for those curious about the difference between “crappy design” and “asshole design”, the difference is that one is just a nuisance and on accident, the other is an annoyance and on purpose

The design at 8:46 wasn't saying old people can't be e-sports players. It was the names. Top Johann Wolfgang was a German poet in the 18th Century, middle was Joseph Goebbels, who I'm not even going to bother describing, and bottom was Helmutt Kohl, German chancellor in the 90s.
i was going to comment this exact thing. it was Goebbels name that i saw first.

Yeah. This is why I rarely draw people.
My younger sister had one of those children's books that teaches you the alphabet by showing an image and a word for each letter. "A for apple", "B for bear", etc. Pretty standard, right?
However, this particular version had clearly been translated from a different language (most likely from English) into our local language, which is Danish. This worked fine for some letters. The English "horse" translated perfectly to the Danish "hest".
As you would expect, though, some letters didn't translated that smoothly. For example, the Danish word for "rabbit" is "kanin", so how did they translate that? I'll tell you how:
They translated it as "rød kanin", which is Danish for "red rabbit" (and yes, the rabbit in the image was red). How could they think that was okay? It's ridiculous!

No, it’s just really silly. And since the goal is for the child to associate the picture and word with the letter, having just one entry suddenly use an adjective seems like it would be confusing.
Especially since rabbits aren’t usually red.

9:55 I actually looked this one up, and turns out the billionaire who conceived this dorm design is/was 97 years old on top of being an amateur architect. The "idea" is "the small living quarters would coax residents out of their rooms and into larger common areas, where they could interact and collaborate." . The consulting architect quit after reviewing the design. Maybe don't accept $200 mil from someone with one foot in the grave, the other on a banana peel.
