really appreciate these kind of videos my boyfriend might be having an ileostomy due to his crohn's and its really helpful to see what the recovery process is like :)
Really awesome you're doing this. I have a friend who might be going through this soon, and he has a lot of questions about this process. Thank you thank you thank you
My brothers about to have a stoma bag due to a perforated bowel - do you suggest anything for myself and my family to do to help him get through the first initial time during healing etc Thanks for your video it was so helpful for me 😊
Honey! You can do it! I have had my ileostomy for 36 years! Go slow….you need to understand what you can and cannot eat…what physical things you can and cannot do…I can help you if you need me…oh, and…sleep on your back not on your sides…let your new abdominal friends play nice. It took me about 6 weeks until I could roll over. All the little things will help you so very much. I can help you if you would like…also, in time, I used pediatric supplies. They are much more discrete than the popular supplies. Convatec is superior to other supplies.
Well done ❤️ the stoma community are a wonderful bunch. Much love to you (and anyone else that reads this) 👍🏻 xx
