To be honest, this song is the song that made me realise how beautiful her voice is and how well she can actually sing. The control she has in this is amazing. She also connects to her music and tells the story like no one else IMO.
JLo's voice is sweet, and goes well with the type of music she makes, she's a great performer/ entertainer, she said in the past that she knows she is not the best singer in the world (not a belter), she lip syncs a lot to avoid bad vocals specially when she dances, there's been plenty of videos pointing her flat or out of tune vocals, her confidence to sing live is only coming back now. Great song and performance. She's doing what she loves and people will either like it or not.

When you're not singing classical music, it's more than okay to sing words in a way that reflects how you speak. It makes the song sound more pop and naturalistic. if you over enunciate it doesn't sound right. Dropped consonants and the like are normal speech patterns.
I am such a fan of JLo but i can't stand this song. The beginning melody sounds so desperate, like it's trying to be this dramatic epic song. And the lyric "don't make sense, but it do" Like who wrote this? How is supposed to be serious and u use that lyric 😂. The song does get better imo later on. But it's cut short just as I'm liking it. This is down there with lady Gaga's shallow. My unpopular opinion. Wish i could like either track. But as always, phenomenal reaction and breakdown Ms Honest.
