When polishing turds and making silk purses from pigs ears becomes an art form. I am never disappointed watching you guys.....premier workmanship and entertainment. Thank you for your time and effort publishing.
Haha I have polished quite a few in my time :)
Still a turd though😂😂
Love your work though
Well said!
Steve it is an absolute pleasure to watch you work
Thank you Danny :)
I hope that anyone embarking on a career in bodywork, as an apprentice or a keen amateur, will take your videos as a standard to aspire to!!! Fabulous work!!!!👏👏👏👏
I’m definitely am going to try to
Man. Your skill is unmatched.
Thank you for the kind words :)
The 911YCR is taking shape! Superb craftsmanship Steve.
Thank you :)
Hi Steve, I do enjoy these updates on the projects that you and Ryan put out. You are a talented bunch. What I am learning is that while the overall job is daunting, if it is taken a step at a time with a good dose of patience, that the project comes together as it should. I have never tried anything like this but your channel and those of the Canadian car modifiers such as Japhands are the starting point for inspiration and vicarious learning. Thank you all.
Thank you Paul :)
And already forgetting to use that nice new welding helm. Tsk tsk. Thanks for the great content!
Nice to see the 911 back, looking forward to the bit when you convert it from a Targa to a Coupé.
There is a chance that may not happen. All will be revield in a later vid
Keep it original.
I really enjoy watching how you do it. Thank you for sharing.
I was wondering when we were going to get the next 911 update. Always finding new things to enjoy in your videos!
Steve, you make it seem as if someone like me could learn to do all of this bodywork stuff. You explain and show the reasoning behind what you are doing. Very much appreciated and a joy to watch. Thanks mate!
Give it a go David, with a little practice you could do it :)
Great stuff again Steve, I just sit here open mouthed watching, but good to see progress being made from when the 911 first arrived!👍👍...Keep up the great work!
i really enjoy watching you all do custom metal work. you all have a great day.
Thank you :)
Beautifully done Steve, some great tips there for when I fit my rear arches to my Cavalier, thanks to you an Ryan I’ve learned so much from you guys! Keep up the great work and videos 😊 cheers 🍻
Such a pleasure to watch, always puts me in a good mood! True craftsmanship 🙌🏼
Very great work. Well done!
Absolutely amazing skills
Your level of commitment to the work is fantastic, good job you love doing that kind of work.
Top work Steve 😊
Thanks for the video. 911 is looking good!
Master craftsman at work
Great stuff, a pleasure to watch and learn from...
Thank you 👍
Nice work
Im impressed as always!
Thank you :)
Hey 👋 buddy Steve good to see you its been a while i miss Ryan and the uploads i known you all have been very busy i hope you guys have a wonderful blessed Sunday and a very good week ahead
Epic as usual Steve....🤔😏🇬🇧
Awsome woprk again, Steve
I hope he has widened his garage door 😂
This car just keeps getting better
Great work Steve, i hope he lets you have a drive in it
Thank you I hope he dose as well :)
I look forward to your stretching metal video. Matter of fact, I would like to see you do other how-to videos from time to time.
geez steve ! i would be sweating like crazy cutting into those wheel arches , you must have nerves of steel
Very nice job 😎😎😎👍👍👍
Thank you :)
Super job 👌 gave me an idea of how to do a job I’ve got bouncing around in my noggin on my old peace of crap so thanks for that think I got it figured out 👍 of course there’s always the question of if I’m clever enough to do it …it’s doubtful 🤣
RWB is calling…. 😊😊
Oh man the cut on the rear quarter was a hard watch! But will look amazing no doubt
It's only metal. If you make a mistake you can always add metal :)
Having just done some work on a Carrera RS I had a big problem trying to get the door seal to fit in that rear corner at the bottom of the door, as a previous repair had left the door lip too shallow and too far out for the seal. I’m sure YCR will do it right!
My go to page for OCD craftsmanship. Love the work you and Ryan do.
Eh up or Aye Up from France!
Cut and butt! Curious why the original quarter panel arch needed to be replaced by an aftermarket. Was it perished inside? As always, great learning by the YCR masters!
Ive just subbed to the channel and doing a marathon of all the videos this week furze ,roger, disaster, and this bit how much wider are the arches over the original it only looks about 1 to 2 inches
Company policy should be that every car which leaves the workshop must have flared arches fitted!
Just wondering, don't you get a lot of metal shavings in your eyes just wearing these glasses? I can't get rid of them even having a full mask on, and visiting doctor often lol. Love the Channel and these projects, i drop everything I do when I see there is a new video :D
From someone thar doesn't live in the UK. What is the aprox hourly rate on craftsmanship like this?
Its minimum wage at least. It’s the law.
Why are you guys putting VW Bug rear fenders on that car. Lol Just kidding, it’s looking great.
Theybare wide :)
Make it a coupe.
Maybe :)
Love the work you guys do but please wear hearing protection while grinding. The long grinding and sanding sessions can be very bad for hearing.
Not a criticism or suggestion, but just a straightforward question: do you ever use TIG welding in the workshop, and would you see any benefit in using it on long welds on big panels like the wheel arches ? Best wishes.
Yes I do use it but out channel is to show people how to do it themselves. And most can take up mig easily enough but tig is a higher level of skill :)
@@yorkshirecarrestoration Thanks Steve.
@@yorkshirecarrestorationwhat is the difference between tig and mig
Is tig more harder to learn.
Make no wonder the owner has a tight budget.
He or she will need the cash for wheels and tyres to fill those arches!
He is on a tight budget :)
I hearing birds tweeting in my headphones and couldn’t make out where it was coming from !!
Haha lots of dirds tweeting in lo-fi music :)
Images the first time you need to cut a big panel to remove in a expensive car.
Any content on the Z, it seems like ages...................
There will be soon :)
It looks like you are turning a porsche into a volkswagen.
Sometimes less is best!!
great stuff (as always!) tho you need to consider your lungs and ears....it'll come back to haunt you in less years than you think by not using ear protection etc.
that is such a bad habit. use a helmet. you are setting an example, whether you like it or not. don't show it when you don't use one.
I used safty squints :)
The music put me off ! Terrible choice mate. . I stopped watching because of it....
Well thank you for partly watching 😂
@@yorkshirecarrestorationlol love your witty replies. You just can't please them all haha best way to respond 😂
