Block breather valve at AIR intake Pipe side with silicon seal and make shure that litle vacum tube is good. That solved mi problem with oil consumption. Befor vas 1L/1000KM now ITs 0.7L/7000KM.
This type of engine can have oil consumption because bad piston rings. In my case on 3000km 1l of oil, i put TOTAL, CASTROLL, SHELL 10w-40, but in every case same problem.
Thank you so much! I'm changing the timing belt atm.. without your videos it would take much longer 🙏🏼🙏🏼
Question ? Why you use the two little holes in the tensioner? There is a 8mm Allen key hole there
Why did you not change the hydraulic tensioning damper against an mechanical system?
Hi!
How long do Audi4 ALT timing belts last?
very helpful video, thanks
does yours like to drink oil as well? and what kind of oil you use?
Valentin Florian Yes, it does. I use either 5W-30 or 5W-40. The latter burns less oil.

Can you post a list with the material and tools needed?
Good vedeo 👍
Are these engines reliable?
I believe so, they are N/A so no engine stress

27 nm for the tensioner roller is too much. I stripped the nut so i just hand tightened it
