Not that most people know this, but Dusan Gavric is played by Marcel Iures, who is a Romanian actor. Furthermore, I've known guys who actually fought in the Balkans War. One was a South African mercenary (ex Recce) who flew aid helicopters to deliver food and water to those who were besieged. The others... They went in as hopeful, patriotic Serbian boys, then came out as faded wrecks old before their time, all because a few top guys were played by the global powers that be which didn't want to deal with the consequences of self determination when dealing with one Yugoslav hegemon was deemed to be easier. And then people died...
