I got the regular M18 vac about a year ago. Love it! It’s good little tool for quick vac jobs, cleaning the car and the grill when u don’t want to drag out the big vac and extension cords.

I do like that Milwaukee is coming out with a corded option on a vac as well. I do love their cordless but i always said I wish some of their higher demand tools had the dis power option. One reason I never bought one of their miter or table saws. At the price point they are selling them at i would love the second power option. Looks like Milwaukee is listening now.

Good video you do not talk too much as it is helpful for us that is researching a product. Thoughts on using for a car vacuum for personal use not everyday use. Favorite M12 I have is the ratchet. No other line can touch the ratchet in the M12 line for the size and power.

Wound up grabbing the Milwaukee packout vac and the stick vac for $120/pop last year on hack and the m12 hand vac on sale for $50 (and still want the m18 compact vac, lol). The only thing I remember hearing about the m12 was the issues, so I never gave it a look. Thanks for the hands on rundown of how it’s run for you. I’d grab it on hack or nice sale… like you said, for the price of a battery your getting a vacuum too, lol

Plus I bought the 3.0 batteries cuz I didn’t know they had the 6.0 batteries. I’d like to return the whole thing and buy the big one like you are showing. Ignorance can be expensive.

@@KompleteTechCrew Correct. Bare tool. We never have the same stock as in the US. It's always less regardless if it's HD, Lowes, Walmart and so on. A quick check shows the only battery special at HD is for two different Dewalts. Another is the M18 router for $198, was $249. Great router, I got it last year for $198.

Yes Sir! I Recommend This Vac For Light Duty Applications. It Is A Great, Powerful Vac But It Drains The Battery Quickly. I Have Not Experienced Any Overheating Or Battery Failure Issues. I Use It Daily In My Truck And On Job Sites. It’s Very Well Built. I Believe The Defective Models Were Pulled From The Shelf During The Early Release Of This Vac.
A bit off topic, but have you used the M12 Soldering Iron or rotary tool by any chance? I'm thinking of getting those for my road kit. I have the drill/driver kit already.
Yes Sir! I Utilize The Rotary Tool Frequently For Access Control Door Hardware Installation. I Utilize The Soldering Iron To Assemble XLR/Neutrik Connectors. Both Of These Tools Have Performed Incredibly.

I gotta second this m18 pack-out vac downgrade - like you said - the ideas there but more times than not it just feels cumbersome and anti smooth. I’m somewhat bitter I sold the m18 vac when I picked up the pack out one - ONLY thing that it has in the (+) Column are a. Packout and b. The adapter c. Threaded ends for the adapters Now that I say that why aren’t ALLLL the attachments threaded? Then make all the attachments threaded as well for a “universality” upgrade if u will
