Minecraft Bedrock is the same as Minecraft for Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Windows 10, Windows 11, iOS/Android (Pocket Edition), and Chromebook. Also Minecraft for smart fridge of course.

the not easily replicatable bugs are the worst because... well... you can't know when they happen, you can't know how they happen, but it just happens
like building a wooden pillar and then die, or building over the void in the end and the bridge disappears below you. You just never know.
@@baked_horse that happens bc of low specs
Most of those look like client-server desyncs. Ive never seen a post specify whey they were playing when something like thay happens. Its probably some dropped packets, server movement being different to client movement for some odd reason, or not double checking what state a player is on when they look weird
Immortal villagers, enderpeals on memory, some chunk base corruption.. usually happens on big ass worlds amateurs don't get near 😂
I have everything farm and technological feat imaginable and my villagers fall from the sky in a random location 😂😂😂 explain it like I'm 5
7:21 skeletons fire too fast? ohhhh so *i* don't suck, *they* suck
@@fishtree685 And it has been that way since at least like 2018- You would think something that can be that detrimental would have been fixed a long time ago
I thought it was on purpose omg. Like a java wither vs bedrock wither thing where bedrock players just have harder enemies for some reason
@@-Solidwater LITERALLY, its so weird why something like this hasn't been fixed for years when it seems to be so easily fixable
Oh my god!!! One day around that time, i opened the game and i was getting shot by a skeleton and simply couldn't get close to it an i had this distinct feeling that something was wrong. I know why now . Thought i was going crazy
@@carnagesuperior2981
Bedrock skeletons on their first shot sometimes have quick response
one bug that regularly impacts my gameplay is whenever a mob walks over a chunk border on autosave or world load, it has a chance to fall through the world. it's more likely to happen on lower performance or on realms. i play on Switch, so it happens frequently to me. i can do a work around by making all my mob enclosures inside a chunk, and not on the border, but it's really obtuse because you can't toggle on chunk borders in Bedrock, so i either have to do the math, or use Chunkbase to find the borders
Something i do is set down a line of redstone lamps and redstone on the spot i want to track the chunk boundaries.. Then i go far enough to unload the area, trigger the line, then walk towards the location. Since everything loads in chunks, you get a clear indicator where the chunk boundary is by seeing the light stop.
It’d probably be even more effective now with copper bulbs since you can just turn back once the boundary has been tracked and unpower the line and the lights will remain as they were.
Ngl I wouldn't even bother playing the game if this happened to me. Simply not worth the time spent and shows a complete disregard for the players money and time that this can even happen.
at that point just play animal crossing
1:23 the breaking animation's problem is not because it uses black instead of grey, it's because it's completely opaque, while its supposed to be slightly transparent. Also, the highlights became shadows because they used black on it instead of white.
6:58 thats the longest ive seen an enderman stay in a boat on Bedrock
Fun fact: there was an old bug that was patched on Java that still exists on bedrock. The bug is mining faster when resetting your clicks. To clarify try mining when holing down your mine button between blocks then try releasing the mine button between blocks you will mine a little faster especially when using efficiency 4-5
So, lemme get this right. Once you break the block, you release, then trigger again on the next block?
@ yes essentially as soon as the block breaks release and press again, I think it was called click mining back in 2011
@ how it works is that between block breaking there is a “timeout” period basically making the block unbreakable for a split second, the slight pause in mining gets around that frame. Sorry if it sounds weird trying to account for touch, controller, and keyboard and mouse
Yes!!! Finally someone who it’s happened to as well. I’ve been doing this all the time whenever I start mining I thought I was going crazy. It also works when you mine blocks that are extremely out of reach (mining them from a few blocks away just before they are too far). The spike in efficiency is staggering when using common tools like stone or irob
lol ive actually noticed this but always assumed i was imagining things. its subtle and i have brain fog from allergies, so never found a way to articulate what was happening
It's very impressive how a multibillion dollar comapny can't recreate a game from 15 years ago built by 2 dudes, while having full access to the original game.
But why would you need to recreate Java, the whole point of bedrock is to be cheap and efficient for low end devices like androids, 3ds and others
Well, money and employees doesn't necessarily mean well done job lmao.
Also, the main reason as to why Bedrock is glitchy is because they constantly have to keep up with Java, and (as a game dev) you should know that if you keep adding, you'll keep debugging.
What could actually save Bedrock, is to just keep divided from Java.
Why on earth would they want to keep the two versions the same if you can't even crossplay with one and the other? It makes no sense.
@@Lil-normie-X To get an efficient version of actual Minecraft, not a buggy mess with unfaithful features that turns away players of the original as soon as they merely hear about the sloppy copy. Microsoft encouraged players to get the Bedrock edition, yet can't seem to figure out why it's not very popular with people who can get the Java one.
@Lil-normie-X actually this isn't the problem, the problem is that bedrock, on pc runs fantastically but on ANY other platform it instantly runs so bad it might as well not exist in the first place when legacy edition was what was the OG bedrock and it wasn't vrossplay but it ran and worked and did so very well
@Eddieyo I love legacy console edition, It had a better codebase and it ran many times better than Bedrock edition, You would never see a PS vita running Bedrock edition it just won't happen
13:07 since they fixed that i haven’t seen a single abandoned village
😮 I just realised I haven't seen one in a while either
They're so rare. If you want to see one just use chunkbase
2% chance
before that i used to find them more than the normal ones 😭
I have one on my main bedrock world. I didn't realize they're that rare now.

MCPE-150205 - Shield blocking is delayed
Caused by client delay, one of the bugs that annoys me the most
That explains a lot. Makes it really hard to kill skeletons, especially because you can't predict when they'll shoot
@@-Solidwateryou can, actually. It depends on distance.
its the same on java.
@@SmitePlayz1 no it absolutely is not lmfao, shield on java is nice and responsive, its perfect. Meanwhile, shield on bedrock is so unbelievably painful to use. it has felt so unresponsive this whole time and now i feel so vindicated in knowing why. this bug literally got me killed today in a hardcore world 🤦♂️
@@pebble312no it absolutely does the same on Java. I have audibly complained about my shield not doing its job on too many occasions recently to let that claim slide.
There's a saying in programming that "ugly code is bug fixes", rewriting any program to make it "clean" or "modern" makes it pleasant to program on and hated by actual uses. Microsoft has repeatedly shot themselves in the foot but never learn.
funny enough, the c++ version isnt any "cleaner"
@Cara.314 today I learned that IBM's C compiler is written in C++ and their C++ compiler is written in C. The more things change the more they stay the same?
That's just not true. Ugly code can be and usually is just as bad and well structured code doesn't mean the software will be bad.
@@nevemlaci The point, which I'm stealing from Joel on Software, is that issues can and should be fixed in small pieces, where you understand what everything does before you make a chance. Throwing it out to "do it right" does it wrong.

@@Chillipeffer doesnt work
Had a bug that caused all my villagers to fall through the floor to a deathly fall. Lesson learned always double or triple thick the floor
It's suggested to do that anyway cause of endermen
and make the floor out of the transparent blocks
There's 2 bugs related to the warden that really bother me. One is if you try and distract it while it's sniffing, it'll walk towards you instead. The other is that it can hear you walking off a wool block, so you can't have a wool staircase since it will hear you walking off each block down.
Yeah that's a problems
I think the game thinks you're walking on... air, so it makes a sound i guess. I belive when warden is sniffing sound distractions wont work since it's using its smell, and depending on how close you are, he will just go to you, so take a bath.
@@kennycoolll6998 I don't think it's intentional though is the really annoying thing. I don't feel comfortable going to the deep dark in survival because I feel like things aren't going to work as intended.
If you throw something within a certain range it will detect you. You have to be ~40+ blocks away for it not to detect you when distractinh
@@txrnip That's not what I'm talking about. It's not supposed to come towards you if you distract it while crouching, but it does it anyways if it's doing the sniffing animation. I don't think it's supposed to do that. Maybe it does that in Java also?
2:15 Bug: the player is higher than it should be inside of the boat, this makes the player have an visual glitch when is in a boat and it try to pass though an 1.5 block hight gap.
(Extra bug: the floating animation of the boat actually make's the player go up allowing the player taking damage inside of the block 2 block gap)
It’s way more broken than legacy console edition
yes
I’ve never seen a bug on console
@@TheRedSauceBandit you mean bedrock or console legacy
@@ThePro-p1z sorry my bad, I meant legacy edition. I’m playing it right now and I still don’t notice any huge bugs. I’ve been playing legacy edition since I was 4 and never noticed anything that broke the game
@@TheRedSauceBandit Yeah me also I’ve been playing for 12.5 years now since Xbox 360 edition came out on May 9th 2012 and I also got an Xbox One and Minecraft Xbox One edition for my 10th birthday in July 2016 and since than I’ve never seen a bug in console edition and I encountered my first bug in the first few minutes when bedrock edition came out
I absolutely love it when I place or break about 20 blocks in a row just for the game to update and completely undo my work and leave me floating in the void
Actually just noticed a similar visual glitch to the shield one yesterday with armor that has armor trims, say if I were to equip boots from my hot bar and replace them with the armor trim ones that I'm wearing, now the plain ones in my hot bar also look like they're trimmed.
And one more going off of the sign text being visible through the glass, with the new copper grate/ see through block there are some similar visual texture issues with rain as well
On PS4: 90% of the time, breaking blocks just doesn't work, and if it does, it takes a few seconds for a block to actually break
It sounds like it is extremely laggy, same for me when there are lots of entities loaded
The PS4 is old hardware at this point. There is that common meme a PS4 sounds like a jet engine, and its because the system is already strained. Try changing your settings to run fast graphics and lowering the render distance.
Nah mate, I think that’s specifically a problem with yours
That’s been an issue with the ps4 ever since bedrock, even on launch. Legacy console still works perfectly, ps3 runs less buggy than bedrock does on the ps4, a literal mobile game
SSD fixed the problem for my first gen pa4 4gb
Strangely, bugs 5 and 22 are both intentional. Iron golems and villagers won't drop down more than a single block to avoid getting stuck in deep holes they can't get back out of and pigs spawn more frequently in cherry groves because they're pink I guess? I just remember the pigs in cherry groves specifically being mentioned in changelogs, so it is intended.
What a terrible game design
I was going to say they wont jump off 3 blocks zombies don't even jump off 3 blocks iirc they go around.
4:48 ummmm look that that lava not flowing in the water

❌Not getting on the parrot
✅Not bringing the parrot
So relived to learn that the map icon is a bug, I thought Mojang was just trying to make bedrock players lives harder
as a java player, it looks normal to me. java maps get rid of the arrow once you are outside the bounds of the map. main reason I can see this being a problem is that bedrock players don't have a way to find their facing direction
also idk if this is in Java too (pretty sure it’s not but idk) the marker just disappears once you are far away enough from the square it shows so you have no way of knowing where to go
@FadedBlade120 as far as I know, it just gets a little bit smaller to indicate that you're really far away in java
Why can't you use the motion of the sun or stars to figure out direction?
The shield visual glitch also applies to loaded crossbows and armour with trims.
There is also a glitch that causes concrete powder to not become concrete when in contact with waterlogged blocks.
You say a lot of the ones people talk about are rare, but i have the block disappearing after placing multiple happen almost every time I touch the game. Not to mention the pathetic performance that leads to me freezing mid combat and just dying
Low end device?
@Cactuscatkylefr in my 7 years of playing minecraft I've never witness those glitch and most of the bugs the person are a feature not bugs it's like differences
@Cactuscatkyle more like poorly optimized. If no man's sky can run on the switch Minecraft doesn't have an excuse
@@kclalmami7548 I don't know why you are telling this to me when I didn't say anything bad about bedrock, but ok
@@carnagesuperior2981 minecraft does kinda have an excuse since nintendo is using a pretty old chip that came out in 2015, and the switches power is between a ps3 and a Xbox one which isnt the best. But sometimes minecraft doesn't have an excuse, for example, in the most recent event (for the cape). The event was unplayable and kept crashing on the switch.
2:22 clearly the player is just using their fingers, we just can see them as they aren’t rendered unfortunately
Don’t worry everyone, after 1 more year of waiting, we will finally get one new mob with nothing else added to the game and no bugs fixed along with maybe even a feature no one asked for like chat filters

8:56 This wouldn't be a problem if compasses pointed towards the Cardinal Directions (NWSE) as opposed to the world spawn. However, the sun and moon always rise in the east and set in the west.
Wait, tools decreasing in durability when you use them for non tool purposes is a bug?!
Nope. He just majorly misunderstood the bug report.
The bug report he showed was about the fact that changing what item you're holding won't reset how much a block has been broken.
@ Thank you for clarifying.
4:12 That's the wrong bug link there. That bug talks about switching items while breaking a block (so you start breaking wood with an axe and finish with a salmon to save durability), but the bug shown in video was a shield taking durability damage when used to break a block.
7:46 that'd gotta be the smallest tree ever
Lmao that's just a common taiga tree type
At 4:08 maybe at some point they were gonna have a shield bash attack mechanic or does it do more damage on mobs than other non-weapons? Because some shields IRL are and have been meant to be used like that so it would make sense.... or its just a bug lolol.
It's likely neither.
The bug he showed in the screenshot isn't what he was showing in Minecraft.
The screenshot's bug was how changing what item you're holding won't reset how much a block has been broken.
@@Kourindouinc I never mentioned screenshot.
@@averymasters What I'm saying is that a shield losing durability after breaking a block is not a bug. The bug report shown in the video wasn't related at all.
Your arm in first person should be the most obvious one. It blows my mind that nobody notices the stubby, short arm.
Or the fact that punching the air makes a contact sound.
Hey toycat, the creator of MCPE-184843 (the locator maps bug) here, i'm wanna to say thankyou for raising this up! :)
I'm still hoping they revert this changes, i'm going to be sad if they decided to close this as WAI since i mainly reported these for my disabilities friends (can't say what kind of disabilites to respect her privacy), she like using locator maps to explore/navigate her world since it's easy to understand which direction she currently in by looking at her player marker, but now she can no longer do that due to these changes.
I'm a bedrock player, I always had to dig out snow so Iron Golems would get over and fling the strays across the snowy taiga
Because those metal robots cant jump over 2 layers of snow
The magma block one is a bug because the damage you take currently would be the damage you would take underwater if you were standing on it
Blocks becoming invisible in my hot bar and causing that spot to be unusable and having to re open the world is the most often bug for me at the moment
Well, well, well... Personally, Those major bugs never happened to my 3 years of Minecraft Bedrock Experience. May be Im just a bit lucky... I hope they gets fixed and and I really want some features on Bedrock that java has:
1. Faster Regenaration as Java.
2. Left Hand like Java.
3. Better World Customizing Options instead of just a flat world toggle.
4. Mods that doesn't adds any in-games or doesn't affects mob behaviour, won't disable achievements.
The point of mods disabling achievements is to prevent any player from cheating by using add-ons that give them an advantage over vanilla
Java regeneration is too fast imo.
If they want difficulty to mean something, as they clearly do with the recent keep inventory changes, hard mode should retain bedrock's slow regeneration.
@@dougsvoboda6091ppl just never played Minecraft before 1.9
Just let me have torches in my offhand, please...
@@dougsvoboda6091 Oh man yesterday I died in my hardcore world in Bedrock... 😭 Enderman was hitting me... I tried eating golden apples (crafted from bastion gold blocks and apples) but those golden apples had slower regeneration than java normal regeneration... And I was on a flat land and already had 5 hearts, such a bad luck for me :"(
Once while me and my friend were raiding an endcity and i fell a few blocks onto a shulker to kill it but it became untargetable and completely ignored me, a minute or so later i just died with my deathmessage claiming that i “fell from a high place”
2:29 There are still issues with the bedrock boats lol.
1 the paddles move faster than on java
2 Theres no rowing sound effect
3 the hands should move down when in first person when rowing
It's insane how so many bugs that I thought were features were actually real bugs, and there's so much subtle bugs that I didn't know about. That's insane!
It's embarrassing how the buggiest version is the same one that is so aggressively monetized 😬😬😬
Not being able to tell which direction you're facing when off the map is not a bug. The texture has existed in the game files to show when you're off the map and was just never used before. It's actually really helpful when taking the guess work out of knowing when you're off the map so you know it's safe to open a new one without making the same map again.
Before this you just had to overshoot your target to make sure you weren't still standing on the previous map. Chances are if you're traveling by map anyways you're somewhere on the surface of the overworld. You can navigate by looking at the sun/moon as it always rises in the East and sets in the West. I actually really like working that out when traveling and was happy to see they fixed the issue with the map icons not displaying properly.
1:00 screenshotting isn't a realms exclusive anymore? Yay!
U can just take on for ur device
As a BE player I didn't realize so many of these were bugs and thought they were features 😭
Also maybe I don't suck as much as I thought I did, if skeletons shoot faster than they're supposed to
I hate the inventory glitch where for some reason items will be stuck to a slot. I have to rejoin every time to fix it...
I usually get around that by being patient. If I pick-up more items or add things to my inventory, the bug usually goes away.
I thought no one would talk about this
I hate shovelling snow for this reason, seems to only occur with items that stack to 16
Why don't they just add the ability to exit without saving? This plus like 15 minutes auto save would make bedrock at least playable.
Both features removed from legacy to bedrock :(
If you really want to play bedrock without bugs. Just play on a pc or a new gen console. Never experience bugs on a series x but switch is often buggy since its like 8 years old now

Can't unsee it lol
there's many bugs I've seen be born and still remain unfixed... some items like: strings, coal, arrows, etc; have a different swing, idle animation. also if you change texture resolution for these items, they become visually bigger.
from another players perspective, when you fly with an elytra, you just don't have a flying animation, instead... you just stand still.
if your armor has thorns enchantment, when you get hit by any entity, the sound of "putting armor on" will play.
these bother me the most. also the disgusting view bobbing that is slow to recover and is so wobbly bobbly around ew
10:55 also, this works for armor trims, too, your armor trim will mix for other armors and sometimes it's even kinda hard to figure out which one is the one you need
7:08 They should make the endermen teleporting out of boats a feature. Like it makes sense that it wouldn't be able to be just trapped in a boat
Actually I would prefer if they just removed the boat can trap hostile entities as a whole
Leave it as a minecart only feature so people can still move stuff but remove the boat it's too cheap
@@B.L.U.S-- Leaving a vehicle when damaged makes sense, but boat traps are cool. Why not add actual traps?
@@TlalocTemporal boat traps are boring and just makes any enemy a joke, i say the same to using the DEBUG menu to see coords
@@B.L.U.S -- Actual traps would be more expensive and able to be balanced.
Co-ords I -might- agree with, if large maps and map notation was usable. As it is now without co-ords, your friend will spend 45 minutes finding your base just 150 blocks away, and possibly get permanently lost in the endless temperate biomes. If there was a markable scaling map or cheap public lodestones -and- a way to use them that's not lost on death, then maybe.
I actually do like the idea of not having co-ords so exposed, possibly needing special items to discern like a sextant and some form of depth meter, but looking for your friends for 40 minutes when you spawn in isn't fun. There -has- to be a way of sharing arbitrary positions to a player with no items remotely. Crafting some cheap items is fine, but even redstone or paper is already too much hassle.
@TlalocTemporal oh someone who actually contemplates no coords instead of going: I grew up with them so I'm not turning it off
Anyways those are valid criticism for lacking coords
And because the way you type I a bit confused but I think you meant one of the issues is not being able to mark locations on a map(other issue being new players in a server) and that's not a problem at all! You can use banners to mark locations on a map and by renaming the banner on anvil you can make the name appear the only problem I have with those marking is their size being a bit too big Wich makes small things(like a 2x2 or smaller hole) difficult to find on a max size map
On top of that a max size map is 1024x1024 blocks large so unless one of your friends really wants a specific biome it's possible to connect 4 maps together and cover an entire friend group's bases even then 9 maps will do the work in cases where you need more and after that point the one who wants a biome should really check if they didn't do some unlucky action(Wich is me on most cases) or give up
About new joins you can always go meet the new join to guide them or had left a map or series of it to guide him to your base at world spawn(found trough the compass)
Bedrock edition is competing with Sonic Adventure DX to see which one is the worse port
I knew there was something weird about the skeletons firing speed!
Also one thing I can say, especially for the nether, enemies feel like they spawn way too much. Don't know if its a bug, but man its a little absurd, especially with ghasts.
Raise your simulation distance off of 4. Never have it on 4.
The Nether spawn rates has been on the bug tracker for a while, I barely see any ghasts in videos of java edition but I constantly had 2 targeting me in bedrock.
This may be because of how mob spawning works in bedrock edition (I believe it's much more localized around the player for performance reasons)
I thought that at some point but mentally accepted it because it's literally a simulation of hell
This needs to be a speedrun category.
They should keep the Cherry pig bug!! Pigs are pink, cherry grove is pink… it makes sense!!
My biggest annoyance with bedrock comes from boats.
I am glad they don’t require a shovel to craft anymore.
The health of the boat is still insane though. The worse part, it takes massive amounts of durability from your tools if you want to do more damage and even more so if you spam click.
Sometimes opening a chest in my PS4 bedrock edition causes massive (3 second) lag. This seems like sub-optimal coding...
Oh, at least on split-screen multi-player, crafting is laggy as helllll
Mate its a ps4 … its old.. dont blame the game.. my gf and i tried setting up minecraft on xbox one and it was UNPLAYABLE. The new gen hardware minecraft vs old is night and day
@@JuggWalkerBedrock is just poorly optimized. More optimized than Java but compared to Legacy console it is very laggy.
9:46 you missed the bug where boats have 10 hearts of health on Bedrock
13:25 They release a load of betas but still accidentally gives the wrong rarity to items
7:09 that creeper was like: dont worry bro i got you
Couple of thoughts:
1. You missed during the first night that on hard mode spiders don't spawn with potions effects. (But you did mention it in a previous bug video a few months ago)
2. Oftentimes, I see people complain about bugs that have already been fixed years ago.
These people don't play the game, but just want to bandwagon with the majority of bedrock haters for internet points. Seriously, I recently saw someone complaining that bedrock is terrible because it doesn't have banner shields even though that was fixed 2-3 years ago.
Nah, what we need to complain about (though it's a parity issue, not a bug) is that we can't use banners to mark locations on maps like Java players
the lava not expanding is a bug 2:35
14:47 it also goes through candles!
Thats a cool video idea
Unfortunately, I am not satisfied with the selection of bugs. The three bugs in the sky, MCPE-186551, MCPE-179454, and MCPE-67923, which almost constantly affect gameplay, were not mentioned. Also, the critical bug that makes it impossible for some players to play on PS4 (MCPE-179572) was not mentioned, nor the bug that forces me to reinstall the game multiple times a day (MCPE-177693). However, the latter bug seems to be fixed in the preview at least.
These are the bugs that currently frustrate me the most - the latter bug being the worst.
These are the bugs that are ruining the gaming experience for me personally.
If you could, could you explain these bugs?
@@crimsoncapricorn188 The Three Sky Bugs: The sun shrinks inexplicably and extremely when viewed directly or at sunset. When it starts or stops raining or thundering, the sky's color changes abruptly without a smooth transition. Additionally, the sun, which enlarges when looked at, lacks a fluid texture transition as it grows.
The bug that makes the PS4 version unplayable simply causes the game to freeze regularly for no apparent reason-resulting in frequent freeze screens lasting several seconds. I used to have to regularly uninstall the game, delete all game data (including world data), and reinstall it just to avoid this bug for the next three days. Since the PS5 version of Minecraft was released, I can play that version and am spared from this issue. Some Players who don’t have a PS5 are unable to play the game anymore.
The last bug causes certain animations to stutter repeatedly and inexplicably-water, rain, item-swapping animations, and, worst of all, the FOV change when starting or stopping a sprint. This makes the camera stutter, causing dizziness. For me, it has become normal to reinstall the game 3 to 4 times a day, as this temporarily fixes the bug for several hours.
8:10, SB737 got this bug in his bedrock hardcore video! Check it out for yourself!
he got in java fool
@Goop101_0 in his latest video in his main channel he posted the bedrock hardcore 100 days and he saw a floating shipwreck in bedrock hardcore!
8:54 you missed the fact that the right hand is lower than the left, not holding the map, because at some point they made the hand lower in bedrock. It also bobs way more
And this is meant to be the new main version, that explains my issues with Mojang, they dont have a clue what they are doing with this game.
I tried playing Bedrock for 1 year (I primarly play Java), worst bug I encountered was when I would enter The End dimension and 1 chunk would be replaced with a end island, this would happen everytime in the same chunk, which made me go back to Java. For reference: MCPE-129581
i’ve always played java and never experienced any major bugs. every few weeks or so maybe a inventory slot would be buggy and wouldn’t work for 4 seconds. Most of the bugs on bedrock only occur on crappy devices like a switch
If only they fixed the bugs as fast as they fix the store being down
I played Bedrock with my friends, and we encountered insane lag (the world host was fine and it would improve if the world host turned down his render distance, what), randomly taking damage when running on flat ground, sometimes even dying from said damage, then we lost a stack of iron to lava due to another glitch.
5:42 i always find this incredibly frustrating when building larger things as it tends to throw it way off.
Also they seem to let light through which may or may not be a bug
@swankierSpy2658 them being transparent is completely intended. It's been that way for a very long time even on Java and legacy. Is actually a really good way to make a perfectly lit base because you can build the floor out of slabs with an extra layer of lights underneath the slabs
@@carnagesuperior2981 ok :)
@@carnagesuperior2981 Actually, they don't let light through on java, They are transparent to Redstone (you can't power them) but not light.
@catsup1308 being transparent also applies to walls and fences connecting to adjacent blocks; fences and walls won't connect to glass, for example
I've seen the banner shield bug happen with trimmed armor, too. The armor will sometimes appear trimmed in the inventory, but when you put it on, it has no trim.
To be honest, as a bedrock edition player I only experienced these bugs on the PE version of the game and with experimental toggles on in the pc version which is to be expected since it’s been tampered with. But playing a vanilla game on pc I don’t really see many of the issues people point out. Idk if it’s exaggeration of a meme but I’ve never had an unfair death to bugs on bedrock pc
You are lucky, at some point it happened to me a lot, now it is stable, i don't randomly die anymore each time i go thought a new nether portal for the first time
I used to play the switch Version (which really nobody knows how to optimize switch games so ya know) but even then the bugs arnt THAT bad
I never got a random death bug, but I've died a lot during loading screens (once I got pushed into water after opening the world, all the other times I tried to go to the nether and got killed before loading in)
But ig it balances out because once I fell from pretty high up and didn't take any damage. I thought maybe some nearby water saved me but I heard the hitting the ground sound effect so idk
@@Pettamer22 getting bugs isnt normal. getting bugs is rare, not vice versa. ive been playing this game since 2019 and played on a crappy phone with my friend and still never faced bugs.
@@-Solidwater Thankfully they gave us invincibility in loading screens just before Bundles of Bravery came out. At least for Nether portals.
I honestly like that the regen doesn’t flash as I’m someone with photosensitive seizures, when I play on Java I have to look away while I regen because of it, and yes flashing “that little” can set me off on a seizure
I might play Bedrock once they add a pause button
Bro most if those aren’t bugs because it’s just how the game was made…
These are all certified bugs by Mojang.

The fall damage from lava. 😂
Java speed runners use help from a piechart while looking through their much easier nether
A few months ago, some of my friends started a Minecraft Relm. When I was added, I found do many bugs that I just kinda thought were just that way on Bedrock (im a Java player). While some have been fixed, it's still really crazy the fine details that really just feel wrong. And then, there's the ones that usually killed me: the fact you can take damage from inconsistent distances. It was torture. I wonder what happened to that relm; most of us stopped playing pretty early on
I feel like everyone has different experiences. I mainly play bedrock with some modded java and never experienced any major bugs on bedrock. Even just small bugs only happen every few weeks and they are fixed by rejoining or waiting a few seconds
3:46 i had found something similar to this. It was when I was transporting a villager by boat but it kept getting stuck on the path blocks. I presume it is to do with the very marginal block height between path blocks and grass blocks.
boats dont get stuck on pathblocks they get stuck on the hight difference between fullblocks. it's not a bug, but annoying intended behaviour haha.
@@NitroDSIt’s much faster just to place water and pick it up in front of you anyways. still annoying if you forgot a bucket
@@Diherd2 pistons are my go to when dealing with boats needing to climb up
@@NitroDS never thought of using pistons but it would work. I always just place a water bucket up where i need to go and use the boat to float up. Gotta be careful or it kicks the villager and you out
@@Diherd2 java player, boats do not float up when water is placed near them
6:55, 14:25 - Interesting you bring up Endermen being able to teleport out of boats. Just recently I had an incident where I Boated an Enderman, looked at it to make it hostile, and punched it unarmed because I was too lazy to get a weapon. After about 20 seconds of Crit-punching it, it randomly stopped taking damage and after a little while I started taking high amounts of damage from various directions even though nothing was around me, and I died. The game credited my death to the Enderman even though I was out of reach of where it was - it was still physically in the boat from my perspective, but it must have got out without being visually updated, and attacked me as normal. If they've had issues with boats in the past, that tells me they never actually properly fixed Boated Endermen.
Is a efficiency 1 cauldron a bug? I found it at the mansion
It's a longstanding bug that seems to change item every update. Toycat has mentioned it frequently.
When I played a year ago, I had a farm with many layers of crops (2 blocks space so i can walk in there) and by walking over certain blocks it would cause the crops UNDER to break just like when you jump on em
Minecraft Bugrock edition when you try to play the game as intended:
play it on new gen consoles and literally none of these happen
There's a glitch where killing another player at a certain time causes them to respawn floating and untouchable. On their screen, they are a ghost. Everything is off, including the time of day and weather; they can be attacked by invisible mobs, and none of the world loads; they walk on a black void. I have a video clip of it on a USB drive somewhere; I'm just too lazy to find it right now.
speedrun, bug hunt 30 minutes.
Goes by number of bugs found in 30 minutes of a random seed
FINALLY a speedrunning catagory for bedrock!!!
15:00 man what's the seed, that looks so good
You should also do this in Java to compare.
I bet there are actually more bugs in Java but most of them are minor or considered features by most players, while the Bedrock bugs are fewer but more severe or noticeable. Most of the bugs i get in Java are like redstone glitches (which most casual players would never encounter) but in Bedrock it's usually UI glitches like the text shows off the screen for some reason or my skin randomly changes to a default one, etc.
Yeah
The skin one is actually a feature.
If your skin is imported or not purchased from the marketplace, most of the time your avatar will be replaced by the default skin, with only the ones you already have or the free ones being available.
@@stepssombra2.0 that's a really dumb feature. Sounds like something Microtransactionsoft would do :/
@@brevortofficial I know,the strange that its just became a thing after 1.16 forward,I played 1.14 and 1.15 and it didn't happen
quasi connectivity is a bug that is now a feature
A few of these I didn't realise were bugs as I've only played bedrock. But the sprint jump is one of those things and I had no idea it wasn't intentional. I thought it was like skipping
Is scaffold clutch death a thing now? Lol i died from scaffold clutch no one told me it changed... I dont recall the change log 😂😂
I cannot tell what the fall damage mechanics are supposed to be with scaffolding
I watched your videos last back in like 2016-2017 when you were playing Minecraft Xbox edition; it’s so weird seeing you play on and mention a newer version of Minecraft 😂
You should do a video focusing on those lag-related bugs that cause people to die randomly, those deaths seem random but they are usually caused by some sort of server-client desync that is a lot more common on lower-end devices and consoles. You may not be able to replicate them on your PC but as a large bedrock creator, talking about it may help bring more awareness to the issue and what the causes are. It also might incentivize the developers to prioritize the issue. It's one of the main reasons that bedrock is known as bugrock.
Yeah. People think that those are bedrock's coding bugs, but are actually server-client related
@CubeCat1908 yeah but that stuff's all code too so they aren't wrong
@freeedleo yeah I know that's in code but I meant that it's more likely their devices or their connection because those bugs never happened to me in bedrock
I also think that many people just stage all these lag related bugs because normal people would realise that the world lags and that they should probably stop placing blocks above the void or lava but they still do it just because they get attention from this "bug" and everyone then thinks that bedrock edition has a lot of bugs
@CubeCat1908 these bugs also only happened to me when I played on the Nintendo switch and the world started to auto save which lags out the world for a minute. But I also think that everyone can survive these bugs if they would just act accordingly.
8:19 i think i can explain the ship one so if you ever had a sheep or whatever animal pen you know if they load in they load in completely diffrent from where they should and then really quickly teliport to the spot they should be in i have seen the ship one and always after i get close it teliports in the place it should be
I hate how some Java players just say features in bedrock are "bugs" just because they're different than Java.
That's like saying the smallest black hole has a lot of flaws because it's not as big as Pheonix A. That doesn't make any sense -_-
yeah i agree
Like what.
The hell kind of analogy is that? There's tons of comparisons you can make, but that one just doesn't work.
@edenwayne8407
That's my point, it doesn't make sense.
@SomeRandomAsian33 I know the point that you're making, but the choice of using celestial bodies as an equivalent for the situation just doesn't work. Java and Bedrock are two versions of a game which are very different but still try to be consistent with the general function and appeal of minecraft, while black holes are just natural objects that exist independent from one another without any intent to fulfill.
1:47 I actually like this one as it makes it easier to look at maps while sprinting
I miss 4J
9:20 I think mojang did this to have parity between java and bedrock. Java always had this "bug" for locator maps, and mojang added it for bedrock removing the arrow feature when you're out of the map.
Ok, now do this on the Java Edition
9:18 Minecraft said they where making bedrock like Java, the arrow was there before but they removed it so it can be like java
Mojang's attitide to bugs could be summarized as "There's a bug in Java. Everyone, stop what you're doing, we have to fix this bug" and "There's a bug in Bedrock. Huh? What? Anyway, back to working on Java."
I don't think you understand how fixing bugs works compared to each version. Java has had a dedicated team with very few staff members leaving, so bugs are easily fixed. On Bedrock, due to Microsoft, there has been a lot of contracted development, meaning the dedicated bedrock team has to figure out what the contracted devs did, then understand their code (because despite being the same language, there are dozens of ways of writing code to perform the same action), and then figure out ehat the fix is without breaking other parts of the game since effectively, bedrock code is spaghetti code made by a thousand different people.
@@glytchthefox So are you blaming Notch for selling out to Microsoft? Sorry, I'm still salty because they took away placing buttons on walls. That decision is unforgiveable, no matter how many temporary staff were involved.
it’s different. Java has the attitude of “oh there’s a bug let’s just make it part of the game and call it intentional” Ex. quasi connectivity.
Bedrock bugs get fixed but slower. Most of these bugs are very hard to experience on a new gen console though
Can't believe you mined those blocks and the breaking animation worked, for it'll always stop or not show at all
