N final battle theme from Pokemon Black and White
Good stuff! The chaos and rage of Zinnia's theme is often neglected, so that's refreshing to see. She's literally on the verge of losing her last bit of will to live in that battle. It's really driven by those hard-hitting low-string hits in the original though. I think adding complexity and reverb to it muffles it a little, I'd recommend synching up those great timpani hits with the cello you have underneath it. I also really liked the key change you put near the end of the loop! The quick swell up to it feels really grand and insane, especially with the flutes. Keep at it :)
Thank you so much! I have to say that my tracks from 2021 were pretty bad in terms of sound quality. They had too much reeverb and almost no clarity when lots of instruments are playing at the same time.
I'll remake it again as an improved version for sure since it has so much potential. Thanks for listening!
@@Galax_Music For sure! I'm hobbyist composer myself and this song happens to be my favorite in Pokemon, so I'm a bit too familiar with its details lol. I think for a lot of remixers it's easy to fall in the trap of more instruments = more intense, but Zinnia's theme only uses a few - its leading accordion and violin, low strings, a drumkit, and the electric bass and xylophone way in the back. I don't even think the Smash remix added anything besides the acoustic and electric guitars. It even keeps the accordion. I listened to one of your more recent tracks and you've definitely improved a lot in a short time, the Maxie/Archie battle was awesome. I don't remember if TH-cam has a DM system anymore, but if it does, feel free to hit me up if you want to talk music!

This is just downright fantastic. Especially the sorrow part, it gave me chills the same way it did when I first played the Delta Episode.
Zinnia is definitely one of the best characters in the whole franchise, as well as one of my favorites alongside N.

The theme always gives me goosebumps. Reminds of the first battle I had with her. Mega salamence vs mega rayquaza was always just so cool to me.

I really need to listen through your library still, I'm only here ever since the Volo Remix but goddamn you did this piece justice. You truly conveyed all the important things that this battle was meant to depict during the Delta Episode, especially with that calmer, quieter ending.
Thanks Laprisu! I did put tons of hard work in this piece back in the day but it has lots of reverb and muddiness in the battle theme. I will redo it in the future now that I'm more experienced.
I never got to play Pokémon ORAS but the OST sure sounds amazing from what I've listened to. I love Steven's Champion Theme in the ORAS style. Thanks for listening!

I'm so glad Zinnia finally caught Rayquaza in Pokemon Masters, even if it isn't a canon part of the story. Brendan/May essentially stole her destiny from her in ORAS, so seeing her start her path to closure was so heartwarming.
What would've been like if ORAS was a sequel instead of a remake? And if Zinnia was one the two new protagonists(along with a hypothetical male counterpart)? While Brendan/May(now older) was the current Champion/Professor?

Thank you! About the title... you know it's obviously to catch people's attention since I didn't have an audience back then. I know my title's stay the same for most of the cases too but I in defense I have to say that the quality of my music is improving.
Now that I listen to Zinnia's remix and compare it to a recent remix I've done such as Red's Theme all I can say is that a huge improvement has been made. Zinnia's remix had too much reeverb and overall could be done better although it is one tough track to recreate. I'll remake it again in the future since I'm not satisfied with the results I got before.
