- Gus's Fried Chicken has been in operation for over 60 years. The restaurant started in Mason, Tennessee and has grown to expand the restaurants to 12 different states. Gus's chicken has been deemed as the world's best chicken by several food reviewers and national food publications.

I love how the Henry and Gentry are included. Gentry is well spoken and does a great job expressing himself. Henry has a big personality and adds so much humor to the videos.

Gus's is our favorite restaurant. They have the best chicken. John and I always drink about 3 glasses of their tea. Now we both want Gus's. But there are none in our area. Thanks for the great review. 😎😎
Their chicken is definitely the best around. We're impressed at how their chicken is never dried out and is just perfect every time. That chicken is huge 😮 but it looks so good 😊 I like how the boys will eat anything. I'm a picky eater
They definitely have some great portion sizes. The boys sometimes surprise us with what they like; especially Henry.

Cindy, that's a really cool fact. We had no idea that Elvis enjoyed Gus's, but we can definitely see why. It's so good. Now that Louisville has a location, hopefully they'll continue to keep expanding north. If you're ever visiting a town with Gus's, we would highly recommend trying it out. We still have not made it to Gus's Fried Chicken yet, but I haven't forgot about it! See you made it to a location in Kentucky. I remember Jennifer talking about the sweet tea at Gus's in Knoxville. I may have to get some when I go! Everything looked good, but that chicken looked soooo juicy and delicious! Hoping I get to a Gus's soon! Great video!
We look forward to y'all's video once you go. It's definitely not in the same category as Hattie B's or Prince's where they drench the heat onto the chicken. It's a very light spice, but sooooo good. They somehow manage to keep the skin perfectly crispy and the meat juicy and not dried out. It's just great! We hope that you guys are having a great weekend.

Sometimes I’m sure the food looks and tastes better in person than what it looks like on the screen,but this time it really looked good the coating on the chicken looked excellent,it doesn’t look the flashiest of restaurants but the that don’t matter when the food looked so tasty

I agree about the chicken not being too spicy. I can't take any spice and I can eat this. Baked beans are good, too.

We were not too far from Indy! If you're a fan of fried chicken with a very light and mild spice, Gus's delivers some of the best. The wing dinner with slaw and greens sounds like a perfect combo! This is on my must try list. I'm with Jennifer on that good sweet tea and greens are both things I love. I was hoping for someone to try the baked beans. I saw on the menu that there is pork in them...and pork in baked beans is another favorite of mine. Is there a location in the Smokies? I don't remember seeing it there...but I'm keeping my eye out in my travels for Gus's. Hope ya'll have a great weekend and God bless!

Hi Cathy! Their sweet tea is some of the best and it's been that way every time we've visited. Brent tried some of the baked beans the last time we visited the one in Knoxville. They have a couple of locations in Knoxville, but none in the Smokies just yet. They're starting to expand to several other states, so we think that it's a matter of time before Pigeon Forge gets one. It would do so well there. We hope that you have an amazing weekend too. I jumped over and watched it. The beans look great. Brett said something was different with theirs...I wonder if they sweeten them with molasses? That makes them extra good! Love the flannel shirt you had on in that video. I have been looking for one with pink in it. Right now everything is sort of picked over due to Christmas...but I will find one. @@EveryDayIsSaturdayTV
We have a Gus's here in Knoxville, TN. Their chicken is delicious, but their fried green tomatoes have too much breading.

How does Gus' stack up against Popeye's?🤔🤗
It is far better than Popeyes in our opion. We eat at Popeyes maybe once or twice a year, but don't ever miss out on an opportunity to visit Gus's whenever we travel near one.
