big experience with hard lessons, working with European cars is always tricky if you don't have proper knowledge and experience. however, i pick up valuable experience and knowledge by working and repairing this faulty "Front Driver Side Window Motor Regulator Assembly". if you notice that your windows are not properly functioning you need to take a look or take it into an authorized shop or dealership for proper inspection. but, i made it through with diagnosing the problem and fixing the problem, but with major roadblock i broke the window, because i have no choice and replace it with out-pocket money. i hope my video helps you guys out there with replacing your front driver window motor regulator assembly.

I had the exact same scenario; I just watched your video and changed my regulator assembly without breaking glass. I bought some plexiglass 2 feet wide and 3 feet long $20 bucks. Fit the plexiglass on the outside of window. Took out my speaker to maneuver with some space in door. I then pushed bottom of regulator assemble part towards plexiglass and shimmed it down to unclip window. The process is not instant, but it did the trick without breaking glass.

thank you for letting me know about your experience. but unfortunately mine I break the glass, because I have big hand I don't have enough space to unclip the window glass. but hey cheers you did great also thank you for watching my video and putting comment about your experience.

yes if window is up its easier to disconnect the window, but its unique style of window regulator connector thats attached to the window glass. good luck

On the video. the window was already down. So, the customer brought it to your shop already like that right?
So how can you work on it if yiu cant pull it up. You have to break it in order to get to it?

Before they bring to me, window are all the way up, and it's not working and while they press the button it accidentally rolls down and that's it's and did not work again. And yes to answer your questions. Just a bit of history for the car.
