i have weirdly enough NEVER fallen asleep in front of my PC while watching TH-cam or anything else. i always leave for my Bed or at worst my Couch when i get really tired. it just happens automatically.

This is taxonomy if you didn't know. Its all 4 orders under the Reptilia class.
The 4 orders are:
Squamata (Lizards, Snakes, and amphibians)
Crocodilia (Obviously Crocodiles and Alligators)
Testudines (Turtles and Tortoises)
And Spenodontia (Lizards)
I'm super into taxonomy which is why I immediately recognized this (well after figuring out how to read the text)
Edit: Just quickly fixing some grammar mistakes
Sphenodontia are not lizards but the tuatara
two fixes:
1. Squamata does include lizards and snakes, but not amphibians. They are a totally different class
2. Spenodontia does not have lizards, lizards are exclusive to squamata. The only living representative of sphenodontia is the tuatara, an ancient reptile from new zealand

Theory: The "extremely flammable water" can is intentional. It is a can for gasoline or kerosine, but by coloring it blue and writing WATER STORAGE on it, the manufacturer can escape legal requirements to put a locking safety spout on it. These spouts prevent dangerous spills, but annoy the living crap out of many people since they're a lot harder to operate than a simple spout and the mechanism can jam.
That, or the gas can itself is 'extremely flammable', and thus shouldn't be used to store gasoline/etc. There are pyrophilic plastics.
gasoline itself is actually not flammable. it's the fumes that are flammable.

Never use gasoline kerosene or diesel to start a fire. this is great advice I had a neighbor burn his whole arm neck and face where he looks like darth vader. the gas can explode when ignited. even if the advice is on a water jug,.. it may be inappropriately used by someone whose not so smart. so its great place for the advice. its really smart.

14:18 these are all classifications for the animal kingdom- specifically “reptiles” or the likes of. It’s Sphenodontia (tuataras), Testudines (turtles), Crocodilia (crocodilians), and Squamata (scaled reptiles).
Fun fact- Tuataras are the only two species of their classification and aren’t actually lizards despite looking like them- their signature trait is possessing a third eye.

6:00 No, see, this is the new kind of elevator that can take you to any place inside Willy Wonka's factory _and_ those strange floors between floors like in the "Being John Malkovich" movie. It also somehow takes you to any apartment staircase that you have a tag or code for. Pretty clever, but it has one of those "It will take you wherever you want, if you're not too picky" catches to it.

The ‚half’ on the elevator buttons probably refer to split levels. Perfectly normal and yet ugly thing in architecture. It’s used to overcome differences in topography or if you want to increase the ceiling hight in certain parts of the building - or if you just want to be unnecessarily fancy
One or two split levels at the bottom of the building would make sense, but -2.5, 4.5, 5.5, and 6.5 is madness
@@LilacMonarch i think what happened is that the building has doors every half of a level. So i assume the stair go half a level up, then there are doors and goes half a level up into the other direction, where are again doors. Or one part of the building is older than another or whatever. maybe on the ground there are some business like a cinema that take up 2-3 levels of space at once or some oversized hallways in a bank or sth.
@@LilacMonarch some department stores will do this so the bottom 2 floors are larger “show room” style areas with higher ceilings then the upper floors have 1/2 floors to separate departments. -2 1/2 doesn’t make much sense but the other ones aren’t that insane.
-2 1/2 could be for a parking garage situation where it’s only a half floor but 🤷🏻♀️

The rear doors go to employee-only areas, and the buttons only respond after a code is entered.
i'm just wondering why the building has no 2nd or 3rd floor. . .it has 0, which i assume is "ground floor", 1 and then skips 2 and 3 and goes to 4.
then on the "split" side, it has -2.5 and then it jumps to 4.5.
i assume the "negative" levels are the basement levels, often referred to as "B1", "B2", but then there's just -1 and then -2.5. where is -2?
At 1:40, I am proud to not only live in that city, but be able to walk around and see crappy design like that. Just go walking in Auckland and you will see what I mean. I spotted 3 the other day when walking at local beach

9:31 looking at how old that label is, I would say that this used to simply be black text on white fabric, and that the white fabric simply discolored over the amount of times the black garment was washed. That's not crappy design; that's wear and tear.
(And it's just the standard label telling you to not dry clean it, iron at low temperature, and so on.)
It doesn’t look worn enough to have been white, but it could have been black text on a grey tag

She told my sister about a place called Pinch A Penny. (It’s a pool supply shop in our city) And my sister was SO MAD at their name & their logo, she literally refused to go into the store then emailed them and said she’d make them a new logo for $20. She was THAT worked up about how terrible their design is. (Which as a fellow graphic designer, I admit it’s pretty pathetic) They never got back to her & we all say they’re salty that she legit said “your logo is pointless and kept me from knowing what your store even is. You need help with it if you actually wanna bring in customers, especially during a damn pandemic in Fl summer heat” before offering her $100+ services for a cheap $20. You gotta love your siblings during their kindest and bluntest moments cuz damn, are they entertaining! 😂

7:23 you can turn off cooling on most modern refrigerators because it's a demonstration mode. essentially it's cheaper to make all of them the exact same, the store just pulls one, plugs it in and puts it in demonstration mode so it's completely functional in every other way, it just wont cool down (it also allows them to sell the floor model).
Had the weirdest moment of brain failure, and had to reread this twice… But, yeah, it makes sense.

The half may also refer to a "Half level" FE in a parking garage with offset floors or, as some buildings I've been to do, the platform halfway down a staircase.

Edit: The elevator at 6:10 probably has doors on both sides, which is also why the "half floors" are all on one side. Basically it got jammed in between two wings of a building that were built at different heights.
Elevator 1/2s are mostly used for areas in the building not used much like maintenance rooms and stuff, its a floor between 5. And 6.
I blame Lexi for my strange new desire to make a snow-luigi for this winter, even tho i know i have none to the skills to build one and it would most likely fall apart.
edit: the clip is 15:35 so enjoy imagining a luigi made of snow.
The “half floors” are maintenance levels between the regular floors. I saw something like this in a hospital.
I suspect the negative floors are sub-basement levels.
