I also have all three of those mounts. My body mounts/bushings were super worn out so I didn't have enough trans tunnel clearance for stock style mount. Installed the shorter energy suspension mount until I replaced my body bushings. Gained almost 1/2" of clearance with the new body bushings/mounts. Tremec TKX uses the same trans mounts as your TH400.
The Poly bushings will transmit more NVH that the Rubber mount. This translates to a harsher and noisier ride. The benefit from poly is that's it's stiffer thatn rubber and deflects less for more performance. It's a balance between ride quality and performance.
Awesome! Thank you for the info. I really didn’t feel any issues rubber one other than it was deteriorating & falling apart. Figured the poly one would hold up longer in the end.
🔥🔥🔥🔥💪💪👍💯 I had a quick question I was driving the caprice yesterday And the previous owner said it Had a rear main seal leak So as I’m driving it doesn’t go in gear so I go to the store and get transmission fluid Could he have a confuse there is a rear main seal but it actually have a transmission fluid leak
@@Caprice69 In the same amount miles that you've been driving it, is it also losing Engine oil? You could have both. Engine oil will be black and trans fluid will be red. Clean it, fill it and check it periodically. Early GM Trans can leak out a number of ways and are very prone to leaks.
Awesome Griff.... That's what I'm Talkin Bout.🎉
Thanks for tuning in!

That’s good info. Really didn’t think about the differences in height from body bushings. I’ll hang on to my other one.
