- Hey everyone. Back again with another update on my 2000 Yamaha R6 project. In the last video, I took the bike apart. Off camera. I did some long overdue deep cleaning off. The bike had been sitting for years and it needed it badly.
Once that was done, I got back to work. I replaced some old parts and made sure the existing ones still worked, The goal by the end of this phase was to see if this bike even turned over and then try to start it.
I had no clue. I ran into some issues but ultimately, the effort was worth it. Can't believe how quick this project has come together.
It's looking very promising and I can't wait to see it all completed.

this is so satisfiying to watch. I dream of doing this myself after I have a garage or space. Thanks for the inspiring content.
Hey bud, are you headed to Port Dover for Friday 13th this week?
Waiting part 3 )
Great job on restoring her! I wish I was able to do something like this. I would love to be able to do a cafe racer build
Hi, waiting part 3, saludos ! 😊
still waiting on part 3 😅
What battery did u put in there?
#20 ЛОЙС!
Dude I see you Toronto Blue Jays hat. I would like you to look over my bike if you're okay with that. Im in Toronto. Not sure if you are, but just a shot in the dark
@@MotoGearSolid I'm buying the same r6 bike and it would mean a lot to if you could give it a once over
have you actually bought and installed those fairings in description ?
Your comments on my facebook post led to me your videos and they are extremely helpful considering i'm building the same r6 in similar condition, but for the fairings does that mean I can have them paint the fairings a single color and no extra charge ? also how is the quality for the money ? most other kits i see are a lot more expensive
@@MotoGearSolidinteresting, guess i'll go with the ones you've used. Thanks for the videos, extremely helpful 🙏🏽
@@MotoGearSolid what size bolts did you use to install the ignition though ?
Age hasn't slowed you down one bit
