    I got my rav4 hybrid beginning of this year, since then no problem with the car. Get all the job done as a family car and very good with fuel efficiency. Highly recommended with car users looking for med size family use SUV.

      Referring to various consumer reviews, did you experience any issues: (a) Fuel tank not filling up fully (abt 8-10 ltrs short. Somewhat common issue among US customers) (b) rapid battery depletion (Aussie consumer review)

      1) Tank issue wise I have no problem at all .It has,been nearly an year I have this car a single filled up tank able to run about 870km average. Sometimes my car able to do about close to 900km depends on the road conditions. A Filled up tank able to least be nearly 4 weeks before I need to top up again.
      2) Battery I think this is Toyota has to improve about battery capacity. It runs out quick but as you drives it charge up quickly I highly recommend not very suitable for EV mode. However it is not bordering me at all because the car already proven to be very good in fuel efficiency as a med size SUV in normal road performance and it is not electric car anyway so you can't expect an hybrid car to run like electric car similar on the market unless you want to go for Rav4 Prime which US version offer a better version of EV mode Hybrid car. Sadly Australia dont have prime Rav4.
      Anyway this just my review about my car after driven for an year. Overall a good hybrid car not the best luxury car but it is a decent good family SUV.

    Glad I found this, am more interested on the middle spec rather than the base or top spec. My question is can this vehicle do some light towing from time to time 200-500kg?. Can the CVT handle it?

    Now to bring on a diesel hybrid for the Prado! ❤️❤️

      Think Toyota isn't keen on diesel engines for passenger cars

      @@veebee3969 a Prado is heavy and more in line with a ute than a passenger car. It is too heavy and do too much towing and hard work not to be offered in diesel. In fact, you can’t get them in petrol anymore in Australia because no one bought the petrols for good reason. You need the torque of diesel.

    Where can I find the review on the cruiser model?

    Thank you for the video. Do you have an idea of Rav4 Cruiser Hybrid AWD's equivalent model in USA? They have different model names in there.

    Any idea whats the top speed on 2020 rav4 hybrid?. Im planning on one. We don't get much varients. Xle and limited for hybrid. Le for 2.5 awd. Le and xle for 2.0 fwd. I'm going for the 2020 rav4 hybrid limited.

    How does the GX fwd petrol perform in a steep uphill road? Does it easily maintain speed limit, say 80 kmh? - thanks

    • @PDriveTV
      @PDriveTV  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The GX 2.0L does ok. It is a bit sluggish low down but we think the auto might actually be better for uphill drives. We have a 0-100 video test of the GX 2.0L manual coming soon, which should give you more of an idea of how it goes anyway. Hope that helps.

      PDriveTV thanks. Yeah am after the auto.
      Also, I’ve read on Toyota News the new coming Rav4 GX petrol & hybrid will be fitted with premium features: button start, leather steering wheel, usb portals, rear&front mats... heard from a dealer will be available post October. But Guest experience doesn’t confirm ... Awaiting these anyway.

    Tucson, Tiguan and cx5 are much better options. If you test-drive one you will know it right away. Couldn’t stand the engine noise at 100km/h. This review should have covered the engine noise in depth.
