny shht.
Agreed if you aren't attracted to him you don't want to be sexual with him

The irony is Ruth didn't even sit around waiting for Boaz....
She actually laid at his feet. Hmmmm?
Exactly !!! She put in a desireable outfit and broke/snuck into his office-bedroom

I bet a lot of women would admit they felt the same way.......if they would be honest
This is encouraging. ❤️
@3L5S7 :-{} I have. Been celibate almost 5 yrs now
Thank You so much for this message.
No offence but when women start talking that "I told god" shit. I'm out. Please tell me what was his (gods) response when you said that to him.
Getta Wright reading relationship books was your problem in the first place.

Yep, and a majority of churches push for people to get married so soon, that they're not able to truly learn about their potential partner. In turn becoming their cell-mate instead soul mate.

Gabriela Martinyuk very true. So sad
The Curly Closet Thanks for explaining! I didn’t get that from her message, but maybe I just misunderstood. God bless!
Thanks.

Ms Phasha TRUE 💯 ✔️
Unless a woman is a virgin she can't bring that celibacy talk to me, we not waiting if another man got the goods without marriage.

I don't have 'boys' cuz I'm busy living a productive life instead of being out at the club... and I tend to not pay attention to women's looks nearly as much because beaut is skin deep but ugly is to the bone. Just because many mgtow hate women doesn't mean all do. Some just decide they're over it

That would interesting to see...especially since Rebecca is _not_ telling women what they want to hear.
No she don't...
Well, she only made this video through discussions with her clients. If she moves to a TV show, she no longer has time for clients and no longer gathers experience and ideas for more dating advice videos. I think she’s fine with what she’s doing now.
Yep
STAT
Good videos...however somethings you said are just not so...just because a man is interested in you dosnt mean that he "will" pursue you- some men don't act on their lust; and people can refrain from sex for years. We were made to have control over out innate urges...that's we were made in His image
Truth
Jossph Richardson yeah I’m a bit concerned about what she’s telling people and implying in this video.
She never said we cannot abstain from sex for years,...dear. She said its so hard and tempting to date and be in love with someone and date for years.which is absolutely true.
Some won’t. It’s okay.
1,,000,000 hours of woman talking about men this person's 30mins's are the only oasis of truth.
My eyes been opened on all this. I gave all my "single while waiting" material away a long time ago. I have stopped drinking the koolaid and thinking about all of these things in a different perspective. Thanks for the video!
A man who prays daily does not equal pastor. It means he is a man after the Lord’s heart full stop.
PREACHHHHHHH
I know what she means... my girl wanted me to pray 3 times a day and get a bible study in daily. Then whenever I wanted to do what she called single stuff - dancing - I sinning, or when I say no - I’m working.
I belong to another religion and many people of my commuity think like you but I don't share that belief for one reason: your burden is yours.
We're not here to see who's a good christian (or any other religion) and who's not, etc. If he's a decent guy and shares a MINIMUM, then maybe you shouldn't bother with his daily practice.
MarokoJin in all honesty, most people in America are not religious.
Have you ever wondered why religious people (Christians) ARE the poorest on this planet?
This message is everything and I really feel like it set me free of preconceived ideas that religion has put in my head. I came across a Instagram post the other day, that was asking Christian women how long they have been abstinent. The answers shook me! I saw 15 years, 25 years,36 year 40 years!! They claimed they were waiting for their Boaz, and that god will send them their husband. I was like how?! If you never go out the house or you think that every place except church is the devil’s playground. Unfortunately, there is a lot of Christian women who is single and it’s not normal. This video is a life changer! Thank you so much xox
Wake up my sisters.
Exactly! And whats so sad alot of posts are probably from bw.
Is sad. Smh
WOW!!! It is refreshing to hear a woman that's gets it!!!! I've been saying this to women for years coming from a regular man's perspective!!!
On Behalf of ALL MEN....THANK GOD FOR YOU AND THIS WORD
David was a man after gods heart and he was not a preacher..
David also got it in where he saw fit so what’s your point
David was a King of Israel (king of Gods chosen people) he had more of a higher calling than a preacher of a church

😂😂 so true! I said the same thing
#FACTS. And it's disgusting.
I agree, she is very confusing, she don't need to pray with her husband really!! The devil is no respect of person, that's her life.
Many Christian women will emotionally over commit to someone they think is “their husband” and it’s not... she saying someone women will wait til this supposed boaz just shows up, get overly attached because they are reading into stuff too much as like a sign from God and end up
Not married to this man are are just wasting their youth
I just found your video on TH-cam by happenstance and my God , you laid it out so well. Some women over spiritualize love and marriage…to a point that it doesn’t even make sense. Thanks for sharing this truth.
This is the realest thing i heard from a Christian female. Some really good points. Just like working out. Most Christians not ready to endure the process that it takes to achieve succcess. I like your style. Stay Blessed by the BEST. #FLIPPINITUP

Amazing information here sis! Turn all the lights on!!!!
I just need him to have a heart enough for God that we BOTH can have the goal of purity in dating. I can't be the only one carrying that out.
@The New Paulo Coelho I'm well, how are you?
Agreed, sister.
Christian women really confuse me. It's baffling how no matter what, "you're wrong" smh
Rebecca!! You are telling the truth!
It’s a taboo to talk about the in between before marriage as most Christians condemn it and the church makes money out of ignorance.
Sucre Klin most people don't know about the in between I think
❤❤❤❤❤❤Wow Rebecca, you did it on this one!!! Thank u!! Tell it like it is!
Because you didn't give yourself up earlier before marriage you feel that led to your divorce.
Smiles 95 no I don’t think so, it’s just the red flags were there and I didn’t see them until later on.
@@beauti2thecore Oh okay I see
@@smiles9599I've heard a lot Christians say that a man doesn't love you if he leads you to breaking your abstinence.
Sharmonica Carter So good! Exactly what I was thinking
Great post!!
your post was better than the entire video....its just outrageous how people would think that to love God and mlm make him a priority means you have to be a pastor....wow
They will end up like me
In the forties, single and depressed waiting for Boaz while their eggs have already expired.

I don’t know where the “God told me you were my husband” that is insane and if you really know God that’s not how He operates.
Judgement is coming !!!
The Lord has made a way out, for those who will accept the “Full Word of God.”
The Lord Jesus Christ stated:
John 13:20.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, HE THAT RECEIVETH
WHOMSOEVER I SEND RECEIVETH ME, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.
Therefore, if a man wants to receive Jesus, the man MUST receive the “Messenger” who Jesus sends, in this day the Lord has kept His word, and has sent His prophet.
The, “Elijah anointing,” (Concerning the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ) is used “TWICE.”
The first time 2,000 years ago, when God sent John the Baptist, then again in this day.
At each, “Coming of the Lord,” there is an Elijah prophet who precedes that, “Coming.”
Jesus said concerning John the Baptist.
This scripture concerns the Elijah prophet for, “THIS DAY.”
Matthew 17:11.
One Sunday morning in June, 1933, God gave seven major continuous visions to His prophet William Marrion Branham (Fulfilling Malachi 4:5 + Matthew 17:11 + Revelation 10:7 and other scriptures)
Five of the seven continuous visions, have already come to pass.
THE SEVENTH VISION.
“The last and seventh vision was wherein I heard a most terrible explosion. As I turned to look I saw nothing but debris, craters, and smoke all over the land of America.”
God has raised the dead on FIVE occasions through His chosen vessel.
God was photographed SIX times, (Veiled in the form of the Pillar of Fire) with His prophet.
God`s chosen vessel was William Marrion Branham.
Check out William Branham, God`s “Vindicated Prophet” for the End Time.
These and other “Prophetical scriptures” fulfilled:
Malachi 4:5.
Matthew 17:11.

The church is not a business, it's a way of life
“I cut off a man because he wanted me to come over and cuddle.” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.
It would be okay if ya'll had established a relationship first and he invested a lot of time into getting to know you (showing a genuine interest in you being in his future). But, if it was after an initial meeting....naw!!
Me too 😂
Ra El eww
Big no no
Ra El that’s what men want 🤷🏾♂️
I know you posted this video 2 years ago, but I really needed to hear this today! You made this dating thing so clear to me. I was the one with the long list; I’ve read almost every book on dating and relationships; I’ve prayed and prayed but not opening my heart to real love. Thank you so much for keeping it real! It was meant for me to see this video! God bless you, Sis!
"BUT YOU'RE ON FACEBOOK!!?!?"
(WTF face)
I had to laugh at that because its so true! Loved this video!
