I decided to finish the AC after the trucks running. I need to re-make the hood latch bracket to fit the condenser, which looks like it might be a little complicated to make it sturdy enough to hold the hood down and fit behind the front plastic parts. I also need to order the AC hose crimp tooling, so I just put it off for now since it's not vital.
Is it possible to run a clutch fan with the cut up core support? Junkyard fans and basically anything helpful to make v8 s10s are all snatched up where I live so I'd like to have a clutch temporarily untill one pops up in the junkyards
I haven't tried, but I think it would be too tight of a fit. Rockauto sells the complete fan assembly brand new for under $100. Junkyard price was around $50 so new fans for double the price shipped to your door isn't a bad deal. www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/dodge,2004,intrepid,3.5l+v6,1424562,cooling+system,radiator+fan+assembly,2181
2005 Chrystler 300M, It's the "fancy" version of the Dodge Intrepid. Same exact size as the Dodge Intrepid but built in relays, a little better shroud, and 6 blade fans.
What about the condenser
