Brent, really enjoyed your video! The boys catfish nuggets looked so good! And so did yours and Jennifer's. Henry made my day when he opened the door and said "it's Santa Claus!" Thank you so much, Carla! lol, we laughed so hard too when he said that it was Santa in the outhouse. On a daily basis, Henry keeps ups laughing with things that he's serious about but they turn out to be hilarious. The fudge was really good. Wow, we went on vacation to Land between the Lakes about 33 years ago to go boating and stumbled across this place. One of the neatest places we have ever been. Then it had the wood walls and wood floors thats made it feel very rustic. Dont remember much of the "settlement" part being there then. Close to there was an old IGA grocery store with the old river boat facade across the top still. Not much of a pork chop guy but that one was the best I have ever had. Tried to make that strawberry butter a few times but never came close to theirs. Always wondered if this place was still there. Thanks for bringing back some memories.

We had a restaurant in the 1990s in St.Louis that served flower pot bread. Great idea and it cooks good!
What a beautiful place...and the food looked amazing. That bread and strawberry butter made my mouth water..lol. Everything looked great! If I ever make it back near that part of TN I will make sure that I go here.
The food was so good and the light display was incredible. Their bread and strawberry butter was amazing. If you're ever on that part of the country, you'll definitely have to make a stop for supper. They also have an elk and bison reserve that's just south of here. We saw some some really large bull elk when we visited and the views of Land Between the Lakes makes for a really scenic drive. lol, with 17 to choose from, it was hard to narrow it down to only 2. The strawberry butter was definitely unique but very good! Good luck to the Browns playing against the Texans today. I'm glad you guys went. We started a tradition a few years back and now go every Christmas season. I grew up in Paducah so feels like home to me. I've never noticed the birdhouses before and I'm always happy when I hear a George Jones song. Miss that fella. Did you know Patti's burned not too many years back? The marina area across the road is also really beautiful. So much to do and see up there. Happy New Year guys! I got the pork chop last time. It really is good.
Thaank you! That is a great Christmas tradition that you have. We definitely want to go back again and we've heard that they will be doing a U.S.A. - Red, White, and Blue light display in the spring and summer months. That would be neat to see. We're with you - George Jones is truly one of the great country music legends. That's sad to hear that Patti's burned down. Was the former Patti's similar in size to this one or did they decide to build bigger when they rebuilt? We did visit the marina and also the elk and bison reserve that's south of Patti's. We saw a few really large bull elk roaming around. Hopefully we'll run into y'all at Patti's next season. We hope that you guys had a great weekend.

Wow! This restaurant looked wonderful. We would love to go here and eat. The boys were precious as always. I also like to see pictures on the menu. The pictures of the desserts were amazing. Lots of choices here too. This restaurant had it all- great food, nice atmosphere, and sugared nuts! Buc-ee's has tiger butter. We always get it when we get fudge at Buc-ee's. It's our favorite. Thanks for sharing!
