I was there in 1994, sitting on the ground with the camera people in front of Pavarotti. This was THE highlight of my life! It was a perfect evening at Dodger's Stadium!
lucky you.. probably will not see something like that again in our lifetime
@@manfromearth8656 There is a young man named Jonathan Antoine. He's on youtube and sings operatic songs pretty well. His voice is strong.
I must say I envy you. What a moment!!!!
It was a great privilege ...
Amazing. I'm curious, did you realize back then the epicness of your experience, or was that something you learned later on?
The conductor is having the time of his life.
Crying over their voices, no matter how many times I watch this video. The last note is amazing... I can't explain the way I feel everytime I heard it.
I love it how they weren’t competing but enjoying each other’s talent.
Yes. It's great given that Pavarotti didn't really like Carraras as a person.....but respected his talent.
@@gladysbarbour1472frfffffftr
@@gladysbarbour1472 I'm sorry but that's made up
Gosh, I thought I was a good observer of people, but you are in a CLASS OF YOUR OWN - pray share your secret
I wonder if anyone else gets this extraordinary feeling when they sing the last note and then smile afterwards, together.
Yes, everytime ❤❤❤
It gives me goosebumps. Just beautiful to listen to
Everytime..its called a rush 😍
Goosebumps and tears, always.
Yessss
Dammit nobody could sing "Nessun Dorma" like Pavarotti. May he Rest in Peace
Plenty of people have sung better renditions of this. The aria itself was meant to be sung by the type of tenor who Pavarotti is not, a dramatic tenor. Pavarotti also couldn’t and wouldn’t act his way out of a wet cardboard box.
@@jaime4022 Pavarotti is the Epitome of Operatic Singers! Not to mention he made THIS song famous and brought into Pop culture! Do some research ya knob!
@@jaime4022 and who exactly are you?
Three greatest tenors living at the same time. We were blessed.
" Greatest " tenors ... I have to disagree
I got chills every time Pavarotti opened his mouth
is that because he's an illiterate musician or a singer (I.e: fake/wannabe musician)?!
@@djiknowitall40 do some research pls
@@hansi5124 um ok.... a masters degree and performing as a professional musician for 2 decades isn't enough for you? muppet.
@@djiknowitall40 you called him a illiterate musician
@@hansi5124 I stand by that.... he is a singer. Do you know the difference between a singer and a musician? I think you need to do some basic research mate.
The contrast when Pavarotti comes in is absolutely mindboggling, despite all their talent. The man was just from another planet on every level
There is such a change in the atmosphere when Pavarotti begins to sing. He has the ability to fill the room with his powerful voice! The other two are excellent! Pavarotti is a gift!
Im totally agree
Its a whole nother world when he sings
He's the best singer I've ever heard, his voice is powerful.

Luciano Pavarotti is incomparable, simply fantastic.
They’re all good but he just steals the stage.
The moment Pavarotti starts singing, we can imagine the beginning of the universe.
I agree
The way Pavarotti pats Carreras on the head shows their brotherly affection, one more remarkable basis of this collaboration. The Three Tenors became an iconic phenomenon, but we forget that at its inception it was unheard of that three divos would share a stage. They broke new ground, opening operatic singing to new listeners, showing that world class artistic excellence and camaraderie, beauty and fun, can exist on the same stage together.
The sad thing is that we will never again see anything as spectacular as this. RIP Luciano.
Unbelievable it´s been 30 years since this beautiful performance❣ It must have incredible to be there in person. Their performance is (almost) flawless, & when watching them sing they also seem to enjoy each others company. I´m sure Puccini is proud his work is performed this beautifully 🎼🎵🎶
There will never, never, never be anyone else that can do this song justice but Luciano Pavarotti. I love Domingo and Carreras but Pavarotti made it look effortless. Never fails to bring tears to my eyes.
I love Brian blesseds Italian cousin
❤❤❤❤❤
I totally agree with you about that, this is Pavarotti's song, only he can sing it with such depth and emotion
Jonathan Antoine
So so true!!
One of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard.
That’s the truth! Amazing!
I really envy 90's just for one thing: this concert
Fair, but there's plenty more to envy the 90s for 😍
@@fernandaabreu5625 Truth to that!
Love how Pavarotti touches Jose carrera's head 😊
Best way to show honor, friendship!
in Philippines that means a compliment or you did something good
Me too😊
Surely the greatest trio of all time with the greatest rendition of "Nessun
Dorma" that will echo through the ages of time and for all the generations that will follow.
the moment Pavarotti straightened up, I knew something in my will be stirred. the emotion, the soul, i can feel it in my bones
I just laid my dad to rest and he would play this louder than I played Black Sabbath. Now I am doing the same to honor his memory.
A classis song sung by classic men in memory of a outstanding father.
same today :( R I P
May your father rest in peace. I know how does it feels. But this melody is a piece of heaven where they are.
May your Father rest in power, n my Mom. Maybe they'll enjoy this together up there
I am sorry for your loss.
Bravo. May He Rest In Peace, And Keep Doing It Every now and then. Greetings.
Goosebumps. Their voices bring tears to my eyes, the voices of gods
These three cannot be beat! Wonderful!
Voices of gods. Of God. Yes.
Still listening in 2020, this piece is singing at its finest, it is a timeless beauty. Love it, big time and the three tenors will always be the finest of things Italy and Europe has produced for generations to come.
you're right - except 2 of them are the product of Spain!
So VERY timeless! I’m enjoying this in 2022!
Still listening in 2022! Was at the Meadowlands in 1996 for their concert there. Magnificent - no words can describe the feeling of witnessing such God-given talent. Luciano Pavarotti & Jose Carreras died too young but are surely entertaining the angels.

When I am in need of Grandeur...Greatness...Great feelings
I listen to some arias sung by
Luciano...!
The three Tenors + Zubin Mehta...the Dream Team on stage.
When all three of them sing, all of the instrument players just turn. I, personally, almost shit my pants. Amazing.
okkkkkkkk
We are blessed to be able to hear these three voices for the ages .
Three gods, titans, giants!
Yo watching attack on titan dudd
The smooth powerful perfection of Pavarotti is one of a kind...One of Italy's greatest gifts....may he RIP
Pavarotti was the greatest ever!
How can man put into words such wonderful things ?
This smile of Pavarotti to the other two after that last note simply says, guys we created a masterpiece.
All together at the end - very moving! Thank you Puccini!
Luciano: relax guys, I got this
it just seems so effortless for pavarotti, by far the best tenor the world has seen
58 years old and just discovered this, just... Wonderful!

The audience were so lucky to have seen this live 😭
José Carreras, Plácido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti...human beings endowed with a unique and at the same time magical vocal quality. Hearing this song transports me to what is most similar to Eden....
This is the absolute purest and finest music there ever was. I was fighting tears so hard when I first heard this and I was as sober as a judge. Lol. Probably I'm reminded of my immortal grandmother because she loved these 3. It was always so important to her that we were properly educated in music, fine art, and culture and that we never forgot who we are and where we came from. 🇪🇦🇪🇦🇪🇦
I love that Pavarotti was so giving. Sometimes that sort of talent wants to suck the air out of the room but instead he always seemed to genuinely delight in sharing the stage not just with other brilliant tenors but with all sorts of musicians. He's sorely missed.
still can't be beat ..2024
My grandfather used to wake us up to opera, but a lot of the time it was Pavarotti and the three tenors. I miss him so much.

What an incredible sound, all three in total harmony, especially with the ending note.
Phenomenal talent.

This is one of the most beautiful renditions I have ever heard. Absolutely astonishing and inspiring! The emotion is so powerful. I can't stop listening.
Carreras! Be still my heart! Matinee idol good looks, passion and humor, smarts and stage presence, grit and graciousness, work on behalf of leukemia patients and their families. Bravo, Maestro, bravo!
Pavarotti is the second to none when it comes to opera song. any tenor can beat his poweful and wonderful voice.he must have gotten that from god.
You mean 'no' tenor can. Absolutely true.
Pavarotti was out of this world
I wish I could have had the great privilege of watching them live on stage. It reminds me a lot of my grandpa. He used to watch his opera collections crying all the time. Just like I am now.
Evertime Pavarotti sings I cry with delight he is a gift from god , may he rest in peace ,there will never be any to match him , bless him Shirley h Darlington England 🌹👌✋💕
2020 still lisening "Nessun Dorma", Puchinni's Aria of Turandot Opera. Bravo!! Sublime!!
Watching this during covid isolation using supermarket wifi. Perfect choice.

I never cease to be amazed. No matter who is with Pavorrotti blows them away. His voice is all over everyone.
They were great together! Pavarotti's voice so clear and beautiful it brings tears to my eyes.
I can't stop watching this video, lot of tears from listening Luciano, viva The King.
I always get goosebumps at the end when the orchestra comes in to finish...
The 3 best tenors in the world sing very beautiful.
👍 *Thanks to: Zubin Mehta... your wizardry with the baton made the magic happen!* 👏🏻
As close to perfection as it gets, and they know it lol.
Still one of the most amazing performances I've seen.
Just.... WOW!
Bravo this is excellent 👍😊
Best performance of Nessum Dorma.
I could and often do listen to it daily. It is “church” for me. Absolutely splendid and arousing, especially the last word where all 3 give their ‘best’.
I can't watch this often enough!
Best of Pavarotti in our hearts!!!!❤👏👏👏👏👏⚘⚘
The others are good, but Pavarotti be like, "Hold my beer"
haha hell yh
Omg this really tickled me. Thanks for making my day Cheryl
more like, "hold my note"
more like, "Hold my wine"
Hold my farina
Amazing

There is something magical when the best in the world do their thing. This is no exception.
This kind of beauty and talent brings tears to my eyes.
Luciano is something else..
These three were like beer, barbecue and your fav soccer team playing. Individually each of them is truly great, but together... Heavenly gift.
I was then and will forever be moved by how supportive and protective Placido and Luciana seemed toward Jose, all through this concert. He had been so devastatingly ill - it was a miracle that Jose was on the stage and still singing with his "big brothers."
It's so epic, I cry every time the crescendo hits.
This is music for the soul.
Why I wanna a hug every single time when I hear it ?
This is incredible.
I dare anyone to put headphones lay on the bed an listen to this and not have goosebumps at the end.
Great music always hits the soul.
Pavarotti: Vinceró!!!
Il monde: Definitamente.
They all have amazing voices. Hard to pick a favorite, but if i had to, i love Pavarotti.
Beyond !!!
Wow. Just WOW
Such a beautiful and eternel piece of músic! I have no words to describe the intensity of the emotion 😍
Pavoratti seems to sing to me across time across space to a place that is timeless.Italia 90 world cup
Placido Domingo and José Carreras are opera singers from Spain 🇪🇸, while Luciano Pavarotti was an opera singer from Italy 🇮🇹.
José Carreras was diagnosed in leukemia in 1987, did multiple treatments and thank God, he survived cancer in 1988 and returned to singing opera once again.
pavarotti gave me more goosebumps than the others two
Absolutely, the others are great too, but I feel emotional just to see Pavarotti, feels so natural to him, he's amazing!❤❤❤
Yeah
The best ever and no one will be even close to them
I was lucky enough to see Pavarotti in concert…you get the full experience of this when you saw him
I will forever envy you
Fantastico tear in my eye ❤
Imposible no emocionarse, no me canso de escucharlos, únicos e irrepetibles
I drop a tear! Incredible voices! ❤
The conductor must have had the time of his life there!!
I get it the most marvellous live performance
