Am I the only one who doesn't like when the audience starts cheering and clapping at the climax part? We just can't listen to the singing with all the sounds, we can't hear anything with all the acclamations...
No, you're not the only one who doesn't like the audience hooting and hollering during the climax... I seriously wish they would respect the singer enough to hold back their applause until the song is done. I don't want to hear them but the singer to who I came here to watch and listen to. So take comfort, you're not the only one, sign me "für Elise", I love to listen to good opera without the applause!
Laura is and was in a class by herself. Although she may not have known all the lyrics, her performance was superb, reminding me of a young Maria Callas, interpreting and showing emotions with everything word, sentence pronounced. Truly magnificent. ❤❤❤
Nah for me she wasn’t that good, maybe because she was nervous or something but it sounded to uncontrolled to fast vibrato maybe over a few years and if she’snot so stressed she could sound amazing

I CAN,T stop listening to Paul sing. When Paul sang he sound a little bit like Pavarotti.the lady judge and all the judges couldn't hold their emotions the way Paul sang. They all almost crid .Im not ashamed to say that i had tears in my eyes. EVEN SIMON got emotional. and you better believe she had goosebumps.Paul voice was incredible good, it's not that much how loud you sing, but it's the tone the heart and the love you put in and Paul had it .Pavarotti would have been proud of him. To us Italian that’s the worse, he’s just shouting mumbo jumbo he’s not pronouncing the words just trying to hit the right notes. The powerful text of the song it’s what makes it amazing, if you can’t understand what he says it loses its magic.

I'm impressed by #3 contestant he is the only one of the five that if taking proper lessons have a chance to turn professional, all others are good but the natural sound of their voices who unfortunately cannot be change is not compatible with opera.
