I miss going to Amish country as a kid. I remember Highway 30 as it runs into New Jersey also. I don’t remember the Dienners but we used to stay the Eden and eat at Garfield‘s shady maple or good and plenty. I love how Amish and Mennonite restaurants are closed on Sundays, and they stay true to their faith. And do so with such humility.
@@williamboo9017I feel the same way! I go there at least once a month. I love the way they sell products. They have a lot of faith and trust in people.
@@Nieniennichols I loved this video. i always loved the woopie pies. I last had them when I was in Arthur Illinois. Where they have an Amish settlement and community. They were my favorite as a kid. I live in eastern Florida but when I go to see my father, I want to check it out… There is a small Mennonite settlement near Arcadia Florida. I only noticed this because I was stuck behind a vehicle with Pennsylvania license plate that said Mennonite disaster services. I guess they were here to help with the aftermath of the hurricane in 2022 that hit Western Florida. I then noticed a small Mennonite church and farmers market. The whole thing was God ordained. Such a blessing. Supposedly there is a restaurant called Yoders near Sarasota. Closed on sunday. And Sarasota is an Amish vacation spot I think for a new order or old order Amish.
I wish there was some indication as to what restaurant it is and where it is located.
