Thanks for sharing. I’ve been symptomatic for the past two years over every single day going over 9 times a day. Trying multiple drugs. Got a surgery consultation next week I think my only option seems to be a stoma just hoping it will get my life back
....ive had crohns disease since 2011 from the age of 17....couple of years later my older brother was diagnosed with it.. he went through what you did....it changes you....and im not doing so good now....but its all for the good❤📖🔎⏳🌊🕊💐🌹.
I got stoma surgery last week and have been feeling very down and hopeless. Finding your channel has been extremely helpful and has given me some life again. Thank you.
Hey, I'm sorry to hear you've had a tough week. I definitely have had a few negative thoughts, but on the whole I have tried to focus on the good things that the Stoma has given me, and that has kept me in a positive mood and I think made the process a lot easier. I have been lucky though in that I have not had too many issues with my Stoma. Best of luck in the rest of your recovery!
Tom…I wish you all the best. My intestines burst when I was 22. I will be 58 soon. I hope you can have the success that I have. I will strongly recommend you be very careful on your level of physical abdominal activity…your abdominal wall will be very weak and will be compromised easily…I have had 5 peristomal hernias. They don’t know how to fix me. I am not long for this world. Please do everything you can to stay healthy. I wish you all the best, Tom
