0:30 fun fact, baby zombie can ride other baby zombies. I can confirm this by the fact that i saw it myself when in an ominous trial and have a screenshot. Very cool :)
I’m surprised you didn’t mention the fact that in bedrock you can tip arrows with potion effects by interacting with cauldrons that have potions in them while holding arrows. It’s almost 3x more efficient than using lingering potions and you don’t need dragon’s breath for it
instead of giving the last missing pieces of efficiency 1 armor woodland mansion chests now give efficiency 1 wood signs surely something java would never have in the game
14:56 One of the more annoying related bugs to soul sand is Striders cannot exit lava onto soul sand shores, causing the player to have to find some other block to get out of the lava. It used to work but when they did the block height difference parity they created this Strider bug. Also, while it is true Outposts can generate in more biomes in Bedrock, they also have their spacing set much further apart so it is common to see multiple Outposts from one location in Java but not so much in Bedrock. And the fact that Bedrock still uses the legacy Outpost layout with only a max four substructures as compared to Java getting more cages, etc., it makes finding that first allay for my farms a lot harder.
6:59 Tridents thrown by players also don't despawn and can still work even after landing. This is used for trident killers which are a staple of bedrock mob farms. Also you forgot a cool feature where repeaters and comparators can't be broken by water. Water just flows through them
Not building on the Nether roof is the only major thing I don't like on Bedrock. I still prefer Bedrock despite growing up on Java, but I'd much rather be able to build Nether portals on the roof for ease and safety. My girlfriend didn't like the shield being crouch thing since she's used to Java more than Bedrock. That reminds me, another minor gripe is that offhanding items is weirder on Bedrock than Java.
I remember the first time I found out you could change armor stand positions was when I was playing Minecraft on the WiiU and I had a stand right next to my door that had a pressure plate in front of it, so when I went inside I got jumpscared by seeing the stand move in the corner of my eye
skeleton horses are like the one rideable mob you absolutely would want a saddle on, why are you forced to sit on that skinny spine with absolutely no padding
This would be a cool video to revisit in 5 or 10 years to see how many of these have been removed or migrated to Java. I would not be surprised if most of these are no longer unique or removed due to parity, except for the fundamental differences like the stripe lands.
What annoys the hell out of me is that armor stands have been able to have arms and pose on java since they were added but only with commands and/or datapacks, which is ridiculous
I grew up playing bedrock and I played it for almost 10 years but I’ve started playing Java a lot more in the past year (I’ve had Java for about 5 years now) and I do absolutely love both version but Java is much better and more customizable
Minecraft on switch is complete crap. Imagine flying with an eliytra for like 10 seconds before you get a message saying chunks are loading and not being able to move forward
As someone who grew up playing Minecraft before anything but Java edition existed, then switched to bedrock for years because of the performance only to then switch back to Java after downloading two dozen optimization mods. Both versions have their strengths and weaknesses, but for me there are just a few major deal breakers for bedrock. #1 I’m a redstoner, enough said. #2 the inability to easily download mods. #3 finding nether fortresses is so much harder. And #4 no building on the nether roof. At the end of the day it’s personal preference, but those are the reasons I will always and forever be Java gang, unless they achieve actual parity someday I guess. Edit: I can’t believe I forgot this but #5 why do we even have an offhand in bedrock if you’re only allowed to put like 3 items in it.
Also 05:30 you can get a potion farm with dripstone (I only got this far in the video as of commenting this, so if it's already been said, I'll probably remove this comment)
As someone who constantly is playing bedrock over Java when I have a PC, it’s nice to see someone else show me why it’s the future of Minecraft. I use Java to play infdev-beta Minecraft regularly.
2:46 Fun Fact, You Can Cheat In Hardcore, you just need Experiments on. Experiments trick the game into having cheats even the game also thinks youre not cuz of hardcore.. Some commands work and some are not.. Like if this is helpful! (Im not begging 4 likes) I can confirm this cuz i have modded hardcore world myself👍
Oh, I like this Video Idea ..and the Video The most annoying difference, by far, in my opinion, is the stripe land. The lands themselves are not the issue, but what creates them is. The game becomes frustrating to play beyond the X, Z coordinates of 20,000 because it starts to stutter and so on. As for the minecarts, I don’t consider that a bug. In the Java Edition, mobs don’t walk on Rails, which prevents them from unintentionally stopping the minecarts. However, in the Bedrock Edition, mobs have no issue walking on Rails, so theoretically, they could unintentionally stop the minecarts. That said, since minecarts are no longer affected by mobs at a certain speed, there’s no need to worry about it
And most of it probably going to be deleted or moves to java as well due to party. Maybe expect redstone and combat, unless it got update on both versions
Ok but curse forge has too much mods that just adds bedrock features that people want, i got bored and downloaded a random horror modpack (it's actually really good) and it came with bedrock building. But i do understand how bedrock is more accessible but maybe that should change
10:10 Only? But we can't activate Shield by crouching on Java. The right-click to shield on Java is annoying. Sneak to shield is better: - Holding right-click items. - Looking at doors, workbenches ETC - Using the crossbow - Riding boats, carts, and animals, brings up the shield automatically.
i just wish that there was a addon in the marketplace that would adjust world height? like if you want to make a big project and mods that increase the world height are only limited to JE
Dude. I figured out how to solve the netherite armor problem. What if you could duel weld swords and axes in your off hand and double crit and attack with them that way you can actually take damage during pvp instead of crystals and other methods.
Or if double critting is to op then still make it to where you can duel weld but the weapon in your right hand takes priority in the crit so you can only crit with the right hand weapon.
I finally gave up on Bedrock, so many bugs. Been playing Java for 3 months and it's been exactly 3 months since the wandering trader stomped my crops. 😂
12:38 I don’t know if it is a bug or something but every single time that I have killed the wither regardless of my position he would always go down in a straight line destroying everything and creating massive amounts of lag(I play on a ps4 btw)
Doors waterlogging is objectively good game design. The air pockets from Java doors invalid the need for Aqua Affinity, Respiration, Turtle Shells, and Water Breathing. 6 planks should not have that much power. (Plus... Titanic would have ended differently if doors worked that.)

Can you please post it on your Community?

Wither isn't the only buffed mob, Elder Guardian is too, making it much more worthy of being a boss.

@@QuicklyMan Java

12:12 Light Blocks are not a Bedrock Exclusive thing? Or are you talking about the command-only part?
Yeah, I’ve used them in Java so wasn’t sure about that one
Yeah, in the past it was a Bedrock exclusive, but in a recent update it was added to Java. You can get these lights with commands as well
I didn't know about the soul sand glitch, I'm glad I didn't have to discover it while fighting a ghast in the Nether.
