  • If you've seen our Lance 2075 Top 3 and Bottom 3 video, you may have noticed we were pretty hard on our Truma Hot Water heating system. Well, after 6 months of use we finally figured it out and now it's time to set the record straight.

    THANKS! Can’t say it enough! We just bought a new Class B van with this system and took our first road trip. We were quite frustrated with the Truma System and thought we had made a major mistake. We called the dealer three times during our 8 week trip and no one could explain what you just walked us through. Truma really needs to train dealers on this system.

    Just wanted to say thanks for the boost and electric 2 option!!! We now love the truma in our 2075. Even my wife with her super long hair enjoys a hot shower now without running out!!

      What shower head do you use? I've tried every setting and still can't get more than 90 sec shower.

    It took me lots of field practice and a detailed examination of the manual and "cheat sheet" to understand the basics. I did not know about 1&2 elements options until watching this video. Makes even more sense now. Thanks

      I think that’s wonderful to have that information. However, I have to add the following comments. We recently had the experience where we had a 20 amp connection for the trailer. The two element heating option will do nothing but throw the breaker in that situation. You will then be stuck with only the gas heater And a very short supply of hot water. Goes from hot to cold in seconds. On a standard trailer, you have a bigger water tank and a bigger supply of hot water. That is not the case with the new Lance 2075. If you don’t have, the power and your Boondocking, you will enjoy a cold shower.

    I love mine as well. 10 to 12 minute showers consistently. And love the vent option. And so far I have only used gas. On vent although. If you just heated water vent will blow hot. But at night it circulates cool air through the vents. Very very quiet and very very comfy.

      Can't say how much I love this unit. Been sleeping in the trailer on the weekends. Been 27 Deg at night here in Salt lake city. Been running the heater on mix 1. I have to say it runs quiet. Runs efficient. And sips propane.

    Thanks for this video. We primarily dry camp. Question: Does this mean it won't work on Gas? Does Mix 2 draw from the batteries when dry camping?

    • @IdahoVoyager
      @IdahoVoyager  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It works on propane and/or electric. I would recommend only propane when dry camping.

    I do appreciate you doing a retraction...BUT, you should PUT this in the old video since you are spreading misinformation. MOST people do NOT see your little comment below the video stating you have this video. As the amount of views clearly shows. So, let's stop trying to make a buck from the other monetized video and either delete or add to it. You guys are clearly newbies...don't be the CDC, do some real testing before you comment and review.

    • @IdahoVoyager
      @IdahoVoyager  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Keith Cassinger Hi Keith, thanks for stopping by the channel and commenting. The first video speaks for itself and to be clear, we're not monetizing any videos on this channel. You're not eligible to do so until you're at least at 1,000 subscribers. With that said, our initial reaction to the hot water issue was honest and transparent at that time and the key disappointment for us (which hasn't changed) is that we went in thinking it was a tankless, on-demand water heater and it isn't...that hasn't changed. After learning the nuances of the different settings, it's a lot better than our first couple outings and that's why we added this updated video. That's also why we pinned the clarifying note at the bottom of the original video and also added a link inside the original video to the new video. Thanks again for stopping by and we do appreciate the feedback.

      @@IdahoVoyager yeah, but this is purely your expectation and a naivete' when it comes to this thankless water heater. My 2022 Lance 1995 has this. Why didn't I "expect" that? I actually looked it up. Sorry to come across rude, but I still think that first video is misleading new people based on your lack of research. Oh well, do what you have to.

      @Keith Cassinger Thank you for supporting our channel and we do appreciate your comments and feedback. I do find your reply fascinating given that the 1995 model does not offer the Truma hot water heater (either standard or as optional equipment). Thanks again and safe travels and happy trails.👍🏻
