I sat on a panel of very powerful men in a women's conference and made the same statement, ALL MEN ARE SIMPLE, every man on the panel agreed, 8 figure earners, football players, best-selling authors etc...y'all listen to this woman!

Another gem 💎 of a video Aunty! So freaking true when you said “ Women want to get married to check a box because they are goal orientated but really don’t want to be a wife”. I was obsessed with marriage too until I let a long distance boyfriend live with me for for four days. Baby I was ready to be single again! 😂. Being alone for so long, it’s a HUGE adjustment to just share space with another being.❤️

But most of the men are not able to provide without the help of the female income. The whole dynamic goes down the drain. Once women have to contribute and go out of the house and work for 8 hours of the day. And still be expected to come home and do the duties of the traditional wife?

This is why it's so important for Christians to know The Holy Spirit and to be filled with Him.
I've come to realize that a lot of problems we face is because we do not have The Holy Spirit.
Everything she was saying about holding a man accountable while simultaneously making him feel like a hero requires wisdom. This wisdom comes from The Lord.
I encourage everyone who sees this to seek The Holy Spirit. My life has evolved since having Him in life.
He leads me and guides me; He shows me where to go, what to do, how to speak, who to speak to, what friends are good for me, convicts me when I am in the wrong etc. He has even put me in wife training.
Honestly, I can't imagine my life without Him.

RLP to me this video is the MOST Transparent you have ever been in regards to what marriage is really like speaking from someone married twice and currently going through my second divorce. However I’m soooo happy it’s over it’s like a huge burden lifted after 30 years. I’m exhausted but now I’m soo happy, losing weight, doing things I really enjoyed before marriage, kids and grandchildren! Hallelujah! I wasn’t appreciated so appreciate my absence! Wishing everyone well but it’s amazing. Marriage is beautiful and amazing but it’s work and you have to vet well, ladies and gentlemen! Be intentional.

Ok. So we are going to need a Wife Preparation course that only you could provide. You know that, right? That is the natural progression. First we get over heartbreak, do the work , learn to date, get to bait weight and bait presentation, and then we need you and other wives to teach us the real deal- How to be excellent, effective wives and then how to be excellent mothers. Please consider it. You could change the world. Especially for those of us who grew up with little or no examples of healthy marriages or marriages at all. Thank you love. Rebecca I made an earlier comment and deleted it because the comment was not what struck me the most about this video. What struck me the most was hearing that so many of you young wives would not marry again. I’m 63 and widowed after 40 years. I would give ANYTHING to have him back. I miss his strength and guidance and all the little things he did to make my life easier. This is a harsh time to be alone. Covid showed us all that. Try being quarantined alone.
Young ladies when it gets overwhelming take a good look at what you are doing. Back off on some things that aren’t absolutely necessary. Don’t try to be super woman. Send the kids to Auntie or Grandma and just cuddle in the bed with him all evening watching tv. The house ain’t gotta be perfect and neither do you.

@@RebeccaLynnPope Don’t discount my opinion because I’m older. You originated from a culture where the Elders and the Ancestors are revered. That was lost once Africans arrived in this country and were introduced to Christianity and that is a large part of the problem. This relationship angst is only happening to Black people in America. . (I am black if you can’t tell). My advice was to slow down and treasure what you have because one day you will lose it. I stand by my advice because all around me I still see happily married young women. Human nature has not changed that much.

@sylviatyree3265 Hello Ma'am. Thank you for your input. I do not believe Mrs. Pope to have been coming from a place of disrespect.
What she is pointing out is that statistically, prices of everything has increased to record numbers. Majority of adults/parents who are married/partnered are not able to do what you suggested. You mentioned COVID and the fact that you no longer have your husband(my condolences). Many people have no living elders to send their children to. The same family and communities that may have helped raise prior generations either no longer exist. The family members are either working as well or they could even not live anywhere in the area. These times are different in many ways, but extremely economically. Parents aren't barely have time to see their children after work, let alone trying to send them away to make time for their spouse. Anything can be arranged for, sure, but please consider the way you don't have your loved one is the same way others may not have what you had access to in the past. Take good care.

Great video!! I really appreciate your content..eye openers!
But honestly, many men have issues controlling their flesh - I think that’s where most women have issues & want to throw the towel in on their marriages. Men already aren’t perfect; however, they expect women to deal with their flaws AND infidelity, while women continue to adhere to their standards of “a wife”. A woman can be all of these “5 things” and a man will still chose to step out of the relationship. Now a days, women seem to never win in relationships (specifically, loyalty), that’s why many tend to seek a man’s bag.

I have never had the desire to get married. It just didn't seem like it would benefit me in any way as a woman. I respect people who value the union of marriage. However, relationships are hard enough so I'm good.

Hi! I am a man, and I learned a lot about my own self from this video! However, I would like to inform you that *some* of us men are complex. It's true! I am one such man. I am so complex that even I can't figure myself out at times. I have even had people tell me that they can't figure me out. They can't tell whether what I am saying is true, or whether it is calculated by my complex mind to sound ridiculous. You know what? I LOVE that! I have found that some, but not all women are intrigued by my bamboozling style. I just wanted you to be aware of men like me.

@ex church girl or he can be married to you and live in another state working, then pop in for visits (birthday, holidays). I convinced myself I was good. I got tired of being married and living alone, so I filed for a divorce. I do not regret my decision. However as @Rebecca said I allowed it.

I know some happily married couples, and I’m hoping to find someone who has done the work like I have. No one is perfect, but I do believe it’s better to have a companion than to be alone for your whole life. It sounds like it’s hard work single and hard work married lol.,

She ain’t lying yall! I’ve only been married over a year and marriage is not for chumps, especially if you marry a high earning man like I did. It is simple what most men want, but it’s also work like with anything else good u want in life. Many woman have a Disneyland fantasy of marriage and she’s telling u what it REALLY is. Turn off those soap operas.

I am healthy and look nice but sure dont want to be botherd by this level of shallowness. My goodness why on earth would women want to be bothered with this shallow creature then get trapped in a marriage with them when you could live your life unbothered and free. Thank God we live in a time when women dont have to have a man to survive financially. Your conversation has made me thankful to God for my resources , freedom and peace of mind and a quite home without nonscense. Now please explain why these women chasing that stress mess?
