The score was clearly purple and overlapping the character on screen. Meanwhile there was a big flash when Mario hit the enemy, making it difficult to tell whether or not he touched the actual hair.
@@lunaitc but I doubt the score is even touchable in the first place, or the fact that the character could see said score in front of them. Much like how you wouldn't see a score appearing in front of you irl when you killed a bug, or picked up anything that could be useful.

You really need to see how far you can go in each game! I'd love to see each game made into a miniseries, or even like a part 2 where you go through each second level, and keep going until you only have one left, and see how far you can go in that game! That would be awesome!

For the Brutal fight, I frame advanced it by holding space at half speed to check if you touched his purple hair. What I found: Hair portion of the model is in the middle back section of the head. While stomping, I only say Mario's Foot touch the white portion of the head's hitbox. Mario is immediately air-born when the stomp lands and the yellow flash shows (at least that is what I believe to have seen). Went to double check for each jump seen in the video at half speed. Mario's foot when stomping only touched the white portion of the head. Hair texture does flatten when stomped, but Mario appeared to be air-born from the stomp before the texture flattens. Conclusion: You got really lucky and I am 90% sure that you didn't touch his hair.
Idea: a challenge where you avoid touching a certain object (ie. a koopa shell, a pipe, a brick block, etc.) I think color challenges can cause debates on whether this item is red or pink or whatnot
