    1) Kaizen (small improvements everyday)
    2) Shinrin yoku (connecting with nature)
    3) Ikigai (reason for being)
    4) Wabi sabi (celebrating imperfections)
    5) Shoshin (embracing the beginners' mindset)
6)Hara hachi bu (eat till you're 80% full)
    7) Ganbaru (doing your best; patience;unwavering perseverance)

      1) I try but often fail
      2) I want to but it's not really possible outside of a zoo
      3) too many and too little
      4) parts of me get it, but most of me wants everything and everyone to be perfect somehow 🤔
      5) I'm always at a beginners mode because I've been missing some screws for a long time and constantly confused about most things 😓
      6) THIS! chit can't really be done. I got a an angry mob of feminist land whalers living inside that want me to feed them constantly and I somehow justify it because I'm not physically looking out of shape 😒
      7) I usually always try my best and most times I end up doing the worst somehow, and my mind's usually all over the place... There's so much work and too little time, not enough energy, and plenty of focus issues and I'm craving some mashed potatoes with gravy and a rack of juicy ribs, some corn bread loaded with butter, some fried chicken, fried catfish, and hot bowl of pho, and the best quality steaks because these munchies are REAL! And I'm too lit to feel like ordering anything or do anything 😓

In my country, France, we would never use the word "productivity" to talk about someone life. It's purely and only used for work, particularly industrial places ( but not only). In your free time, you certainly don't need to be productive. Just enjoy life and people.

    IN A NUTSHELL
    1. Kaizen - Small improvements lead to big changes (1% increase per day) | Tint consistent steps
    2. Shinrin Yoku (Nature’s healing touch) --- Shinrin means Forest | Yoku means Bath
    3. Ikigai --- Four rules of Ikigai are as below
    a. Do what you love (Passion - What you love + what you are good at)
    b. Do what you are good at (Profession - What you are good at + what you can be paid for)
    c. Do what the world needs (Mission - what you love + what the world needs)
    d. Do what you could be paid for (Vocation - What you can be paid for + what the world needs)
    4. Wabi Sabi - Imperfection is celebrated (No need to wait for the perfect timing, just start)
    5. Shoshin - Embracing the beginners’ mindset (Your mind is like a parachute; it will work only when it is opened)
    6. Hara Hachi Bu - (Filling your stomach only 80% rather than to feel lethargic having overeaten)
    7. Ganbaru - The spirit of doing your best (Patience, Perseverance, Tenacity, Commitment to Excellence, Consistency)

Yes but killing any life form could be seen as a terrible thing, so long as humans don't disrupt the balance of nature. I imagine they probably have disrupted the cycle of whale life though :( @@77NickDale

    • @CyberPotato123
      @CyberPotato123 21 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

@@77NickDalekilling is natural, evolutionary tendencies and biology existed before ethics which were a byproduct of the creation of biology: Humanity. And a byproduct of humanity is ethics, ethics came from religion, the evolutionary sense to be in a group and keep eachother safe, authority, culture and enviroment. Ethics is merely an illusion, and whatever stops the necesities of evolution and biology is in no way the right thing to do.

These Japanese concepts are deeply meaningful and provide a guide to living a balanced, thoughtful, and fulfilling life.
1.Kaizen: Encourages incremental and consistent improvement. It's a great philosophy for personal growth, productivity, and skill development.
2.Shinrin Yoku: Highlights the benefits of immersing yourself in nature for mental and physical health. Even short nature walks can bring calm and clarity.
    3. Ikigai: The search for your unique purpose-combining what you love, what you are good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for-is powerful for leading a fulfilling life.
    4. Wabi Sabi: Teaches us to accept imperfection and impermanence, helping cultivate gratitude and appreciate life's beauty in the flawed and ephemeral.
    5. Shoshin: A beginner's mindset fosters curiosity and openness, essential for learning and personal growth.
    6. Hara Hachi Bu: A mindful eating habit that aligns with health and moderation, inspired by the Okinawan lifestyle associated with longevity.
    7. Ganbaru: This virtue emphasizes dedication and perseverance, embodying the spirit of never giving up, even in adversity.

That will help eliminate laziness. Cosmos greetings to all and I think to all all the blessings of life.

I'd like you to add "there's good in leftovers," although it's not a means of overcoming laziness. I know we don't have a good image of leftovers, but the Japanese appreciate leftovers, and sometimes it actually leads to good results.

I am struggling to figure out my Ikigai…I feel like there is always something missing. There are many things I would like to do but feeling like none of them is THE THING.
