As someone who has watched Moominvalley and The Moomins, I can safely say that the older shows were better. I love that they remade it, but the personalities were changed a lot and it can't go on the same topics the originals could
There were actually quite a few versions before the 90s series. Whether they all aired in Finland or not, I could not tell you, as I am not Finnish myself. Though I do agree that the 90s series is definitely the most well known and probably the most beloved.
I remember watching the original so much when I was little. I loved it sooooo much.

Grzegorz's name makes a hell of a lot more sense in context of the language it comes from than "Worcestershire" does. Everyone who knows Polish is going to look at that name and go "it's a bit extra, but it's not even hard" and everyone who speaks English is going to go "How do I...? Worsher...? Wait, worcher...? Wait, worchesterer...? wait..." about three hundred times because it's an absurd combination of similar sounds. Brzęczyszczykiewicz looks a lot worse than it is to say out loud or even read, there's well enough variation of sounds that it's not a flex to pronounce it.

Yeah, it's pronounced wuh-ster-sher, mostly because the name got shortened over time back in the 1800s, but also the common folk didnt know how to read or write, therefore the spelling stayed the same despite being called something different.

My grandma didn't have an annoying dog.
She had two Australian shephards.
One, Willy, was a boy and had thick, fluffy, and messy fur.
The other, Joe, was a girl, and her fur was the exact opposite of Willy's.
My grandma also had two cats.
She found one after it was left behind by its litter and kept it, and the other just came into her house and that was it.
She lived there now.
My grandpa would have a half of a watermelon and eat it with a spoon on the couch.
I loved all of them dearly.
Their house was kinda small, but their backyard was humongous with a garden and trees enclosing the backyard, acting as the walls I guess you could say.
When I was little, my sister and I would play in the mud with our grandma.
Sometimes she would take us to the pool.
I was quite happy.
Then one day, when I was about 8 or 9, grandpa started to feel sick.
He would stay in his bed all the time.
We would come visit.
I couldn't really process what was happening.
I couldn't process that my loving old grandpa, was dying.
One day, we were given the news he passed.
I didn't really feel sad for a while.
Then one day, in my little 3rd grade class, I broke down crying.
It finally hit me.
While I was very sad for a while, I eventually got over it.
My dad had to stay over at my grandma's to help with the garden.
Just as things got back to normal, sort of, Willy passed. Then Joe.
After I cried and grieved because I loved those two dogs with all my heart, there was still my cat Hank, my dog Lacey, and my grandma's 2 cats.
About a year or 2 later, Hank disappeared.
He did this a lot, so I didn't think much of it.
Days turned into weeks.
Weeks turned into a month.
It hit me.
Hank was gone.
He was an old cat, so I wasn't surprised, but I was still very sad, as I had him most of my childhood.
Recently, I'm 11 now, my grandma moved out because her landlord was going to sell the place.
My second home, gone.
My grandma couldn't keep her cats, so she gave them to us.
Currently, the black cat (the one she found abandoned) shows up every now and then, but it's gone most of the time.
The other cat warmed up to us and has a happy life with us.
I'm not sure if my dog likes it tho.
During this time period, my mom also had a miscarriage at about 15 weeks.
Thankfully, she finally managed to get a son in June of last year
During this, on my mom's side of the family, my mima's cat died.
Funny, how life does that.
Like a domino effect.
The last few years haven't been that great for me.
I'm also depressed, (diagnosed by a professional) so that's fun! 😃👍

There's one thing I've come to realize about the struggles of game development over the years:
- If a game is easy, people will complain about finishing it too quick.
- If a game is challenging, people will complain about the grind.
- If a game has a mix of easy and hard modes, people will complain about balance.
- If a game gets balanced, someone will always complain about how they can no longer play the OP broken BS they used to be toxic to other players, or find reasons to wanna nerf stuff because they can't beat more skilled players.
And somehow the big brand game developers rarely ever listen to constructive criticism and probably wonders why their fandom eventually only consists of toxic players.
Part of that issue is on the userbase, vocal minorities, most of the people with mild to moderate criticisms will say them in their social media public places independantly, people being whiny brats will coalesce into a unified opinionated brigade and make themselves seen in as many spaces as possible
To admit, I have pretty shit criticism, like "Make the game more fun"

While it is unfortunate, people die every day. People aren't omniscient to be aware of every case that occurs around the globe and their circumstances, nor are they omniscient to know when and where a dark joke is appropriate. The alternative would be to ban all dark humor because no timing is ever right.
