Bullsh*t! Went to the Baptist hospital downtown with hemoglobin at 5 needed 2 transfusions and was released no insurance. Went back a week later hemoglobin the same they gave me 1 thing of blood this time refused to recheck my hemoglobin said I need to see a specialist and kicked me out. Went to University hospital a few days later needing a blood transfusion again and they admitted me and found out I had leukemia. They saved my life and helped me get insurance. Not all hospitals are the same the money hungry ones will do the minimum.
@@prmami4u216 A good lawyer will sue the fuck out of them and get money from them! Most of these hospitals are both federal and state funded and MUST care for all regardless of insurance.
I can tell you from experience as well , they will treat you , but they won’t admit you or do further test to actually treat why you were seen in the ER without insurance. This is a fact. It’s all about that $$$ I also tore all the ligaments in my right foot a few years ago and I was able to be seen for the broken ankle , but no mri , and no further test or talks about surgery ( witch I needed ) So it had to heal on its own and to this day my right foot is messed up because I didn’t receive the correct healthcare because I had no insurance. These are all facts
Im from Canada, Ontario. We have the best health care in the world. I have had to use it many times, and it would have cost me over 50k. If anyone complains about our health insurance, the government should re dact it from them. Make them pay.

Absolutely not.................... My mom has been turned away from 3 different hospitals after being told she has cancer cells in the fluid they drained from her abdomen but now body will diagnose her or getting treatment started. This has been a living nightmare for me and I've been treated badly by so many different people in there medical field since we've learned of this cancer in November. Time after time she was sent away from the ER since August 15,2019 and November is when they finally drained the fluid and found the cancer cells. We've been referred to both Rocky Mountain Cancer Center and UC Health's Oncologist and both places refuse to schedule an appointment without insurance.
If anyone walks into an ER without insurance its serious.... Trust me if you're having heart problems you'll call 911 idc who you are you're not waiting out a heart attack
I was forced to storm out of an India born Doctor because I had my insurance care, but no "photo ID". Despite the fact that the room was filled with illegals who weren't asked to show anything.
