Side note: with men’s straight leg jeans, if you got some ass and some thighs you’re gonna have to do a trial and error to find a pair that gives you the masculine straight leg look. Like with Levi’s, I’ve learned the 505 fit gives me the best straight leg look. Like my ass and thighs aren’t prominent in the 505 fit like they are in 501s, which end up looking like female bootcut jeans on me unless I go a size or two up. But then it just ends up looking baggy. So yea, if you packing something in the booty area, it may be a journey to find the perfect straight leg jeans

as someone who prefers androgynous/masculine fashion, i've been looking for a channel like this for so long. if you're looking for more channels like this, i also highly suggest Tim Dessaint. his channel is really chill and gives good fashion advice without being too controlling and restrictive.
@@everlyw7892 everything. EVERYTHING. I wear. Ends up looking feminine. Skirt? Normal lady. Jeans? normal lady on 'her' day off. nicer pants? Normal lady getting ready for something formal. Everything I do reads femme because I Have a Body. It's great that afab folks can wear whatever, but why can't there be a few things that look good on me and confuse people's gender perception? Just. Just leave a few items. That I can look classy and NB.

Balloon jeans are an alternative to straight leg. And they come high waisted without being too hyper fem

does anyone have any tips for finding looser pants for someone with a bit of thigh on them. My waist size hasnt changed but these thighs sure have and finding baggy pants has been difficult
i have the same problem. the only solution i found so far is buying bigger size pants and then sewing the waist to fit me
sometimes men’s trousers are much more roomier in the thigh area, that’s why i always look for pants with pleats bc they tend to not be so tight or form

I have the same problem. Pay attention to thigh measurements and just keep searching! Vintage cuts for men’s pants usually have bigger thighs too.
These are awesome pants looks! I feel you on going with what looks good as opposed veering away from things that are often viewed as more feminine just because of that fact alone. Nice to queer up all kinds of clothes and just put together a bomb ass outfit.

High rise/ mid rise straight leg jeans are my favorite. I like the waist to be snug enough to not fall but then the legs don’t suffocate me.

Have you checked out Both&? To solve for that layering androgynous struggle bus they've designed shirts and tanks that are in a slightly heavier weight cotton so they hold shape and don't cling, cover binder lines, and are in masc proportions that actually fit AFAB bodies.

High waisted pants are the best. I was against them for a while, but I realized I have high placed hip-bones, so they just fit me way better than other pant cuts. Now that is basically all I wear.

thoughts on corduroy? you can get it in straight leg mid rise, vintage pleated trouser, thicc or skinny cords, muted or loud colors, anything really - I think it adds a bit more polish and character to whatever I'm wearing with that extra bit of texture and they're more forgiving than khaki imo
OMG it's like you read my mind. I did a runway show for a resale shop ages ago that had me wearing these trousers that I loved. In retrospect, I should've asked to just buy them at the end of the show but oh well. Been wanting pants like that since. I'm totally gonna remember the pocket tip you gave, and when you mentioned cargo pants, I was brought back to teenaged me, who wore my favorite cargo pants and overalls basically all the time. I just got new overalls (which I'm wearing) but I haven't found new cargo pants yet.

I actually do have a pair of straight leg jeans that are also cargo pants lol. By that I mean it’s just denim straight legs with the front and back pockets being deeper and having two extra pockets on the side. They’re my favorite pair of jeans for when I’m feeling masculine, and my favorite ones when I’m feeling feminine are a pair of flare jeans I have that cling to my thighs and then sprawl away at the knee. Absolutely love it. (I’m genderfluid :D)

I love your aesthetics and appreciate the tipps! However, I have hips, a booty and thighs so straight leg jeans (I have the levi's 724 high rise straight) fit tightly all the way down to my knees and then are more relaxed at the lower leg. I don't hate it, it's just not exactly what I'm looking for. Any advise on how to achieve the relaxed fit with a more curvy body? I don't like low waist so I guess the men's section is not an option for me...
