    I'd completely lost my night vision after a long illness; it was a terrifying realization! Thank God, drinking a daily glass of carrot juice, and adding spinach and salmon to my salads restored my vision completely within about a month; it was Amazing! I now take Luetine & Zeanthin (generic Occuvite) supplements to further nourish and protect my eye health, which is now better than ever!

    Ground Chia seeds and flaxesseds are also a fantastic source of Omega 3. Kale and almla fruit are also excellent for eye health.

    • @rickd438
      @rickd438 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      True, but unless you are vegan you can get better bioavailability of omega 3 fatty acids from items like salmon.

    • @raziyaswanart6621
      @raziyaswanart6621 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@rickd438 i completely reversed my condition using ground chia and flaxseeds. So I think that speaks for itself. The success is undeniable, which is why I promote the use of chia and flaxseeds and they are so much more affordable than wild salmon. (I would touch farm raised salmon). It is a shame they are not even mentioned.

    • @rickd438
      @rickd438 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@raziyaswanart6621 Fair enough, but you understand that you don’t get the active form of omega 3 from chia and flax seeds. You get APA which is a precursor to the active form DHA and EPA. Many people cannot effectively to the conversion required and will end up deficient. I would advise vegans to consume algae as it’s a much better source for both DHA and EPA. Basically eat what the fish eat.

      Because it’s multi making millions, for the Drs and the pharmaceutical companies, I had high cholesterol and my dr put me on Satin, I took it because he said I had to because it was really hight. But I knew better, I got off all the unhealthy stuff and I started walking, in 3 months it had gone down to 152.
      He was amazed, I told him it had nothing to do with the medication, I took control of my lifestyle, I felt so much healthier.
      I am doing this right now for my eyes, 67 years old and in no medication, am so grateful for the lifestyle changes. It’s worth it!!!

      Concerning salmon and other ocean fish, there is generally enough pollution in our oceans these days to worry nutritionists about seafood consumption, so it's probably best to moderate your consumption of ocean-based fish. And don't consume farmed salmon or fish of any kind; it's a disaster. Make sure it is wild caught.
