Antonio : Happy United States Marine Corps Birthday
I'm from India and I have difficulty unlearning and relearning..
I've tried to build my own Internal compass (But I cant make my own.. Society has made it for me)
I'm not sure how to make a deep relationship nor separate myself from my job.
its been 10 months since I've seen this video, but not able to improve myself on this issue, and I have seen fallout from the same. I'm sure there are many more users who have the same issue.
I'd appreciate if you can share your story on how you managed to master these subjects..

'Separate self from job' has to be one of the BIGGEST take-aways from this. You will easily burnt out if you dedicate yourself just to your job, especially if you work under someone. You are the best investment, not the job.
Teaching all of these to my daughter.

It’s so funny because most of the first few points are all things taught in Marine Corp boot camp. Sewing, and ironing are all things I do better than my wife thanks to the Marine Corp.

I highly agree with all the points addressed by Antonio in this video. Throughout 2020, I've faced similar hard situations. Started from driving long distances alone to having a tire punch & vehicle battery failure. I've also lost a lot of important people who I intended to have deeper relationships with. However, learned to be accountable for my mistakes, build an internal compass & get moving. I am able to prepare meals for my parents & even take care of them during difficult times. I believe 2020 has truly taught us the true power of financial acumen & let go of things that don't really matter. Thanks Antonio for this motivational video. I'm forever grateful that my mother taught me how to cook, clean, do laundry, sew, iron clothes. They're things I likely would learn eventually, but learning young gave me a leg up on a lot of my peers. Also, letting go is a tough one...it's hard sometimes not punishing yourself over and over for mistakes made in your past, and letting them haunt you, but it's still doable. Reading Don Miguel Ruiz helped me learn to let go of things and move on. Great video, Antonio! Stay awesome!
