Really appreciate the info on how to adjust the throttle cable return. I didn't want to have to adjust it back and forth myself to see which way to change it 😄
@@MotoGearSolid I had a 2015 R3 (back in 2015-2017) but never got around to doing it. Recently picked up an MT-03 and just did the swap today and can't believe I didn't do it before.

Just ordered this. I got my 2017 r3 with a few mods already but this is one that the previous owner missed :/ Sweet bike!
@@MotoGearSolid tinted windshield, brake and clutch levers, tank pads, frame sliders, tail tidy, and swapped footpegs and a few other metal bits to red from black.
How much throw angle changes?
It would have been nice to show the angle of movement with a cramp buster before and after
I'm curious which year r3 you have, and which year throttle tube you ordered from the r6 catalog. Did you just match years?
Where did u find the added protective end caps?
Where'd you get the extended front turn signals? Been lookimg for some like your becasue ibhate the flush mounted ones
What is the function about the plastic washer on R6 tube
when full throttle mine gets a weird neutral thingy did you have anything like this

R3 is your dream bike? I absolutely love mine but I want to upgrade to an R6 and keep my R3 for a backup.
@@rustyshackleford4514 I've had mine for three months and I'm ready for an r6 or MT09. Mostly because I have a tough time keeping up with my friends on the highway. On the twisties I can stay with them and have to slow down for them
Does it work on 2017 version?
would you happen to know if these will fit a 21' i've been noticing in some websites the 20' is as far as most listings go and i've had some confusion while looking at dimensions

What exactly are you adjusting? Can I over adjust it? Or is it only the fast return that you’re adjusting?
Throttle cable adjuster. Makes the throttle cable tighter or looser. He needed to adjust it bc he noticed his throttle was getting a little stuck so he loosened it a bit

Hey, so i just changed my throttle tube on my R3 to a R6 tube and now theres delay in acceleration and i can see the rpms jumping up and down as i turn the throttle, i nearly fell as turning because my RPMS randomly went up in the turn. BTW im really low on fuel if that helps with anything
@@MotoGearSolid i solved it, it was my stupid clutch cable that was engaging/disengaging while riding lol, i forgot to mention i also installed a new clutch lever
if i have a 2015 r3, what year r6 tube do i get? worried ill get the wrong one

Did you happen to lube the cable channels? Cause it doesnt sound like you lubed the cable channels
