I am a german car driver with 20 + years of driving experience and as you could have guessed: I love cars. I show you how I drive from my POV with two onboard cams. There is “no speedlimit“ for me, only the limit of the car can stop me. I demonstrate acceleration tests ( 0-100 kph / 0-200 kph / 100-200 kph / 200-300 kph ), high-speed-runs and test drives on the German Autobahn / Deutsche Autobahn. With my videos I want to give you a real and raw driving experience with all type of cars (manual, automatic, electric, hybrid) and all the noises that come with it. Soy un conductor de automóviles alemán con más de 20 años de experiencia como conductor y como habrás adivinado: me encantan los automóviles. Te muestro cómo conduzco desde mi punto de vista con dos cámaras a bordo. No hay "límite de velocidad" para mí, solo el límite del automóvil puede detenerme. Had a couple of those. Yes it is slow, but still capable of being a nice daily. Due to long gearing sits quite happily at 150 kph at less than 4000 rpm. The key to, let's call it, "proper" acceleration is to manually shift to 3rd gear and push the accelerator right above the kickdown point. The lockup should not try to work then. Besides, the transmission is very reliable and easy to diagnose. If you would like to buy this gen Focus with automatic, I would highly recommend to get a 2.0 instead. It is not fast either, but way more responsive, especially at higher speeds.

we got this same combination here in Israel and the 1.6 sits really heavy on this generation of the focus. also with the slow 4 speed of that year. you should het the automatic with the 2.0L 145bhp unit A0DA engine

These drive way better than you expect at first as the torque converter is good at hiding the lack of torque during city and country road driving.
Also these became cheap quickly and the transmission is very reliable. NOT the same as in the Mondeo 4 speed

Sieht nach einem anständigen daily driver aus (wenn man keinen langen Arbeitsweg hat und viel städtisch unterwegs ist).
Die Innenausstattung ist jedoch uberhaupt nicht zeitlos 😅

This car wasn't able to satisfy me. It feels weak, slow and outdated especially the 4-gear automatic. I'd never buy this engine/gearbox combination and I'd recommend you shouldn't do it as well.
