It is unfortunate that the Alliance can't do that Family Tree quest. I would be interested in what Cho has to say about the Draenei, or the Night Elves.
I just loved it when Lorewalker Cho said You fight with the fervor of youth but the experience of an old veteran. You've seen a lifetime of warfare, haven't you? Yeah since I started paying subscription to WoW
the most people who hated it haven't played w3 solo four them the pandas was something totally new :P (for those who haven't played w3 there was a mercenary who was a pandaren monk)
As a Horde player i was a bit sad on my 1st playthru Pandaria, when the Aspect of Hate was Varian, sure theres lots of hate between Horde/Alliance but i think Garrosh would have been suitable to fill the Aspect role for both factions.
Anon ymus but the lich Kong arthas is dead his soul lost in the void, and now bolvar the lich king we do not know of and is supposed to be dead so there is no more lich king until legion came
Now I SERIOUSLY don't understand people hating MoP. "It's Kung Fu Panda HURR DURRDY HURR!" Yeah, Chen was already in WCIII so the concept predates KFP by a good 5 years. Yes they have gone full Chinese on us in the expansion but if you ignore the obvious architectural and cultural influences what are you left with? Standard Blizzard level storytelling brilliance. I mean just listen to these stories! They've finally made something original and intriguing again, something that feels important! I'm sorry but none of the stuff that happened in WoW up until and including Cata felt even remotely as important as the stuff that transpired in Warcraft III so please, drop your fucking nostalgia-elitist-TBCbestexpansion-WoWDiedwiththeLichKing goggles and try to not be cunts for a minute, Blizzard is still great at making great stories and keeping their lore interesting and running. Their only mistake is listening to you (directed at fanboys).
+The Red Baron, Seriously? The story in Cata, WotLK, and BC were much better than the Pandaria story. Cata and WotLK were about the Alliance and Horde both fighting back against a force that could destroy the world. Pandaland was about fighting back emotions, so fucking riveting.
Aleksa Petrovic I'm guessing you're referring to Illidan. BC was finishing up where WC3 had left off. We had every reason to kill Illidan, and his allies. He tried to kill the Lich King by destroying all of Azeroth using the Demon Soul. He was inherently evil. I'd say that's reason enough to kill him and his allies. Kael'thas betrayed the Blood elves like Illidan had betrayed the Night elves, both factions had reasons to go after his head. Pandaland was about how the land couldn't handle the emotions the alliance and horde brought.
that's just it though. The entire expansion has one theme; Chinese and for someone like me who does not care for anything Chinese eventually the entire theme gets a little boring till we can no longer take it and quit questing in Pandaria. I only managed to quest through the entirety of the Jade Forest till I could take no more and quit. Thankfully i got to 90 by the end of JF.
I love how one person described the Alliance as a bunch of self destructive bunglers. Night Elves: Uh we kind of blew up the world. Don't work we'll fix...oops. Humans: Let out top mage summon the Orc Horde, fail to pay the stone masons turning Westfall into a poverty stricken disaster area, and one of our top paladins becomes the Lich king. Is there anything we missed? Gnomes: We will retake Gnomeregan...soon...before the century is out. Maybe. Dwarf: Our three clans have been fighting each other for centuries but now we are engaged in political mistrust and back stabbing in Ironforge that makes Game of Thrones looks like Old Maid. Draenei: "How do you crash into a planet?" Also the corrupted members of our race created the Burning Legion but don't worry we're working on fixing that. Plan? You mean you plan these things? ("We have it all figured out. Step One: We land the Exodar. Step Three: We defeat Legion and go home... there is only one detail missing.") Worgan: So glad we walled ourselves away from those other dysfunctional races. Yes, nothing can happen behind our walrrrr ruff howl (sounds of screams and panic quickly follow) The Horde come off as underdogs that over come their challenges...even if in MoP two of their leaders are insane nut jobs. People complain about a Horde bias by Blizzard but really it is far easier to write 'we overcome outside hardship stories' then 'well, we have to clean up our latest screw up, again' ones.
Alliance Interview: Varian: alright so, what makes you think you and your people are alliance material? Race: We, Uh.... We kinda nuked ourselves... a little bit.... Varian; Welcome to the Alliance!
Factual Paladin Well they did accept some of the Pandaren who haven't manage to mess themselves up yet. Of course the Horde took the Goblins in who WANT things that blow up. If I was Horde I'd worry about going to Orgrimmar and finding a big crater there instead.
Bruce Grubb Here's the thing though, both the original Orgrimmar and it's rebuilt version were designed by Goblins. If they didn't blow it up before, they won't now.
Factual Paladin Give them time :-) After all if you have played through the Goblin starting zone it was implied that it was a game of footbomb (football with a live bomb as the ball) that wound up blowing up their island. (They didn't know about Deathwing at the time) Warchief Vol'jin: A live BOMB as a ball?!? Are you insa...uh where is that ball going? Goblin coach: Looks like that building that has all those funny symbols about not having fire near it. Warchief Vol'jin: MON, that is the ammunition building. We got to (BOOM).
i really like the quest when lorewalker Cho tells about your Race :D i have played the ally and Horde Version of the Zone but this quest make the Horde Version a lot better :)
I honestly think MoP was better than WoD. Sure the leveling may not even plae in comparison, but at least mop had a polished, satisfying ending. all wod gave us was a thrown together raid with a last minute pathetic excuse for lore.
35:20-37:09 Dezco's story is extremely well done. This scene was very emotional, but the baby taurens were so cute, awwww man :) Oh and you know what's better then Blizzard's work? Nobbel's work :) Keep it up man!
Lorewalker Cho's remark of a player's fighting skill really struck me as beyond true. The player is supposed to be a new hero, yet in only what 8 years we have faced much combat and many wars accross this world and others. and i love seeing the goblin ancestor vision. his only remark is "uh...it seems your family...died in a great fire. very... interesting." or something like that
While I liked the fact we finally got to see some Pandaren lore get flushed out more, I didn't like Mists of Pandaria because they took the character progression they did with Garrosh in Cataclysm (Him being more about honor than needless bloodshed) and decided to toss it all out the window and only keep his hatred for the Alliance. The entire thing felt like they made him a villain for the sake of having a villain.
16:15 is my most favorite part when I was on my own blood elf dk :) I can't wait to get my other horde alts (that aren't blood elves) to here so I can see where they started from.
Yeah, you should probably know that this guy has some pretty decent lore related videos, goes in depth if that kinda thing interests you His commentary is well worth it for the most part.
first gnomes that came into existence were mechagnomes, ones you find on Borean Tundra and Storm Peaks on Northrend, Gnomes today, are affected by Curse of Flesh. By their inherited, they are more towards technology than magic. Goblins seem to have gain technological sense as their forefathers were affected by kaja'mite enchantment, as they mined them as slaves for Jungle Trolls.
interesting to note is that Captain Doren was once i believe sergeant doren, (i think tahts his rank,...) from stranglethorn vale, at the rebel camp, who lead the questline to take out the mad Colonel Kurtzan, an obvious reference to apocolyspe now.
I just feel like the pandaren got hurt the most in this expansion. They live peacefully for thousands of years and than Alliance and Horde come destroy the peace and boom the Sha awakens and destroys some parts of Pandaria.
I am a horde player, but I strongly agree with Anduin Wrynn. The Story of Pandaria is awesome. And the Events.. the Battle in Stoneplow etc... marvellous! Give me more! GIVE ME MORE!!! :)
Please someone help me with the Chen quests he only gave me one or 2 quests then i remember someone giving me multiple quests to talk to people from all the valley one of which lead to to dezco and all of his quests. After i avenged his friend or whatever theres no new quests. I tried finding Chen again back at thunder-foot fields buts he's not there any more. Now what? How Do I continue all of this and find anduin and all that stuff. Do I go to the vale and find dezco?
Oh I had a blast doing the whole Jade Forest Story Arc :) Especially the Report :) Yepp... I have also experienced the Alliance Version which was... rather disappointing.
I always have a soft spot for the Horde but recently I feel the game is better from the perspective of the Alliance. The opening quests and arrival on Pandaria, and interactions with various locals make much more sense on the Alliance side. That said I love the Tauren part. Have you already done a video on the Thunder King? the lead-in quests in Kun-Lai with the Zandalari and such?
But wait, Dezco's story doesn't make sense, if he has one dead son, and one on his back, who did he give to be a Golden Lotus? Or is the son on his back the one to join (leave behind)? I'm so confused by that...
klonvomhaus Yep and none of the characters are as annoying as that Hozen and the Jinyu that is with you alliance side figures out what is going on. Though in a world with magic you would have thought both the Dwarf and Orc would have figured out given the main clue of lifelike jade statues all over the place.
I got Wow a few weeks ago and I play as a pandaren monk and I'm a little confused. How to these quests and raids work. I assume when you reach level 85 you get a quest to go back to ogrimmar and see hellscream and nazgrim and the you start all of this, or is it different if you are a pandaren.
if you are playing as a pandaren, did u get the mists of pandaria expansion? or did u just buy the vanilla game? also, if u did get mists, did u have to buy all the previous expansions to play as a pandaren?
I bet in a expantion we will re visit pandaria and hosen will join the horde as a playable race and the fish guys for the alliance. The lore for the two races to join alliance/horde is predy mutch done as u see in the video here u see the hordes part so the alliance part is probebly just a bit different but not that big of a differense
+Ralx0_2452_GaMinG You fight some hozen, flee into a fish people village, the fish people's leader has a vision and is like, "Ok, we will be best buds!"
I hear you. That being said, though, there's no way I'm going through that hassle again with a mouse-less laptop, lol. Guess we'll have to leave it to those reading the comments!
Hey Nobble, after the Dominance Offensive is there any interest in doing a video on the Dawn of the Aspects novels? I've been very confused with this series so far...
Thank you. I know this is an old video, but did you do the alliance version of this? I played it through on Horde and my account recently lapsed and I can't remember much about the gameplay or the story so I wanted to see how things played out on both sides but have no intention of playing the game again (don't have time and the interface is too difficult for me to read now that my vision has deteriorated).
Actually you can select it all on the interface, which is on your start screen when you press escape. Search through it and you can add txt, chose the size of your hud...etc.
Nobbel, have you explained the technology in Azeroth? Such as, why do most races avoid it or use magics instead? And why did gnomes and goblins embrace it instead of humble magic? Etc.

I always loved the pandaria lore, and the expansion is one of my favorites. So it saddens me, that a lot of people find it one of the worst expansins T-T

Lorewalker Cho: "Uhhh... Impression..."
It is unfortunate that the Alliance can't do that Family Tree quest. I would be interested in what Cho has to say about the Draenei, or the Night Elves.
Shocktroll night elves are boring
I just loved it when Lorewalker Cho said
You fight with the fervor of youth but the experience of an old veteran. You've seen a lifetime of warfare, haven't you?
Yeah since I started paying subscription to WoW
DONT HATE ME BUT I LIKE MOP
Chicken Fancy Pants me too :P
Chicken Fancy Pants I fucking love MoP
Chicken Fancy Pants MoP was actually a lot better than people give it credit for
the most people who hated it haven't played w3 solo four them the pandas was something totally new :P
(for those who haven't played w3 there was a mercenary who was a pandaren monk)
***** i don't like them either XD
I think deathknights should have faced the Lichking instead of Varian as their aspect of hatred.
As a Horde player i was a bit sad on my 1st playthru Pandaria, when the Aspect of Hate was Varian, sure theres lots of hate between Horde/Alliance but i think Garrosh would have been suitable to fill the Aspect role for both factions.
Anon ymus but the lich Kong arthas is dead his soul lost in the void, and now bolvar the lich king we do not know of and is supposed to be dead so there is no more lich king until legion came
Haha good eye. I've skipped over a few quests since I didn't have the disk space to store it all. Returned later to finish it.
COME AT ME BROKKERS
Riko is the man and I hope that his species is a playable horde choice in the future

Been a big fan of your channel for a while now, you are awesome. I will always watch your stuff.
Keep up the fine work sir!
Hmm that's odd, I thought I had Krasarang Wilds but it seems I skipped it. I'll make an updated version for Alliance side.
i really like the quest when lorewalker Cho tells about your Race :D i have played the ally and Horde Version of the Zone but this quest make the Horde Version a lot better :)

I love MOP lore in the jade forest!I had an amazing time leveling there!Missing it
The tip of the Horde spear, no greater honor! - General Nazgrim
Lok'tar Ogar true son of Durotan!
R.I.P
35:20-37:09 Dezco's story is extremely well done. This scene was very emotional, but the baby taurens were so cute, awwww man :)
Oh and you know what's better then Blizzard's work? Nobbel's work :) Keep it up man!
Riko is so fucking OP.
+Tony i thot that hozen and jinyu would be a playable race as they joined the horde and alliance side so wtf?
You earned yourself a new subscriber! I love the lore in WoW but I'm a PvP guy, I always love to take a break for lore. Keep uploading! :D
Amazing videos mate! I really love lore and you cleared up so many questions i had! Thanks and keep up the good work!!!
I did, link in the description!
Wow dude! This video was amazing! I was sure that i would to go bed 40 min ago, but then i stumbled over this video and now it's 3:30... Subbed!
If you have the MoP expansion and if you choose to join the Horde with your Pandaren, then you'll be able to do these quests once you reach 85.
Lorewalker Cho's remark of a player's fighting skill really struck me as beyond true. Long live Varian Wyrnn! For the Glory and Honor of the Alliance!!
Nobbel, we need more people like you
Link is in the description D:
Such a beautiful goblin name XD
Kiryn sounds hot.
Surprise corpse sex
yeah she does
i can see why Riko fell for her lol

HORDE R FKIN A HOLEZX ROLL LIANCE THIS GAEM IS SO GOOD IT NOT DED I SWAREZ
I listen to this as i play my panda
Ok, Bleeding Sun had me in tears
While I liked the fact we finally got to see some Pandaren lore get flushed out more, I didn't like Mists of Pandaria because they took the character progression they did with Garrosh in Cataclysm (Him being more about honor than needless bloodshed) and decided to toss it all out the window and only keep his hatred for the Alliance. Riko is such a funny character ^_^ great addition to the Horde intro
so pretty much, cho's the wow vesion of nobble? xD
16:15 is my most favorite part when I was on my own blood elf dk :) I can't wait to get my other horde alts (that aren't blood elves) to here so I can see where they started from.
See description ;)
Thanks so much for putting out the GREAT videos. I know it's old but any chance at seeing the dominance offensive storyline.
Thanks again!!
28:48-28:58 interesting transition xD
Everytime I watch one of these videos I pray that no one is talking or narrating and its just a play through but then this... WHEN will I learn???
Yeah, you should probably know that this guy has some pretty decent lore related videos, goes in depth if that kinda thing interests you His commentary is well worth it for the most part.
jordon just watch no commentary play throughs
So, Nice to see Kenny/Pervy Sage's keeping busy.
first gnomes that came into existence were mechagnomes, ones you find on Borean Tundra and Storm Peaks on Northrend, Gnomes today, are affected by Curse of Flesh.
By their inherited, they are more towards technology than magic.
Goblins seem to have gain technological sense as their forefathers were affected by kaja'mite enchantment, as they mined them as slaves for Jungle Trolls.
Dezco has the worst life. Loses his wife, his sons, and an old friend all in the span of a few months. :(
so great videos, I have learn much more by watching this and it makes the game more fun to play :) so Ty good work!
These videos are awesome man!! much appreciated!!
Anduin: We are good, trust me, give us a chance!
Garrosh: Heeyyy.... dickheads
Level 85 if you have the Mists of Pandaria expansion.
interesting to note is that Captain Doren was once i believe sergeant doren, (i think tahts his rank,...) from stranglethorn vale, at the rebel camp, who lead the questline to take out the mad Colonel Kurtzan, an obvious reference to apocolyspe now.
I just feel like the pandaren got hurt the most in this expansion.
They live peacefully for thousands of years and than Alliance and Horde come destroy the peace and boom the Sha awakens and destroys some parts of Pandaria.
It’s the one I started with and it’s still my favorite
I'm inclined to agree, I like MOP also
I am a horde player, but I strongly agree with Anduin Wrynn. The Story of Pandaria is awesome. And the Events.. the Battle in Stoneplow etc... marvellous! Give me more! GIVE ME MORE!!! :)
23:47 " what the ook is wrong with your face? your jeeking dead?!" LoL gets .e every time ^_^
same
Please someone help me with the Chen quests he only gave me one or 2 quests then i remember someone giving me multiple quests to talk to people from all the valley one of which lead to to dezco and all of his quests. 0:47 ''From the shadows I come''
Riko × Kyrin = Still BETTER LOVE STORY than ENTIRE Twilight series
the hozen is the first faction I got exalted with ever
Very nice done as always. Poor little cubs
Hmm, nope all from the questing areas.
Slickies! Forever more in the horde fish are reffered to as 'Slickies!'
also it can be normal to hear shouts of 'ook them in the dooker'
Aye, well... not only this. Also the 5.3 and 5.2 parts.
better love story than you know what...
taran zhu was the only one right all along
But wait, Dezco's story doesn't make sense, if he has one dead son, and one on his back, who did he give to be a Golden Lotus? Or is the son on his back the one to join (leave behind)? I'm so confused by that...
Why is this questline not for the Alliance?? Our Questline is a lot worse. =(
I'd argue that. The Hozen here doesn't come off as too bright and it gets annoying after a while.
Ever played the Alliance Version?
klonvomhaus
Yep and none of the characters are as annoying as that Hozen and the Jinyu that is with you alliance side figures out what is going on. Though in a world with magic you would have thought both the Dwarf and Orc would have figured out given the main clue of lifelike jade statues all over the place.
I got Wow a few weeks ago and I play as a pandaren monk and I'm a little confused. How to these quests and raids work. I assume when you reach level 85 you get a quest to go back to ogrimmar and see hellscream and nazgrim and the you start all of this, or is it different if you are a pandaren.
not different for pandaren you still have all the horde stuff
and one thing about raids get yourself expert dungeon gear before u raid
ok thanks for the help
if you are playing as a pandaren, did u get the mists of pandaria expansion? or did u just buy the vanilla game? also, if u did get mists, did u have to buy all the previous expansions to play as a pandaren?
i love how the young alliance Solider is actulay Aludruin (sorry for spelling i mean the prince of stormwind)
I love to hear you talk.
Not happening.
As much as i love the Horde, the alliance starting quests were way better imho.
And then the goblins and gnomes have no way of putting out fires but can make other things
Nobbel is recording very good Lores and stories about warcraft LIKE and SUB like always and thank you for another good story about warcraft
Ahh, another of my kind, lol. :) Love PvP, but Lore is as awesome as well! And in Pandaria, its even more.
It is possible for the alliance to pick up the Horde Pandaria starting quest, and even get this cinematic
MrAzious456 no
Yep. Hell, it took about 20 deaths and corpse jumps, but I managed it.
MrAzious456 Vids and/or screenshots or didn't happen
I hear you. That being said, though, there's no way I'm going through that hassle again with a mouse-less laptop, lol. Guess we'll have to leave it to those reading the comments!
MrAzious456 next time I level to 85 I'm going to try it lol
Love the moment when Sunwalker say if u have ever met our warcheif :D
36:34 good news everyone where going to have stake tonight.
Dezco's story :(
Nobel could you do lore about every race and or your thoughts if illidan is coming back
You have to admit, Garrosh's hatred is deliciously worded sometimes.
Love how warchief gets so angry
Ahh I enjoyed the Storyarc in the Jade Forest :) It was HILLARIOUS! :)
When will you do the story of the horde(like you did with the alliance)? And i mean all the sotry:).
I feel so bad for Dezco.
Can you do an alliance version. I never leveled an ally toon and I want to know what happened
Nobbel what do you think of Hozzen/Jinyu being the next playable race(s)?
Dook Ookem, the name that translates to "Ass Fucker". Well played Blizz.
Or duke nukem lol
I join the question, never played WoW, gonna start. And where I'll be able to start these quests ? And will I be able to do those quests as Pandaren ?
how do you disply the health bars in %ages?
Actually you can select it all on the interface, which is on your start screen when you press escape. Search through it and you can add txt, chose the size of your hud...etc.
i have a question am.. when in wow am i gonna get to do this like you do these quests.. and like this do this like you, in what lvl, and where???
Nobbel, have you explained the technology in Azeroth? Such as, why do most races avoid it or use magics instead? And why did gnomes and goblins embrace it instead of humble magic? Etc.
Ik vind het zo tof dat je nederlands bent!
We zien nooit 'beroemde gamers'' uit nederland.
Heb je verder nog nederlandse fan pages? facebook? of iets anders? :)
nobbel if theres a cinematic in garrosh defeat can u upload it
I always loved the pandaria lore, and the expansion is one of my favorites. So it saddens me, that a lot of people find it one of the worst expansins T-T
Haha wouldn't call me famous, but I do have a Facebook. See description ^_^
Nobbel What Class Do You Play? Keep Up The Great Vids
He plays a paladin for the alliance and death knight for the horde
For the ALLIANCE!
ahem for the horde
