HDMI Camera into Mevo Multicam?! Major New Mevo Capabilities!

With the Mevo Go or Mic beta app, new doors of possibilities are now opening up!
Using Mevo Multicam, not only can you use your mobile device as a camera source, you can use it to share local videos and pictures, but you can can screen share your device. Using a "USB Camera" app from the google Playstore, I was able to bring my camcorder into my tablet and share into Mevo Multicam!

That is possible through the Mevo Go app that is downloaded onto your phone you want to bring into Multicam. Use of the app and functionality is through a subscription to the Mevo Pro plan. You can find more information here: www.mevo.com/pages/pro

Any updates? I have been able to successfully get the feed from my Handycam into the USB Camera App, and get that feed to go to Mevo Multicam through Mevo go. However, the delay is AWFUL. It appears as though it just sends a new frame every couple of seconds...no smooth video whatsoever. Any thoughts?

I don't really have updates specific to this procedure. Like you mentioned the delay is present which limits the content that I would use this method for. I did not experience the delay or stuttering you're describing however. Network and the capabilities of the devices used may be playing a part in your issue. How does one handle the delay? It is not working out the audio with the video sync is super off

Delay is an issue for sure. I’m doing some more playing around with this to see how much delay is present. What has your experience been?
