- In this video I will be showing the fitment of the Summit TH400 transmission crossmember. I will also show you the ProForm transmission diptstick and Energy Suspension transmission mount that I used. This video is just a fitment video and I still have a final installation to go. I am doing this so I can get everything fitted and ready for final. This shows the parking brake cable fitment, what to expect with the driveline as well as the exhaust clearance. I put the same transmission cross member in my 92 S10 in the middle of July 2023. I have a th400 also that bolted up to a 383. The crossmember actually from G-Force, and ordered it from Speedway Motors. I was looking up crossmembers for my s10 on TH-cam and came acrossed TVP Productions. Everything bolted up just fine, and the only thing I couldn't use was the new hardware due to the diameter of the new bolts where a little bigger. I didn't have time to drill the openings cuz I was moving, the original bolts worked just fine. I either have to get a new driveshaft or have the yoke cut off the original and have the bigger one welded on then balanced. Been thinking about just getting a new driveshaft made.

I made my own transmission crossmember. The factory one was no where close to fitting. I also had enough room to use the factory 4l60e dipstick tube with my swap.
